Prince Nightwing
A knight`s proposal
Night, Luna, Celestia and Shining all bought Cadance and Lightning back to the castle and was quickly rush to the castle`s hospital. The doctors quickly check on Cadance and Lightning and the unborn foal.
"Doctor? Is she going to be alright?!" ask Snow as he wordily hold the sleeping Lightning`s hoof
"If you haven`t transfer her some of your magic your unborn foal would have been dead and her highness as well" said the doctor as he signed in relief
"Is she going to be so tried most of the time?" ask Snow as he worriedly look at her
"Yes, she needs to rest very often to regain her magic that was taken from her. Her highness and Princess Cadance both needs to rest and not use their magic in any circumstances! Forbidden to use their magic's!" said the doctor as he check his clipboard
"What will happen if they used their magic in their stats?!" ask Shining
"They will both losses their magic forever or in worst cases die" said the doctor
"Snow...its...it's...I`ll be fine" whispered Lightning as she open one eye
"Lightning you need your rest!" said Snow as he worriedly touch her face with his wing
"What about the kingdom?" asks Lightning as she lay back down?
"Don't worry a thing honey!" said Snow as he kiss her on the lips "I'll take care of everything just rest"
"Highness!" said the doctor
"Yes" said Snow
"I wanted to congratulate you on saving your foal and wife" said the doctor as he glances at Lightning
"Well it was Night who found her" said Snow as he motion him to enter
"Well your highness I`m not telling you how to do your job but I think he earn a promotion" said the doctor
"Snow you don`t have too I was just doing my job!" said Night
"You were doing your job and because you were doing it so well you saved my wife and unborn foal life" said Snow as he nuzzled her
"Not to mention saving my wife as well" said Shining "You earned it!"
"We`re so proud of you!" said Twilight as she walk in with Flash
"Mom! Dad!" said Night as he ran up to them and hug them both "When did you get here?!"
"A few minutes ago when he heard that you saved Lightning and Cadance we didn`t hesitate to come" said Twilight as she smiled at Flash
"Son I think you forgot about somepony?" said Flash as he moved out of the door way
"Nighty!" shouted Skyangle as she embrace him in her hooves "You have no idea how worried I was!"
"Don`t worry I told you that I would come back" said Night as he kiss her on the lips
Two days pass and Lightning and Cadance were still in deep sleep but whenever they do awake both their husbands made she that neither mare would use her magic and would do everything for them. Night and Skyangle have spent more and more time together and didn`t spend much time apart.
"Do you know what position you`ll get?" ask Skyangle as she had her head on his back while he was reading a book
"Not yet" said Night as he glance at her
"Either way at least we`re together" said Skyangle
"And we will stay like that forever" said Night as he smiled at her
"I would love that" said Skyangle
As they were about to kiss once more Night was suddenly summoned to the throne room
Knock! Knock!
"Enter!" as Night heard Snow`s voice
"Hello Snow! Captain!" said Night as he bowed his head at them
"Night, as you know Captain Cloud of Cloud Kingdom is going to retire" said Snow
"Yes I've heard about it" said Night
"And I've been talking to Captain Armor and Lightning" said Snow
"And we have all deicide to make you the new captain of the guards!" said Shining Armor as he proudly smiled at him
"Re…..really!" ask Night as he couldn't believe it
"Really" said Snow as he smiled at her
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" shouted Night as he jump up and down "THANK YOU SO MUCH!"
Snow and Shining both smiled at each other
"Captain Nightwing!" said Snow as he used his royal tone of voice
"Yes sir!" said Night as he saluted them both
"As your first act of captain of the guard! You must get the right armor and strengthen the security around the royal chambers and the guest room where Princess Cadance is!" said Snow as he stood up with his wings open
"Yes sir!" shouted Night as he walks out the door
As Night was out the door he jump tree feet into the air and flew off in a dash to the supply room
"He doesn't get that from Twily" said Shining as he smiled at Snow
"Are you sure about that?!" ask Snow as he closed his wings
"What do you mean….!" Said Shining as he tried to think of a time that Twilight was like her son "Snow! Wait up!"
Night joyfully went to get his new armor! He looks in amazement to see how different his new armor was from his old one. His new armor was more detailed in the swirls but the roses where gone from the front, on the flank sides where the was a swirl and two dots was now a red rose, under the rose it use to be flat but now it was more out and it curved at the end in dark blue, the castle's emblem wings were removed and was just the shield and on top of his helmet where the mane connects to the helmet was another rose. Night went to the changers room and put his new armor and still couldn't believe he was captain of the guards.
