When Stiles flops into a chair in the school's cafeteria the next day, he's in an even worse mood than he'd been in when his mother and Talia had forced him and Derek to go to Prom together. Nothing has gone right today. First his Jeep breaks down so his mother calls Derek to give him a ride. And then she strong-arms him into driving Stiles to and from school until his Jeep gets back. As if that wasn't bad enough, his Jeep is in the shop, and the man said it could take up to two weeks for him to fix his baby. Two weeks! And of course, that leaves him with Derek having to drive him to get his tux rented with Scott and Isaac.

Which, it's not like Stiles dislikes Derek. On the contrary, he actually likes this Derek more than his world's Derek. But there's only so much of his attitude that Stiles could handle.

"You look like someone's pissed in your boot," Isaac comments opposite him.

"His baby broke down and now he's stuck being driven around by Derek." Stiles glares at Scott for telling Isaac.

"Poor thing," Isaac intones, smirking.

"What's with that look? You really want to start something with me, Isaac? I will -" He goes to threaten Isaac but Lydia sits down in the chair next to Stiles.

As if that wasn't weird enough, Danny and Jackson follow suit.

Stiles leans away, knowing something devious is going down.

"So, Stiles." Lydia smirks. "I hear you're going to Prom."

"Yeah. Scott and Isaac, too."

"Yes, but I'm hearing rumors that you'll be going with a man. A rather attractive one at that."

"Yeah, I guess." Stiles is still wondering what her end game is.

"You guess? You don't think your date's attractive?"

"Oh, I know he's attractive. He's better looking than Jackson, that's for sure."

"Cute, Stilinski." Jackson gives him a sour look.

"Aren't I though?" Stiles grins and flutters his lashes at Jackson which just earns him a glare.

Danny cuts them off, though, "So how attractive is this guy and since when were you gay?"

"I'm not gay, I'm Pan." Stiles tries to ignore the other question.

"So you're a slut?" Jackson sneers at him.

"No, it means I'm not a closed minded bigot who only dates someone based on something as superficial as their gender. Educate yourself, you uncultured swine."

Isaac tries to hide a snigger behind his hand while Scott buries his face into Isaac's shoulder from Jacksons face turning absolutely crimson. Stiles doesn't know if it's from rage or shame. Could be either.

Jackson stands from the table and storms off.

"So, ignoring Jackson. How cute is your date?" Lydia starts throwing questions at him left and right.

"Look, Lydia, it's nice that after nine years you're finally noticing me, but um…this is weird. What do you want."

"She wants to know if you've got a cuter date than her soon-to-be-ex boyfriend."

Stiles turns to Lydia, who looks pissed.

"Is something going on with you and Jackson?"

"Stop avoiding the question, Stilinski." Lydia fixes him with a look.

"He's attractive." Stiles tells them, hoping they'll get off his back.

"How attractive?" Danny asks, smirking.

"Very."

"You've got to give us more than that." Stiles looks at Scott and Isaac for help, but the two of them are whispering to each other and laughing their asses off as silently as possibly.

Which isn't so silently.

"He's very attractive."

"You've said that. Give us a description so we're not thrown off next Saturday!"

"He's so attractive, screw Whipped cream, I'd eat vegetables off his abs, how's that?"

Lydia and Danny both look at him in surprise before bombarding him with more questions like what he's going to wear and what is his date going to wear.

Stiles wants the floor to swallow him up right then and there and he looks at Scott for help, but the asshat is still laughing with Isaac about his misery.
