"Darn it, just what is it going to take to beat you already?" Vegeta said angrily.
"Haven't you realized that you're not strong enough to defeat me Vegeta?" Super Buu asked calmly. "Nothing you can do will change the outcome of our battle. Now then, Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha!"
With those words, Super Buu launched the massive blue beam towards Vegeta only for it to be deflected towards the sky.
"Stay out of this, I don't need any help." Vegeta said weakly.
"We can't take any risks Vegeta, plus the more time we buy the others the better." Piccolo said.
"He's right, with any luck we'll be able to buy the others enough time to take him down." Akihiko said. "Polydeuces, Sukunda."

"Hey, I just had a thought." Junpei said. "Do you think this magic ritual thing could make one of us stronger?"
"What are you implying Iori?" Mitsuru asked.
"I was just thinking, if Buu's got Yuka-tan's strength we might need a powerful persona user to back up Gohan." Junpei said.
"Junpei's right, but it didn't work on me, and you're weak to wind." Minato said. "So that leaves you Mitsuru-sempai."
"You have a good point, very well I'll see if my strength can be enhanced as well." Mitsuru said calmly.
"Can you stop with the endless chatter, you're breaking my concentration." the old kai said angrily. "If you want me to unlock your hidden strength fine but until I'm finished be quiet."
"Sorry about that." Minato said.
"You should apologize, now then we have more work to do." the old kai said turning back to Gohan.

"This is getting us nowhere." Vegeta said as another ki blast flew inches from his head.
"Right now we don't have any choice, all we can do is try to but the others as much time as we can." Piccolo said while concentrating his ki. "Special Beam Cannon!"
Just before the beam hit him, a hole appeared in Super Buu's chest.
"Darn it, even slowed down we can't touch him." Akihiko said. "Polydeuces, Tarunda."
"Nice try, but that's not going to be enough you three." Super Buu said calmly. "Of course there is one other minor detail you should be made aware of. Isis Diarama."
The moment Isis appeared, a faint glow appeared around Buu.
"What is that?" Piccolo asked nervously.
"Isis isn't simply limited to wind offensive techniques, she's also adept at healing injuries. In other words your chances of defeating me are nonexistent." Super Buu explained.
"If you can heal then all we need to do is hit you faster than you can recover." Vegeta said extending his arms and gathering large amounts of ki.
"Scatter shot." Piccolo said quickly shooting ki blasts past Super Buu. "Nowhere for you to run now Buu."
"Perhaps not, but we both know these blasts won't do anything to me." Super Buu said. "However the same can't be said for you."
As he said that, Buu launched a ki blast towards Piccolo only for a second blast to intercept it.
"No way, how much power did he have?" Vegeta asked in disbelief lowering his arms.
"You three can head back now, I'll handle this myself." Gohan said confidently.
"Gohan, don't be stupid he's still stronger than you are." Piccolo said. "Fighting him yourself is suicide."
"I know, but I only need to fight him on my own." Gohan said. "I have no intention of beating him."
After saying that, Gohan flew towards Super Buu and sent him flying with a kick to the face.
"Gohan can handle himself, let's get back to the others." Akihiko said.

"Incredible, I don't know what makes your power different than his but whatever it is I can unlock your potential incredibly quickly." the old kai said.
"I appreciate the assistance." Mitsuru said calmly.
"Still, our strength isn't the same as Gohan's energy." Minato said. "Hopefully this will make it easier for us to climb Tarturus."
The moment Minato said that, Piccolo, Akihiko, and Vegeta landed next to Junpei. (1)
"How are things going?" Akihiko asked.
"Good for now, Mitsuru-sempai is getting a power boost so she can help Gohan take down Buu." Junpei said as a ki blast flew over his head.

"Impressive, you've gotten stronger Gohan." Super Buu said blocking another punch. "Unfortunately, you still aren't strong enough to defeat me."
"There's only one way to find out." Gohan said. "Let's stop holding back."
"If you insist, though I was hoping to avoid killing you so quickly." Super Buu said calmly.
"That might be harder than you think." Gohan said starting to charge his energy.
"Well, I didn't think you were hiding that much power." Super Buu said calmly. "However it still isn't enough to defeat me."
With those words Super Buu began gathering his own energy.

"This is unbelievable, if those two fight here they'll rip the planet apart." the Supreme Kai said nervously.
"It's worse than that, Gohan is weaker than Majin Buu." Piccolo said. "He can't possibly win."
"Then what are we sitting around here for?" Junpei asked. "We need to help him."
"If you get involved you'll only make things worse, as it is now any of us would just distract him from the fight." Vegeta said angrily. "All we can do is wait and see what happens."
"Goten, we need to fuse again." Trunks said. "If we do that we'll be strong enough to help Gohan."
"Right, let's do it Trunks." Goten said.
"Fu…" Trunks and Goten started to say only for Piccolo to stop them.
"It won't work, Gotenks is strong but this fight is out of his league." Piccolo said. "None of us would even make a dent in Majin Buu now."
"I disagree, you may have a better chance than you think." the old kai said with a smirk.
"Mitsuru, do you think you and Gohan can stop him?" Akihiko asked nervously.
"It's entirely possible." Mitsuru said turning to the Supreme Kai. "Your ancestor is incredibly skilled. Now, it's time for the execution."
As she said that, Mitsuru started walking towards Gohan and Super Buu.
