The power of true love
Skyangle and Twilight have to find a way to free Night from his dark spell
"We must free him" said Skyangle
"I know but I need to know more about this spell" said Twilight
"Well they was this smoke which seems to have a mind of its own it entered Night somehow. After that smoke entered Night he was completely different full of evil and hate. But the weird part is when Night was about to finish me off he stop and he came back for a short moment" explain Skyangle
"That good that means he still there" said Twilight
"Crescent strengthen the spell" said Skyangle
"He might still be there!" said Twilight as she look throw her books
"I really hope so" said Skyangle as she started to look for a cure
Many hours later Skyangle and Twilight still haven`t found a cure to the spell
"Nothing" said Twilight as she threw a book away
"Twilight where`s Flash? Maybe he could help us?" ask Skyangle as she look around
"His on royal duties in Los Pegasus" said Twilight as she kick another book
"But how are we going to find a cure?" said Skyangle
"You said he stop for a short moment" said Twilight
"Right" said Skyangle
"Well that`s mean his love for you got threw for a second" said Twilight
"I think I know what you mean! We need to see Princess Cadance" said Skyangle
Twilight and Skyangle quietly walk out of the library hoping that Crescent didn`t figure out who help Skyangle.
"We need to get to the train" whispered Twilight
"Does the train stop anywhere before it arrives at the empire?" ask Skyangle
"No" said Twilight "There it is!" as she pointed at the waiting train
Twilight and Skyangle arrived closer to the train station when suddenly somepony threw a knife at them which miss them by a hair.
"Hello Twilight!" as they both heard a voice
"Night!" shouted Twilight and Skyangle
"Nightwing it`s me your mother!" said Twilight as she hesitate to approach him
"You can keep on trying Twilight! There no point I removed all of his memories of his family" said Crescent as she walk behind him
"Why?!" demanded Twilight
"I`m not going to let Night return to his old self no matter what so I took measures" said Crescent as she touch his face "Night"
"Love" said Night as his gaze was fix on Twilight and Skyangle
"Kill them both" ordered Crescent
"Night! Please don`t!" shouted Twilight as she back away in fear
"Save it!" said Night as he charged at them both
"I`m sorry Night" said Twilight as she activated her horn
Twilight shade a few tears before firing a powerful spell which made Night go blind
"LET`S GO!" shouted Twilight while still crying
Twilight and Skyangle took into the air and flew towards the empire at top speed
"Won`t he catch us?!" ask Skyangle as she kept looking back expecting to see Night
"No the blinding spell should last a few hours" said Twilight
Twilight and Skyangle managed to arrive at the crystal empire
"CADANCE!" shouted Twilight as she ran in the throne
"Twilight what is it?!" ask Cadance with worried tone
"It's Night he being posse by dark magic!" shouted Skyangle
"WHAT!" said Cadance as she jump off her throne "What do you mean?!"
"Crescent Quill she used a dark magic spell! It took his memories of us and he's evil!" explain Skyangle
Twilight and Skyangle explain the situation to Cadance and most importantly the slightest moment when Night return to himself.
"Twilight, Skyangle I'm so sorry" said Cadance as she hug them both
"Cadance is they a way to free him?!" ask Twilight
"I'm not sure? I never heard a spell like this but maybe there is a way" said Cadance as she thought about it
"How?!" shouted Skyangle
"True love" said Cadance "Just like when Shining was under Queen Chrysalis spell only the magic to true love can break it"
"So your saying that only true love could free him?!" ask Skyangle
"I really hope so" said Cadance
"Then we need to find him!" said Twilight as she ran out of the throne room
Mother and marefriend both return to Ponyville to see that Night was looking for them but to their surprise. They see that Night completely changed his coat as become much darker as well as his mane almost black and his cutie mark was no longer a shield but a skull.
"What happen too him?!" ask Skyangle
"It must be that spell!" said Twilight
"There no point in hiding!" shouted Night as he turn towards them "Come on out!"
Twilight and Skyangle slowly came out knowing there was no point in hiding
"Where is Crescent! Where that witch?!" demanded Skyangle
"My beloved as left and told me to kill you both" said Night "Oh and Twilight I'm going to make sure you suffer for that blinding spell!"
"Nightwing! I'm your mother! You don't remember me at all? Me? Your father? Or your sister?!" ask Twilight
"You are not my mother you're just an enemy of my love!" said Night as he charged at her
"NIGHT DON'T!" shouted Skyangle as she stood in between of him and Twilight
"You'll die as well just wait!" said Night
"Won't you make your beloved happier if you kill me first? Think about she wants me and not her!" said Skyangle as she gave a look of apology to Twilight
Night thought about it for a moment "Your RIGHT!" as he charged at her instead
Skyangle dodge the assault and lead Night away from Twilight and Ponyville she flew towards the Evergreen Forest. Knowing it would be perfect place on trying to save him without anypony interrupting them or letting Crescent strengthen her spell.
"Night are you really gone?" ask Skyangle as she sadly look at his changed body
"Prepare to die" said Night as his eyes twitch
"Night I`m going to save you no matter what" said Skyangle "I`ll free you even if it cost my life"
Night charged at Skyangle and attack her, Skyangle dodge ever punch that Night threw out her. But it was only for a short moment Skyangle isn`t a train guard and soon Night took the upper hoof and managed to take her in a headlock. Night held Skyangle in his hooves and was crushing her with all of his strength.
"Ni...Nighty...I...I love you so much" said Skyangle as she could feel a bone crack
Skyangle closed her eyes and approach his lips and gently kiss them as she parted she could feel his grip loosen. She reopens her eyes to see Night look in confusion of what just happen.
"What...what is this?!" demanded Night as he could feel something warm growing inside of him
"Night I love you with all my heart" said Skyangle as she kiss him once more
Night return her kiss
"Sky...Skyangle" said Night with his normal voice returning
Night let go of Skyangle and quickly back away from her
"What! Is this what are this memories?!" shouted Night as he held his head in pain
All the memories of him and Skyangle were flowing back! "Hey I`m Skyangle, Nighty!, That great Nighty!, Night I`m leaving, Nighty is that you!, I miss you, Night I love you". Night screamed in horrible pain as the green smoke existed his body but not without a fight. A bright light sent the smoke away along with his black and tented body that was being transformed. Skyangle reopened her eyes to see Night knock out back to normal.
"NIGHT!" shouted Night as she ran towards him "Night! Night! Thank goodness!" as she hug him and kiss him "Night I can`t believe it!" as she started to cry
Night slowly open his eyes to see Skyangle crying he slowly moved his hoof and touch her face. Skyangle look in shock and immediately took his hoof and kiss it while still crying.
"Skyangle I love you too" whispered Night as he gave her a smile which she thought she would never see it again
"Night!" said Skyangle as she kiss him on the lips "I thought I lost you!"
"Me too" said Night
"Night!" shouted Skyangle as she hugged his head
Night smile and closed his eyes and enjoy this moment that Skyangle and he never thought they would have again.
