The destruction of Equestria
Lightning was once more bed stricken and resting for over using her magic and order not to use magic for two months. But nopony would be able to sleep since they found out what Crescent managed to get. In 13000 years that Shi was part of Cloud Kingdom`s security, with all the ponies who wanted his power and was believe it would never happen in centuries was exactly what Crescent managed to did.
"I...I failed my kingdom...my ancestors...my parents" said Lightning as she stare into nothing still shock of what happened "They gave their lives for nothing"
"It`s not your fault" said Snow as he sat on the side of the bed stroking her mane
"Equestria, the three kingdoms all the ponies...there all doomed" said Lightning
"We`re stop her no matter what!" said Snow as he put his head onto her
"I really hope your right, Snow" said Lightning as she glance at him
"Guards!" shouted Snow as he walk towards the doors
"Yes your majesty" said one of the guards
"Bring Captain Nightwing!" said Night
"Of course" said the guard as he ran off
A few moments later Night came in the royal chambers and was still amazed on how big and beautiful it was.
"Your highness" said Night as he bowed his head
"Night moved every single royal guard to protect Cloud city! Surrounded, protect the borders and its citizens! By order of the royal family" said Snow
A few hours later Snow watch as the rows and rows of royal guards walk inside the city and went around the street and roads. The citizen's watch as the royal guards pass across their homes
"Rose Daisy come inside quickly!" shouted Rose`s mother as she quickly ran towards her daughter that was standing in front of their house as she watch the guards pass by (The filly that Lightning promise to give her a job when she older)
"Mom what`s going on?!" ask Rose
"Come inside!" said Rose`s mother as she quickly closed the door
"What happening?" ask Rose as she was rush inside
"Their majesty have ordered to stay inside no matter what!" said Rose`s mother
"Queen Lightning" thought Rose as she looks at her window with a clear sight of the castle
Crescent sat on Shi`s head and watch from high above Equestria
"None of this would have happen if Night picks ME!" said Crescent as she watch Shi flap his wings "But the one benefits is that I have Lightning and Cadence's powers! Right Shi?"
Shi face was blank and just kept flying for his new master
"Soon! Very soon I`ll be able to control the sun, moon and love!" said Crescent as she had her eyes dead sit on Canterlot
Snow, Night, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shining, Twilight, Flash and every general of Canterlot and the Crystal empire all met up in the conference room to discuss a strategy on defeating Crescent. But Snow knew that it was impossible to do so without killing Shi or even if they could! If it was possible many ponies would lose their lives and it was not worth the risk.
"As you all know Equestria and the three kingdoms are in danger from Crescent who has now Shi! Cloud Kingdom`s greatest weapon that ever existed!" said Snow as he look at the royals and pony generals
"We need to combine forces" said the general from Canterlot "We don`t know which kingdom she intends to attack"
"Yes I agree" said the general from the empire "King Snow your forces are already protecting your city and kingdom but we need to protect the others"
"I agree as well" said Flash as he look at Celestia, Luna and Cadance
"So do I" said Celestia
"Me too" agreed Luna
"I also agree" said Cadance as she nodded at Shining
"I never thought Crescent would be like this" said Twilight
"No pony did" said Shining
"Either way the best plan is to combine all of our forces and defend Equestria!" said Night
"NO!" as they all heard a familiar voice
"Lightning!" said everypony in surprise to see her leaning on the door almost unable to stand
"Lightning what are you doing here?!" ask Celestia as she rush to her side to give her support
"Out of everypony here! No in existence! I`m the only one who can stop him!" said Lightning
"You may stop him but I`ll be dead before you have the chance!" said Snow as he ran towards her
Crescent saw Canterlot castle and saw the many ponies living out they daily lives
"Shi" requested Crescent as her horn glowed orange
"Yes" ask Shi
"Destroy Canterlot" said Shi as her horn magic activate
Shi look down the city and saw foals, mare, stallions and many families all together spending the day not knowing of the danger coming. Deep down in Shi mind was the only place where Crescent magic couldn`t take over.
"I`m...I`m sorry" thought Shi as he cried deep down
Shi fired his fire onto Canterlot and watch as the many ponies trying to save their lives. Celestia and Snow were trying to convince Lightning to return to bed when suddenly a royal guard from Canterlot came rushing in.
"CANTERLOT IS UNDER ATTACK!" shouted the guard as there was panic in his eyes
"QUICKLY SEND ALL OF OUR TROOPS TO CANTERLOT!" shouted Snow
Celestia and Luna quickly return to Canterlot with their royals guards and generals along with Cadance and Shining with their armies.
