Bonding

I do not own Doctor Who and I am not making a profit off of this. I only own my OC.

Thank you for all your reviews, favorites, follows, and story alert.

I slowly got better over the coming weeks. The Doctor would come in and teach me some Gallifreyan, which I was slowly learning. The Doctor called it the Time Lord Crash Course, or sometimes Time Lord 101.

Sometimes I would learn Gallifreyan. Sometimes I would learn the Time Lord's history, meditation, telepathy, and many more things that I would need to know and master.

Yesterday I was able to walk around for a couple of hours before I got tired and had to sit down and rest. Today was different. The Doctor came in and told me to meet him in the engine room of the Tardis.

I got changed out of my pajamas and into comfortable pants and a blue t-shirt. I walked around a bit till I came to the engine room and saw The Doctor in the middle of the room. The room looked like it did in Journey to the Center of the Tardis, with all the cord like things coming down into the center of the room.

"Doctor?" I asked. The Doctor spun around.

"Yes, Susan?"

"Why did you ask me to come down here?" I asked.

"Well, today you are going to bond to the Tardis."

My eyes widened. "I thought that I already was bonded." I said, astonished.

"Yeah, but as a human." The Doctor told me. "Not as a Time Lord."

"Lady." I coughed.

The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Time Lady." The Doctor walked to me and grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me gently to the center of the room. "Just relax, Susan. Close your eyes and open your mind."

I did as The Doctor asked.

"Good. Good." The Doctor's voice said. "Now, connect your mind to the Tardis, go on, it won't hurt."

I breathed and opened the connection. I felt a warm presence flow throughout my body. It was unlike anything I had ever felt before. Susan. The Tardis said. Hello little one. We finally have meet like we are supposed to.

Did you know that I was going to become a Time Lady? I asked Sexy.

Yes, little one. It was foretold long before even I was born.

My eye's rolled. Ugg, Not a prophecy. I hate prophecies.

The Tardis hummed softly. Yes little one, a prophecy, though you will have to visit the Oods to find it out. Convince The Doctor to take you, although you cannot let him hear it, the prophecy.

Why?

He will try to prevent it.

Another one of Those prophecies?

Unfortunately yes. The Tardis replied. Our time is running short. The Doctor is getting anxious. We have been talking for a long time.

What? It's only been a couple minutes! I exclaimed.

No, Susan. It's been five hours. Go back to reality, little one. See Ood Sigma as fast as possible. And remember, do not under any circumstances let The Doctor find out the prophecy.

Yes, Sexy. I said.

I blinked opened my eyes to see The Doctor scanning my face with a sonic screwdriver. "Stop sonicing me!" I exclaimed, pushing his hand away.

"Susan!" The Doctor said, hugging me.

"Uh…" I said. The Doctor didn't let go so I patted him lightly on the back. "It's okay Doctor, I'm Okay."

The Doctor pulled back. "I thought I'd lost you to the Tardis. Some times that happens with young Time Lords and Ladies. The Tardis claims you and sucks you into it's memory core and leaves the body... empty. It's not common but common enough that everyone knows about it… or used to."

"I'm fine." I said. "I was just having a chat with the Tardis."

The Doctor eyed me warily. "A five hour chat?"

I sighed. "Yeah, even though it was more like five minutes for me."

"Can you tell me what it was about?"

"No. But I read in a book in the Tardis's library that I can now fly the Tardis!" I said, changing the subject fast.

The Doctor's eyes lit up. "Yes you can. After you are done bonding with a Tardis, you can fly it! Do you want to try?"

My eyes widened. "Now?" I asked.

"As good a time as any." The Doctor responded. "Come on." The Doctor said, leading me out the door. "Lets try to get to Jack's."

I smiled as I piloted the Tardis, smoother than The Doctor. The Doctor said to me that the best way to learn something was to do it, so he wasn't going to help at all. He was currently sitting in the captain's chair reading a quantum physics book.

I took out my cell and rang Jack. "Hey Jack." I said as soon as he picked up.

"Susan! How are you?" Jack asked me.

"Feeling great!" I responded. "Where are you and what's the date?"

"Torchwood, a month after the planets fiasco. Why?"

I pressed the landing gear and just to play with Jack and The Doctor, I pressed the blue stabilizers. I landed with a gentle thud, the regular noise that comes from the breaks didn't go off. I escaped the Tardis without The Doctor noticing and saw that I was in Jack's office.

Jack was turned to the window, looking out with his right hand holding his cell to his ear. I crept up behind him and said yelling, "Hi Jack!"

Jack spun around and took out his gun and spun it wildly. When he saw it was me he sighed. "Susan! Don't scare me like that, I could have shot you." Jack said, putting away the gun and hanging up the cell.

"Sorry, but I really wanted to do that." I pouted.

Jack looked around at the Tardis, confused. "I didn't hear the Tardis land."

I giggled and said, "That's because it's not supposed to make that noise. The Doctor leaves the brakes on."

"I love that noise." The Doctor said from the doorway to the Tardis. "Great job, by the way, Susan. Tight fit but you got it."

"What's he talking about?" Jack asked me.

"I flew the Tardis!" I said excitedly. "And I did it by myself for the first time!"

Jack hugged me. "Exilant! You even managed to get here on time unlike a certain someone." Jack said, nodding to The Doctor.

"Hey!" The Doctor took a deep breath, as if he was going to argue but then let it out. "I guess I am late sometimes."

"Sometimes?" I laughed. "Oh I wish I could contradict you but most of my evidence is spoilers."

The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Okay Susan, you got your visit, time to continue learning. There's more things that you have to know before I take you on another adventure."

I groaned. "Fine. By Jack. See you soon." We hugged and Jack gave me a quick kiss.

"See you soon, Susan. Be careful. Take care of The Doctor." Jack told me.

"Right here." The Doctor said. We migrated closer to The Tardis, neither of us wanting to go.

"By." I said again.

"By." Jack said. We entered the Tardis and I closed the door while The Doctor went to dematerialize us, with the brakes on. I rolled my eyes and held on to the control counsel as Sexy grumbled in my head about The Doctor not knowing the proper way to fly her.
