Journey's End- Part 3

I do not own Doctor Who and I am not making a profit off of this. I only own my OC.

Thank you for all your reviews, favorites, follows, and story alert.

The Tardis takes the strain on the tow rope, then pulls Earth out of the Cascade. Everyone on Earth hangs on for the ride as I walked around the console, supervising the flight.

The Tardis drops the Earth off by the Moon and everyone celebrates. "Good job!" Jack said, hugging Sarah. I pull Jack off Sarah Jane and hug him. Jack hugged back and I layed my head against his shoulder.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"I shouldn't have yelled at you." Jack murmured, trying to hid our conversation from the others.

"You can both snog later." The Doctor said coming up to us. "We have to drop everyone off first."

Jack and I blushed and went back to work.

Church bells are ringing a celebratory change. The Doctor goes outside to say goodbye to Sarah Jane. Donna is phoning home. I turned to Lily. "Why did you come?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Are you alright?" Donna asked on the phone, wanting to call her parents. She continued her walk around the Tardis, her voice getting softer as she moved away from everyone.

"I'll tell you when the Tardis isn't full of people." Lily told me.

"The 50th?" I asked softly, knowing that it was the next episode that they were going to do and for Lily to be here... It couldn't be good.

"And the Christmas episode." I swallowed when Lily said that, knowing that before I left there was a rumor going around that the 11th Doctor was going to regenerate.

"I'm going to miss you more than anyone." Mickey said to Jackie.

"What do you mean? The Doctor's going to take us home, isn't he?" Jackie said.

"Well, that's the point." Mickey said. Jackie's eyes widened to what he was saying. They hugged and Mickey ran out the door. Jack stayed by me.

"Just time for two more trips. The first one is Dårlig Ulv Stranden. Better known as-" The Doctor said.

The Tardis materialises on the beach of Bad Wolf Bay. The New Doctor and Jackie are first out Then The New Doctor and Rose followed by myself, Lily and Jack.

"Oh, fat lot of good this is. Back of beyond. Bloody Norway? I'm going to have to phone your father. He's on the nursery run. I was pregnant, do you remember? Had a baby boy." Jackie said.

"Oh, brilliant. What did you call him?" The New Doctor asked.

"Doctor." Jackie said with a straight face. I tried to keep myself from laughing out loud but couldn't keep my face straight. Jackie saw it and winked at me.

"Really?" The New Doctor asked.

"No, you plum. He's called Tony." Jackie said, hitting his arm.

"Hold on, this is the parallel universe, right?" Rose asked.

"You're back home." The Doctor said.

"And the walls of the world are closing again, now that the Reality Bomb never happened. It's dimensional retro-closure. We have to be fast though, we have to get Lily back to her universe in time before the walls close."

"No, but I spent all that time trying to find you. I'm not going back now." Rose said.

"But you've got to. Because we saved the universe, but at a cost. And the cost is him. He destroyed the Daleks. He committed genocide. He's too dangerous to be left on his own." The Doctor said.

"You made me." The New Doctor said.

"Exactly. You were born in battle, full of blood and anger and revenge. Remind you of someone? That's me, when we first met. And you made me better. Now you can do the same for him." The Doctor said, his head noding toward the medi-crisis Doctor.

"But... he's not you." Rose said, trying to rap her brain around what was happening.

"He needs you. That's very me." The Doctor said.

"But it's better than that, though. Don't you see what he's trying to give you? Tell her. Go on." I said.

"I look like him and I think like him. Same memories, same thoughts, same everything. Except I've only got one heart." The Doctor said.

Rose breathed out. "Which means?"

"I'm part human. Specifically, the aging part. I'll grow old and never regenerate. I've only got one life, Rose Tyler. I could spend it with you, if you want." The New Doctor said.

"You'll grow old at the same time as me?" Rose asked, not believing what was happening.

"Together." The New Doctor said. The Tardis time motor revs.

"We've got to go. This reality is sealing itself off for ever. We have to get Lily back to her universe before that happens."

"But, it's still not right, because the Doctor's still you." Rose said. I motioned for Lily to go into the Tardis. We sneaked back inside.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I wanted to see you, and to warn you." Lily said. "I built a dimension jumper just to see you."

I swallowed. "What happened?"

"Three Doctors together. The time war." Lily brought her voice down to a whisper. "Saving Gallifrey."

I blinked and my eyes widened. "What?" I breathed.

"They save Gallifrey." Lily said. "And the Christmas episode, turns out Matt is 12."

"What?" I asked again. I was starting to sound like The Doctor. "Then how?" I asked.