"Captain send half of our troops to Canterlot and the other half protecting the city but keep two protecting the royal chambers!" shouted Snow as he ran towards the balcony
"Right!" shouted Night as he ran off
The royals guards from Canterlot, Crystal Empire and Cloud Kingdom all fought against Shi but were barely managing to fight him off.
"HURRY PROTECT THE CITIZENS!" shouted Night
Lightning lay in her bed fully knowing what happening right now and was angered not able to do anything. Until she got an idea that she read about in one of the history books.
"I...I could free him!" said Lightning as she stood up from her bed "I just need to find a light in the darkness" she closed her eyes and activated her horn with the remaining magic she had left "If...if...I can`t...even protect my citizens...then I have no right to be their QUEEN!"
Lightning force all o her magic to locate Shi and find his deep thoughts
"I...I can do this!" said Lightning as she could feel more of her magic weakening
Snow and Night flew towards Shi and Crescent but where being attack by waves and waves of fire and attacks.
"WE MUST STOP THEM BEFORE THEIR DESTROY CANTERLOT!" shouted Snow while dodging the waves of fire
"I"LL TAKE CARE OF CRESCENT!" shouted Night as he flew away from Snow and made a spin towards Shi`s head
"Night! It`s so well to see you!" shouted Crescent
"CRESCENT!" shouted Night as he dodge another attack
Lightning finally found Shi and managed to enter his mind but her health was near death and pass out while her horn was still glowing. The guards heard the noise and entered the room to see their Queen near death or wasn`t far from it.
"HIGHNESS! HIGHNESS!" shouted the guards
"GET THE DOCTOR!" shouted one of them
The royal guard worriedly watch over the queen while the other one got the doctor
"The kingdom is doom" said the guard as he knew what was going on and was will happen
Lightning open her eyes and saw a world in blackness until she saw some light! The very smallest light.
"That`s it!" shouted Lightning as she ran towards it
Night preformed impressive flight formation to avoid her attacks but saw Crescent from behind.
"She didn`t notice" thought Night as he flap his wings harder
Crescent turn around to see Night heading towards her but was too late to do anything. Night and Crescent both fell off from Shi`s head and landed on a field, they both got up while Snow, the princesses and the guards fought Shi.
"Why are you doing all of this?!" demanded Night as he threw his helmet on the ground
"I wanted you to pick me" said Crescent as she look at her ex-lover
"All of this because I didn`t pick you?! You take over me, ponynap Queen Lightning and Princess Cadance and attacking Equestria!" ask Night
"A broken heart can do many bad things" said Crescent as she place her hood on her chest
"They won`t hold back! You will be sentence to death without a doubt" said Night
"So be it! A life without you is a life not worth living!" said Crescent as she return to her own magic
Lightning arrived at the light and place her hoof in front of it when suddenly it expand and blinded her. She opened her eyes and was no long surrounded by blackness but light! The warmth of peace, love, friendship and joy.
"Does this mean Shi back?!" ask Lightning as she look around
"Lightning" as she heard somepony call her
Lightning eyes widen in complete shock as she slowly turn around to see somepony she never thought she would see again.
"I can see you're speechless" said the pony
"But…how?!" ask Lightning as she couldn't believe her eyes
"Well you're not dead if that your question" said the pony as they smiled at her
"How?!" ask Lightning as she hesitated to approach them
"A special spell" said the pony as they took her in their hooves "I've miss you so much" as they started to cry
Lightning look at them and gave a smile as well "Me too mother" said Lightning as she started to cry
"Get ready Crescent!" shouted Night as he charged at her
"I'll get you Night!" shouted Crescent as she fired spells at her
Crescent fired many spells at him which he easily avoided
"Your training in the royal guards are impressive" said Crescent as she switch magic to Lightning's "I'll just have to get something else to stop you" as she used her magic to call Shi
Shi came flying towards Crescent and stayed behind her
"I never thought you would go this far" said Night as he opened his wings
"Neither did I" said Crescent as she waved her hoof at him
Night was about to fly into the sky but was horrify to see that his hooves were stuck into the ground.
"WHAT!" shouted Night as he moved his hooves
"Kill him!" shouted Crescent as she started to cry
Night desperately moved his hooves in any way to escape but without success, he desperately watches as Shi flew towards him with full force and intends to kill him. Shi opened his mouth with a huge ball of concentrated fire and aimed it to him. Night watch as the last a huge ball of fire headed towards him, feel the heat on his skin and his eyes were blinded by the light.
