"What in the world, where are we?" Mitsuru asked.
"This is the sacred world of the Kais, mortals are not usually allowed to set foot here." Kibito said pointing towards a stone. "Now then, with any luck one of you will be able to remove that and defeat Majin Buu."
"What is it?" Gohan asked.
"Why don't we fly over so you can see for yourself Gohan." the Supreme Kai said calmly.
"Wait, but what about everyone else on earth?" Gotenks asked suddenly.
"He's right, some of us need to go back and try to slow Buu down." Piccolo said calmly. "I'll go back with Gotenks."
"Very well, in that case we'll…" Kibito started to say before Super Buu appeared next to them. "What, how?"
"You're wondering how I found you all, Goku has access to the Instant Transmission technique, and since your friends detection abilities are amplified it was a simple task to locate your energy." Super Buu said calmly.
"Wait, if you're anything like Goku you'll want to fight us when we're at our strongest." Piccolo said quickly. "We need a bit more time."
"I'm well aware of that, which is why I've come to suggest you take advantage of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and increase your strength as much as you can." Super Buu said.
"That won't be enough." the Supreme Kai said nervously.
"He's right, no matter how much we train we won't be able to beat you." Piccolo said just as Gotenks defused.
"Oh man, now what are we supposed to do Trunks?" Goten asked nervously.
"I don't know Goten, but I'm not giving up." Trunks said.
"You two are brave but you should realize that as I am now even fusing won't help you defeat me." Super Buu said calmly before pausing. "What in the world is that?"
The moment he said that, Super Buu flew in the direction Kibito had pointed earlier.
"No, this is bad he's heading for the Z-sword." the Supreme Kai said fearfully. "We have to stop him."
"Penthesilea, Bufula." Mitsuru said quickly.
"Polydeuces, Zionga." Akihiko said.
The moment the two personas appeared, Buu reappeared next to the group holding the Z-sword.
"This clearly has some connection to you two, I sense an unusual power within this blade." Super Buu said calmly while dodging the ice and electricity. "Now the question is how to unleash it."
"A monster such as you will never be able to unleash the power of the Z-sword." Kibito said.
"The sword has no power, there's something else." Super Buu said forming a ki blast and shattering the Z-sword. (1)
"The Z-sword, he just shattered it." the Supreme Kai said in disbelief.
"I see, that explains quite a lot." Super Buu said calmly. "So you're the one with the unusual power I was sensing."
"This is impossible, two Supreme Kais?" Kibito asked in shock.
"Two, I think he's your buddy's grandpa to be honest." Junpei said.
"Some people have no manners, I'll have you know I've never seen any of you people in my life, now can someone please point me in the…" the old kai said before freezing. "I sense an incredible potential within several people here."
"Oh, and do you have any way of allowing them to harness this power?" Super Buu asked calmly.
"Of course I can." the old kai said angrily. "Who do you think you're talking to I can unlock any warrior's potential."
"In that case please unlock our hidden potential, it may be the only way to defeat him." Gohan said urgently.
"I can wait, which one of you would like to increase your power first?" Super Buu asked with a smirk.
"I don't think you can unlock my power." Minato said quietly.
"Oh, and why do you say that?" the old kai asked angrily before taking a second look at Minato. "You, I'll start by unlocking your potential. Come here and sit down."
As the old kai said that, Minato walked over to him and sat down.
"I don't mean to offend, but I have a feeling you won't be able to tap into my strength like you could for everyone else." Minato said quietly.
"Just watch and learn." the old kai said closing his eyes and extending his arms towards Minato only to fall backwards moments later.
"Hey, are you alright?" Gohan asked nervously.
"I'm fine, but this one was right about his strength forget increasing it I could barely stand to be near it for more than a few seconds." the old kai said. "I don't know who you are but there's something different about you." (2)
"Well, can you unlock anyone else's strength?" Akihiko asked.
"I already told you, I have no idea what happened with him but just watch." the old kai said. "You in the blue, sit down."
"Huh, are you talking about me?" Gohan asked.
"Of course I'm talking about you, who else would I be talking about?" the old kai asked in annoyance. "Now sit down so I can unlock your full power."
"Enough of this, it's a waste of our time." Vegeta said. "I'll fight you myself right now."
"Are you sure Vegeta, well if want to die before getting your strength increased I suppose I'll oblige." Super Buu said calmly before teleporting in front of Vegeta and kicking him into the air.
"The idiot is going to get himself killed." Piccolo said.
"No, Vegeta won't die." Gohan said. "We both know he won't let that happen."
"Are you done gawking or would you prefer I go fishing instead of unlocking your power?" the old kai asked impatiently.
"Oh, sorry about that." Gohan said. "So you just need me to sit here right?"
"Exactly, and it's about time someone listens to their elders." the old kai said assuming the same pose he had before.
"I hope this is enough to overpower Majin Buu, otherwise the entire universe is doomed." Piccolo said.
"Gohan will beat him, I know he will." Goten said confidently.
"I hope you're right, because right now he's the only person who has any hope of winning." Minato said quietly.
(Super Buu has arrived on the planet of the kais, and is engaging Vegeta in a fight while the old kai unlocks the potential of the others. Next chapter Gohan's potential will be unlocked, and a second character will begin the process. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
(Author's Note: Super Buu inherited Goku's personality and so is more willing to wait for a good fight as opposed to just destroying everything.)
