PS also guys I just recently put up a new story of mine called Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder if you wanna check it out! I only have the first chapter done. However, it's going to have multiple pairings possibly in the story, set in like old times. Yeah that's really specific. XD think of it maybe in a way as a modern day Beauty and the Beast. The main character pairing is Cas/Dean so if your interested check it out! It's not on my top priority though yet oh and there will be some Sam/Gabriel soooo ;p
Gabe sat out on the balcony overlooking Rome in the afternoon sunshine. His golden eyes watched the Vatican basically in their backyard. As bells rang in the distance he bounced a bouncy ball across the width of the balcony. It was large, as big as a tennis court almost. A pool sparkled beside him and the water was cool and inviting, bluer than the ocean. He bounced the ball and before it could go off the balcony it bounced back to him as if it had hit some kind of wall. Catching it he repeated the action over and over again.
Gazing over, he took a look at the horn that lay innocently on the table beside him. He sighed in frustration as he shook his head; he never would have thought that Missy would be so bold as to actually try and steal the horn. But he had underestimated her once before, why shouldn't he have done so again.
"Put that away, we need to talk." Jazz stated coming into his line of sight.
Gabe grinned at her, "Hey Jazz, just the person I want to spend my afternoon alone time with."
"I'm not in the mood for your bullshit, Gabriel," Jazz said viciously. "What is that thing doing here? And why is Missy coming after it all of a sudden?"
Gabriel raised his eyebrow at her. He whistled lowly, "Wow, you just like to get right into the spanking, don't you Jazz? What? No foreplay?"
Jazz's blue eyes narrowed to angry slits.
"See, here's the problem, Gabriel." she began. Gabriel leaned back in his chair and made himself comfortable. He knew when Jazz was about to launch into a tyrant. "That horn hasn't been seen in a millennia and now all of a sudden it shows up, Missy knows about it and now she wants it. To what purpose?"
Gabriel opened his mouth to respond.
"And you can skip all the cute unicorns and pink fuzzy cotton candy, Gabriel. Be straight with me for once."
Gabriel sighed and rolled his eyes, "You know, you're lucky that I like you; and you should take it as a great compliment that I don't smite you where you sit."
Jazz smirked at him, "And here I thought you were known as the angel of mercy."
"Christmas cards, gotta love them," Gabriel stated rolling his eyes, "As to your earlier question, I can only guess why she really wanted the horn. And I don't feel in a telling mood. Why do you want to know anyways, Jazz? Is it because of Amy?"
"You and I both know, Gabriel, that she's not gonna leave this alone," Jazz stated, "She's going to keep digging until she finds something. Either you tell me and I can try and head her off it, in everybody's best interest, or you don't and we'll see how far she can go."
Gabriel merely stared at her intently. "You know, I'm not used to Amy talking like this to me." Jazz opened her mouth to argue and Gabriel raised his hand. "Yeah I know, I get it you haven't switched bodies yet but it doesn't help."
Jazz crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair. Gabriel rolled his eyes again.
"Pft," he let out under his breath, "I have a suspicion about why she wanted it but she must know that having, let alone using, this horn would cause irreparable damage to not just her but other people around her. Normal everyday cursed objects can cause mayhem in everyday life; now can you imagine a weapon of heaven getting into a girl's hands? An archangels weapon no less?"
"So try to help me understand why she wanted it," Jazz implored Gabriel with her round blue eyes, "Look Gabriel, she's not stupid; she went for that horn because she had a reason … What reason could that possibly be?"
Gabriel gazed at her then looked at the horn itself. He sighed, "You know, I could never really say no to Amy especially when she looked at me like that."
Jazz smiled thinly at him, "Well don't start now."
Gabriel snorted, "It's because she, like me, knows that there's a storm on its way and girl, if you could see it right now, it would look like the largest and darkest thundercloud you have ever seen in your life."
Jazz froze and she swallowed thickly, "What?"

