Amy froze as she stared at the woman standing in front of her. She was about 5'5 and had skin the colour of milk. It looked beautiful on her though, regal almost., The lights in the hallway shined down on her, giving her an ethereal beauty glow. Her skin seemed to sparkle in the muted light and Amy had to wonder what she would appear like in the full daylight with the sun shining down on her. Her long blonde hair was pulled up into two pigtails and trailed down her back to around the start of her butt and curled in one large curl from the tie in her hair. Her features were pristine; her nose not too thin, mouth not overly large but ruby red as if it were the colour of roses. Her eyebrows framed her angular features beautifully, neither thick nor thin, but just perfect.

This woman was the epitome of beauty even surpassing Missy, and to Amy, it was hard to imagine that anyone would be any more beautiful than her; she knew what Jazz said, but Amy had to secretly admit the girl was hot and she didn't swing that way. However, this woman had an iciness about her that seemed to chill the entire hall around her. While her skin cast a warm glow, her eyes and aura told a whole new story. Her icy blue eyes drilled into her own twin blue eyes. While Amy's were a beautiful ocean blue, as rich and deep as the beautiful waters of the gulf this girl's eyes were cold. They had flecks of silver or gray interspersed within the blue and a hard glint like a crystal sparkled out at her. While on another person that glint would have been perceived as friendly, on this one it struck her as mean. Added to the fact that she could feel something menacing pulsing from her, Amy clenched the door tightly trying to force herself not to slam the door shut against her better judgment.

"Umm, I'm sorry what did you exactly say exactly?" she asked her trying to shake off the influence.

The woman smiled at her in an evil smirking kind of way, "I asked if Jazz would happen to be here? By the way, what are you?" She gazed at her hungrily as if she was about to eat her.

Amy swallowed forcefully at those ice cold words dripping from the woman's voice. She could feel a clammy sweat begin to erupt along her forehead and her arms were becoming itchy underneath the sweater she wore. She was saved from answering by her friend's voice coming from behind her down the hallway.

"Hey Aim what's up?" called Jazz curiously as she stepped closer to the door to see around it.

Upon coming to the door, Amy could feel her friend stiffen behind her. She could feel the magic seemingly begin to pulse from Jazz's skin as her friends green eyes locked onto the woman. The air seemed to be electrically charged and even the lights in the hallway began to flicker.

"Umm Jazz?!" called one of the boys from the living room.

Amy assumed that it had to be Lance's voice, but she dared not move. The woman standing out in the hallway smiled at Jazz slowly and sinisterly.

"Well, hello there Jezebel it's been a long time. May I come in?" she asked this gesturing behind her as she took a step closer.

Jazz grabbed Amy's shoulder and steered her back behind herself as she planted herself fully in the doorway as she responded,. "No, and what the hell do you want?"

She feigned shock and sadness at Jazz's words even holding up a hand to her heart.

"Why Jezebel, wherever did we go wrong because I know I was always there for you."

Jazz snorted at that, "Yeah sure you were. You got me into half of the shit that ever happened in my life, and then left me high and dry. You know I always used to think that there was good in everybody, no matter how small? And then, I met you and holy shit did my outlook change. There is no good in you, in fact there's nothing in you, you sociopathic bitch."

The woman smirked at this and waved a taunting finger at Jazz, "Temper, temper," she replied smoothly as she clucked her tongue. "You see, I did nothing wrong it was your own fault for being so weak all those times Jezebel. So, if you must blame someone, blame yourself."

"My name is not Jezebel," Jazz snarled out at her as a green spark seemed to zing through the air around her.

"Mhmm, changed your name have we too? Trying to leave the past behind us, is that it Jezebel?" asked the woman coldly. "Well, you above all others have to know that you are what you are. And by the way, I wasn't asking earlier. I am coming in."

With that Jazz went flying back from the door barely missing Amy as she screamed in startlement. She could hear the boys' footsteps pounding into the hallway to get a look at the commotion. Lance knelt down behind Jazz and helped to prop her up as her friend rubbed the back of her head wincing in pain. Gabe rushed over to her and grabbed her, pulling her close to his chest.

Amy could smell the sweet scent of chocolate and was that cookies, on his person. She breathed deeply and that helped her settle her nerves down which, but they were still slightly jangled.

"You okay?" he whispered quietly in her ear.

She looked up at him and met his warm honey coloured eyes, "Yeah, I'm fine."

The door closed with a sharp snap and the temperature in the small hallway seemed to drop 10 degrees. Amy looked back at the woman as she took in her surroundings with a critical eye. Sniffing in what appeared to be satisfaction, the intruders ice cold eyes locked onto the four of them and she smiled at them.