"This is incredible" said Night as he look at his new armor "Time to get to work!"
Night went to head quarts of the royal guards
"Orders by King Snow!" shouted Night as he enters the room "Maximum security and petrol duty around Queen Lightning and Princess Cadance rooms!"
"Yes captain!" shouted the guards
"Captain!" Thought Night as he knew he needed to get use to it
Night walk out of HQ and headed back to Skyangle with his new armor
"Hey Skyangle you wonder what position I would get right!" said Night as he slowly open the door
"Yea!" said Skyangle
"Well I got CAPTAIN OF THE GUARDS!" shouted Night as he show off his new armor
"CONGRATULATIONS NIGHTY!" shouted Skyangle as she hugs him
"Let's celebrate tonight?!" Ask Night
"Alright!" said Skyangle
"Meet me tonight at our special place" said Night as he wink at her
A few hours later Skyangle went to visit Lightning in her room but as was stop by the royal guards
"Halt!" shouted one of the guards
"No pony is aloud near the royal chambers!" said the other guards
"Back away or your be arrested!" said the first guard
"Let her in!" as they heard Lightning's voice
"Highness are you sure?!" ask the second guard with a worried tone
"Yes" said Lightning
The two guards look at each other then nodded in agreement
"You may enter" said the second guard as he open the door
"Lightning" said Skyangle as she enter her room
"Skyangle it's nice to see you" said Lightning as she stood up from her bed
"Don't push yourself!" said Skyangle
"Its fine" said Lightning as she looks at her "Congrats on Night promotion"
"Thank you but I need to ask you something?" said Skyangle as she worriedly looks away
"You can tell me anything" said Lightning
"I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you" said Skyangle as she shamefully look aeay
"Skyangle all of this isn't your fault" said Lighning
"Yes it is! Look you lost all of your magic and almost died!" Said Skyangle
"And would Night be happier without you?" Ask Lightning "because I don't think so"
"Why are you forgiving me so easily?" Ask Skyangle as she didn't understand why
"Because the one I loved almost did a mistake and for years thought it was his fault" said Lightning as smiled at her
"Who?" Ask Skyangle
"Me" said Snow as he walk in the room "I farher trick me and took Lightning away I saved her but he almost killed her! I hold that guilt for years"
"But then he saw that it was truely not his fault like this situation isn't yours" said Lightning
"I think I see what you mean" said Skyangle
"Good but what I want to know why are you checking on me every 10 minutes" ask Lightning
"Well it's because I love you with a passion! That's why I do it" said Snow as he walks towards the bed "Honey why aren't you sleeping?"
"I guess your right….yawn!" said Lightning
"Thank you Lightning" said Skyangle as she bowed at left the room
Skyangle look back into the room to see Snow sitting on the bed as Lightning fell asleep near him. She watch as Snow tenderly watch over his wife but the doors were closed chute by the royal guards. Night went to the best jewelry shop he could find.
"Hello captain Nightwing" said the jeweller
"Hello how do you know my name?" ask Night
"Your quiet known here" said the jeweller "How can I help you?"
"I need to buy engagement ring" said Night as he look at the show case
"Congratulation highness!" said the jeweller "They are fine choices"
"This one" said Night as he took a golden ring with the diamonds in shape of a heart
"Perfect choice" said the jeweller "That will be 100 bites but since you're our new captain and prince it's free" said the jeweller as he wrap the ring in the box
"Are you sure?!" ask Night as he look at the box
"Take it" said the jeweller
"Thank you" said Night as he took the ring
"No thank you for saving our Queen" said the jeweller
Tonight was the big night, Night and Skyangle met at their secret garden that was made just for them
"Nighty!" said Skyangle as she kisses him on the lips
"Skyangle looking beautiful as ever" said Night as he removed his helmet
"And your as handsome as ever" said Skyangle as she blush slightly
Skyangle with all the recent events happening to us and the ponies we know well I know we can get though everything together. Skyangle do you want to spend all of our adventures together! I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Skyangle will you marry me?" ask Night as he took out his ring
"Nighty of course I'll marry you!" said Skyangle as she hug and kiss him passionately on the lips
"This is wonderful!" shouted Night as he place the ring on Skyangle's wing "This is the best day of my life!"
"Me too Nighty" said Skyangle as she kiss him again
"I love you Skyangle!" said Night as he kiss her on the lips
"I love you too, Nighty" said Skyangle as she wrap her wings around him as they kiss