A Few Hours Later

"Okay guys, you ready to change back?"
"Does a baboon have a purple backside?" Asked Jazz resting her chin on her palm. Lance merely looked at her. Throwing her hands up in frustration, "Yes it does!" Jazz said. "And yes, I want to change back."
Lance rolled his eyes and slid across the counter table top two steaming glasses filled with thick, goopy contents. Amy's nose turned up as she smelled the noxious fumes rising from the lip of the glass.
"Is this medically approved?" She asked barely holding down her bile.
Lance and Jazz just looked at her while Gabe, standing in the corner of the kitchen, burst out into fits of laughter. Slowly she brought the glass closer to her and looked at the contents sitting there like impenetrable tar. A large bubble popped on the surface and Amy felt her stomach clench and roil with nausea. Looking up at Lance, the warlock merely shrugged his shoulders.
"You're sure about this?" Asked Amy in subdued tone, "Like I won't be sick from it, will I?"
Lance coked his head to the side, "Well no guarantees from that."
"Bottoms up, Amy, no one said it was gonna be ice cream." Jazz said lifting her glass to her mouth. Amy followed her suit and together the two of them chugged down a large portion of the concoction.
Slamming the glass down Amy squeezed her eyes shut and forced herself to swallow the gelatinous liquid as it burned a trail down her throat. She gasped for breath and yelped in surprise and pain as her brain exploded with pain. She clutched her head in agony as the world seemed to spin around her. Beside her, she could hear Jazz whimper in pain as well and what sounded like her falling face first on the table.
Amy groaned as she felt her nose squished up against the cold countertop. She winced and slowly brought her hand up. "Ouch." she whispered quietly as she gingerly pressed on her sensitive nose. Blonde hair fell around her shoulders and she opened her eyes in confusion. The room was blurry and a shape was in front of her. He was talking to her … or to them? She couldn't make out his facial features through the film that seemed to be covering her eyes. Blinking she rubbed them and took another look around. She began to see the room clearly again and felt a strong and powerful grip on her shoulder. Looking to her side she saw Gabe starring at her worriedly.
"Hey," he whispered quietly, "How do you feel?"
Amy frowned at this, "Not bad I guess." She winced and looked at a bowl in the center of the table. She could see her blue eyes staring back out at her and her blonde hair running like a waterfall over her shoulders. "It worked." She stated this in awe as she touched her cheek.
"It worked." Gabe grinned at her; his eyes were squinted in happiness.
Amy heard groaning on her side and she turned her head to look. Jazz slowly unclenched her head and looked up. "Wow, I feel like I just got slammed by a freight train." Suddenly, she jumped up and ran out of the room to the bathroom down the hall.
The three of them sat quietly as they heard retching in the bathroom. Lance and Gabe smiled a thin lipped smile at one another but Amy began to get up. Gabe gripped her slightly more firmly by the shoulder and forced her to sit back down.
"Just let her have some time, Aim." he told her lowly as Lance picked up the glasses from the island. Turning around he chucked them in the sink to wash later and started pouring the rest of the potion into little glass bottles.
"You're keeping that stuff?" Amy asked disbelievingly.
"Of course," Lance said to her as he looked at her like she was crazy, "It's still good. Besides Jazz may malfunction and do it again. Better to be safe than sorry."
"I heard that, Lance." Jazz called from the bathroom. They heard her burp and retch again. Lance shared a wink with all of them.
After a few minutes it grew quiet in the bathroom and they heard the flushing of a toilet. Running water signaled the sink and then it turned off.
"YES I'M BACK!" shouted Jazz enthusiastically. She ran back into the kitchen and grinned at the rest of them and winked at them.
Gabe raised his eyebrow at her, "I think I preferred when you had Amy's brain and mouth."
Jazz stuck her tongue out at him, "Hey Aim, I have a question for you; mind if we talk in our room?"
Amy's forehead creased but she nodded, "Yeah sure."
She smiled apologetically at Gabe then slipped off the stool and followed Jazz to their room.
Upon the door closing, Jazz turned and sat on the bed, gazing at her with a serious expression on her face. Amy's eyebrow rose at her.
"What?" She asked laughing nervously. "I don't think I've ever seen you look so serious before, Jazz."
Jazz just looked at her disbelievingly, "Really? Did you look at us at all when we had our brains swapped because I don't know about you but that's more serious than I think that I have ever looked in my life."
Amy snorted and blushed, "Okay, so what's up?"
Jazz instantly became subdued and a hush seemed to befall the room. Amy began to feel nervous at her friend's eerie silence. "Jazz?"
"Amy, how aware are you about the power that rests within you?" Jazz asked her seemingly out of the blue.
Amy took a step back, "What do you mean?"
Jazz rubbed her forehead, "While we were swapped I felt a great inner power. Right here," she lifted her hand up and laid her palm above the center of her chest, "It's buried deep but I could still feel it. It kind of reminded me like a tsunami devouring everything in its path. I don't mean to scare you but you have no idea?"
Amy looked horrified at her description, "No!" she replied adamantly, "Look Jazz, are you sure you just weren't feeling something else? Like a side effect to the magic that you tried to work?"
Jazz bit her lip and looked off into the corner of the room, "Maybe." It was quiet for a bit after that. "Amy, remember those dreams that you had every once in a while? Umm the nightmares along with that man you met?"
Amy shrugged, "Yeah why?"
"Did you ever see him? Like could you describe him?"
Amy's face scrunched up as she thought and mulled over the question in her mind. Finally she shook her head negatively, "No. I mean the times that I did speak to him I just basically saw his shadow. I didn't really see anything about him." Jazz nodded absently but her head quickly snapped back to look at Amy when she heard her laughing. "Jazz, it was just a dream. A nightmare in some cases; really nothing more."
"Yeah." Jazz said seemingly in thought.
Amy chewed on her bottom lip, "Hey, why don't we all watch a movie? Like for old times' sake! And let's invite Gabe for the first time to." she said winking at her friend.
Jazz smiled at her, "Sounds like fun."