"Hand in jar." Lily paused then said " Peter is 13." Lily said. "The crack in Amy's wall wasn't an accident."

"The Time Lords." I breathed, my new Time Lady brain working at full capacity. "Wait, that means that this Doctor is 11-" But before I could say anymore, The Doctor, Jack and Donna came back in.

"Lets take one more trip." The Doctor said. "To take Lily… what was it?"

"Lily Roberts." Lily said glancing at me.

"Lily Roberts back home." Jack finished.

The Doctor and I worked the Tardis and it materialized in Lily's apartment. The Doctor waited inside the Tardis while Lily and I walked into her apartment. "Aren't you coming?" Lily asked me.

"I can't." I said sadly. "I saved Donna but-"

"I know." Lily breathed. "You can't come back here. With all the trailers, t.v. shows, posters, you are bound to remember."

"I'm sorry." I said.

The Doctor poked his head out of the Tardis and said, "One minute, Susan."

I nodded and The Doctor pulled back into the Tardis. "So…" Lily started, raising her eyebrows. "You and Jack."

"Don't start." I said, laughing. "But yeah."

Lily laughed. "Good luck." I sobered up.

"Thanks." I told her. We hugged and Jack came out. "Susan, time to go."

I nodded and slowly backed away, tears in my eyes. "Goodbye Lily." I said.

"Bye Susan." She whispered. Jack and I walked into the Tardis and it dematerialized. I turned into Jack, crying silently.

"Doctor." Donna said. The Doctor turned around. "Um. Can I go home too?"

"Oh." The Doctor said in a monotone voice. "Sure. Whatever you would like."

"I mean, not forever. I'll see you again, I just can't travel like this. Not while Earth is so vulnerable. I want to make a difference, but I should start on my home planet first, then start to travel after. I had a really good time though."

"Okay." The Doctor said numbly. This must be hard on him, all his former companions leaving all at once. "Defending the Earth. You could join Sarah Jane's group." Donna nodded and agreed. We materialized in Donna's home. Donna gave both Jack and me a hug.

"Take care of her." Donna said to Jack. Jack nodded as Donna went to hug the Doctor then walked out of the Tardis.

After she was gone I said, "I thought we could try the planet Felspoon. Just because. What a good name, Felspoon. Apparently, it's got mountains that sway in the breeze. Mountains that move. Can you imagine?"

"And how do you know that?" The Doctor asked me.

"Because it's in your head. And if it's in your head, it's in mine." I told him.

"And how does that feel?" The Doctor asked softly, walking slowly over to me.

"Brilliant! Fantastic! Awesome! Great big universe, packed into my brain. You know you could fix that chameleon circuit if you just tried hot binding the fragment links and superseding the binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary, binary." I took a big gasp and Jack looked at me with growing concern.

"I'm fine. Nah, never mind Felspoon. You know who I'd like to meet? Charlie Chaplin. I bet he's great, Charlie Chaplin. Shall we do that? Shall we go and see Charlie Chaplin? Shall we? Charlie Chaplin? Charlie Chester. Charlie Brown. No, he's fiction. Friction, fiction, fixing, mixing, Rickston, Brixton." I gasped again and a sharp pain erupted in my chest. "Oh, my God." I bent over, my hand over my chest.

"Do you know what's happening?" The Doctor asked, sadly.

"Yeah." I said softly. "But I'm a human genius with a Time Lord brain." My eyes widened. "Are you getting what I'm getting?"

"There's never been a human Time Lord meta-crisis before now. And you know why." The Doctor just said.

"You're not listening to me." I said. My legs gave way and Jack caught me and led me over to the captain's chair to sit down. The room spun around and I blinked to clear it out. "I found another way."

"But there is no other way." The Doctor insisted.

"Susan, what's he talking about?" Jack asked.

I looked at Jack. "Memory wipe." Jack breathed in hard. "But I won't do it. If I trigger another regeneration I would become full Time Lord, or in my case, Time Lady and I won't have to have my memory wiped."

The Doctor's eyes widened. "That could work." He breathed.

"Susan? Are you sure?" Jack asked, squeezing my hand.

I nodded. " I don't want to forget you. You're going to have to back away." Tears were falling down my cheeks as I kissed Jack. The Doctor had to grab Jack and pull him back as I started to glow with regeneration energy. I smiled sadly. "Hey, you know what?" I said, standing up.

"What?" Jack asked.

I smiled as I said, "Time can be rewritten." I shot the golden energy out and screamed in pain as my Time Lady brain rewrote every cell in my body.