The Kitchen
~x~
"So how did the day with Amy go?" Asked Gabe as he sat at the island busily scooting around a glass on the table, bored.
Lance grabbed the glass from him as Gabe pouted; he shrugged as he turned back around and began scrubbing it. "Fine, nothing strange happened if that was your concern."
Gabe rolled his eyes, "Why do you always think I'm concerned when it comes to her?"
Lance sighed as he looked up to the ceiling, "Maybe because you always are." He grabbed a glass from a top cabinet and opened the fridge. Pouring a large glass of milk he drank half of it down in one swallow.
"I am not!" Gabe replied indignantly.
Lance threw his hands up in frustration, "Really Gabe? Really? You and me have to have this talk?"
"We don't have to talk about anything! I was just asking!" Gabe said loudly.
Lance shushed his hands at him, "Will you just keep it down?" He hissed at the unruly trickster. "Look, you and I both know that you like the girl. The real question here is why you're trying to hide it."
"Pft." Gabe rolled his eyes and rested his chin on his hand. "I don't like the girl, Lance, I pity her."
Lance put the glass down on the island none to gently, "Gabe, look at me; no more tricks and no more lies. Not when you and I are talking like this face to face. Don't bring Kali here anymore; I don't even understand why you brought her here to begin with."
"I didn't bring her!" Gabe defended himself hotly. "Look, I met her when I was out the first night we got here. We hooked up and well … you know …"
"Yeah Gabe, I get it," Lance said hotly, "You fucked her here and then allowed Amy to see her. Good job what a way to really break the ice. It's her first time in Rome, let alone living with us. What a good way to introduce you into the whole friends living together scenario."
"What are you so defensive about?" Gabe snapped back at him. His eyes were beginning to glow a luminescent gold and a powerful aura seemed to be crackling around him. "Stuff happens, Lance!"
"No Gabe! Not with you, it doesn't!" Lance slammed his hands down as he leaned forwards on the island. "You always create the mischief around you. Always."
It was quiet for some time in the kitchen as the both of them stared and breathed heavily. Not once did one or the other look away. Gabe's hands were clenched into tight fists mirroring Lance's own hands as well.
Lance chuckled and leaned back. Gabe frowned at him as he watched the warlock stand up straight.
"Yeah, you're right, Gabe, I pity her, too," Lance remarked quietly. Gabe merely stared at him with his golden eyes still shining not deeming to say anything, "I pity her because she likes you," he said this as he raised his hand and pointed an accusing finger at the trickster, "She likes you and the best you can say is that you pity her. What a joke this is. Because you and I both know you don't stick long with your partners." Lance stared at him as Gabe glared right back.
"Shut your cake hole." he whispered harshly.
"Whoa guys, is everything alright in here?" Asked Amy as she came in the doorway. Jazz followed along behind her and paused as she reached the threshold. She glanced around the kitchen her eyes instantly guarded as if she could feel the strong currents pulsing through the air. Knowing Jazz, she probably could.
"Yeah Aim, we're fine," Gabe said instantly relaxing his tense posture, "So what's up, girl? What did you two need to talk about?"
Amy just shrugged, "Nothing really to be honest." She walked up to the island, "I was just wondering if you two would be up for a little movie night?"
Lance nodded, "Sure I'm down for that."
Amy smiled at them and nodded as she turned around, "Okay, meet in the next room when you're ready."
"Hey Amy, I thought you would have wanted to figure out more about what to do with that horn we have sitting in the other room." Lance mentioned conversationally. He could hear Gabe grind his teeth extra hard in the quiet. Lance smirked at him before Amy turned around.
"You okay, Gabe?" She asked him concerned. Gabe merely nodded. "Umm yeah, I do, Lance, but it's not like I'm going to make any breakthroughs right this instant. I have a feeling the answer is closer than I think but for now I think it would do us all a lot of good to just relax."
Lance nodded, "Okay, we'll see you soon."
"Great!"

Downstairs in the Hotel Lobby
~x~
Heels clacked against the pristine marble floors of the lobby to the hotel. Long hair swished back and forwards tempting the people around her to come closer. However, it seemed to counteract that as they edged away from the woman. She screamed vengeance, anger, hate, greed and callousness. Her eyes were cold grey ice cubes in her head. Yet she had no flaws, she was the perfect woman and she knew it.
She smirked as she walked by a group of men who shuddered in repulsiveness yet leaned towards her as if they wanted to know everything about her.
'Simple humans.' she snickered to herself.
Grabbing an elevator she stood inside it as other people rushed out around her. Chuckling, the doors slowly closed on her laugh.

Back Upstairs

"Okay guys, I think I found the movie!" Shouted Jazz from the living room.
"Took you long enough." Gabe remarked as he laughed lightly.
"Shut up, Gabe!"
Amy smiled at their friendly bickering … again. "Okay guys, I'm almost done popping the popcorn!"
"You know, if you misspell that on text messages, it will autocorrect to say-"
"Jazz, not tonight, please," Amy shouted laughing, "Hey, Lance be the mediator when it comes to those two."
Suddenly the doorbell rang, frowning Amy hopped off the stool. "I'll get it!" She shouted back to the three sitting in the living room. They seemed to be paying no attention as they argued over one thing or another. Rolling her eyes, she opened the door and stopped suddenly.
"Hi," a sultry voice permeated the air, "Would Jazz happen to be home?"