"Thank you for letting me in," she exclaimed with fake cheer, "I'm afraid it gets rather chilly in hallways these days."

Jazz snorted, "No, that's just you, you ice bitch."

"Oh, language Jezebel! I see you haven't learned much from our separation. Pity, I was so hopping you took away some life lessons," she simpered at the elf lying still on the floor.

Jazz rolled her eyes, "Yeah and one of them was never trust a blonde."

"Hey!" Amy remarked indignantly as she spun around in Gabe's arms forcing him to let go so that she could glare at Jazz.

Jazz sighed, "Sorry Aim that came out wrong. Believe me, you're not in her same league and you don't want to be."

"Ouch, I'm hurt." she remarked with a fake sadness in her voice.

"Okay, who the hell is she?" asked Amy pointing an accusing finger at the woman. "And, why the hell does she keep on calling you Jezebel? What is that your alias?"

"Or your porn star name?" asked Gabe from behind her. "Because, I'm sorry Jazz but you could do better; that just sounds like an evil fairy from Walt Disney or something."

Amy turned around and looked at Gabe with exasperation, "Gabe, not now please."

Gabe threw his hands up in surrender and materialized a lollipop, which he promptly stuck in his mouth to suck on. Amy turned back to Jazz and raised her eyebrow at her in an effort to encourage her to explain what the hell was going on.

Jazz sighed, "Her name is Pandora, for starters."

"Pandora." Amy echoed her.

Pandora gave a deep throated chuckle, "Doesn't it have such a nice ring to it?"

"She was what was placed in '"Pandora's Box'" so long ago. Unfortunately, when it was opened she came forth with all the bad," Jazz explained as she glared at Pandora.

"Wait, wasn't there also hope in the box?" asked Lance in confusion.

Jazz snorted, "Yes, but she never got any of it," Jazz explained. "Instead, she was imbued with all the hatred of this earth and the hope was split apart to go into everyone on this planet. That's why humans have such a mighty capacity for it. However, Pandora has none."

"You sure know how to wound someone Jezz," Pandora simpered.

"Oh please, you don't get hurt," Jazz scoffed at her. "All you do is bring despair, hatred, greed and destruction with you. So for that matter get out!"

"Oh please, Jezebel. I bring good things to people. You're lucky to even have met me; people would be lining up on their hands and knees to make my acquaintance." Pandora replied with a haughty flick of her long pigtails over her shoulders.

Jazz snarled threateningly, "Get out."

Pandora merely shook her head, "I'm here, because I heard about the little fiasco that happened at the Vatican. You wouldn't have happened to have anything to do with that would you?" The room became eerily quiet at that, and Pandora hummed in decisiveness. "Yes, I thought so."

She walked farther into the room and looked down the hallway leading to their rooms. It seemed she had an uncanny ability to sense the horn from wherever it was hidden.

"So, may I see this all powerful horn or not?"

Suddenly Amy felt a strong surge of hatred directed at the beautiful woman standing so proudly in their home. She felt as if black noxious fumes could just begin to pour out of her nostrils and she could breathe fire onto her. Glaring, she felt what appeared to be an electrical surge go coursing through her body.

Waltzing up to her, she pushed Pandora backwards and glared at her. Pandora stumbled back a few paces in shock as she gazed at Amy with wide eyed disapproval and shock. It was as if she had never been handled that way before in her life, and maybe she hadn't for all Amy knew.

"You will get the hell out of our home." Amy snarled at her angrily.

The words came out more as a growl than anything else and she could feel this raw primal need to protect her space and her friends. "You were not invited, we do not want you here and you are ruining our movie night. So, I want you out of our space now before I get really mad and do something I will regret. And before you ask, no you are not seeing anything now that I made myself clear….GET THE HELL OUT!"

It was quiet in the room. Amy could hear the breaths coming from Jazz in a quick staccato rhythm. She didn't dare to turn around and look at any of them though as she didn't want to turn her eyes away from Pandora who had gone a deep scarlet, and her eyes seemed to glow deep silver.

"You little bitch; no one treats me with such impudence!" Pandora hissed angrily.

Her hair seemed to spark with an electric current. Amy could see her teeth and nails seem to grow into needle edges and curve viciously into lethal like hooks.

"Well, I just did." Amy reprimanded adamantly. "Now, I asked you once and I'll ask you one more time. Get out."

Pandora huffed as she panted in anger, "I think not."

Quickly before Amy understood what was happening, Pandora raised her hand and brought her claw like hands down at her. Amy could hear Jazz and Lance shouting in the distance, but didn't even realize what it was that they were saying. She quickly put her hand up as in a knee jerk reaction to defend herself, and felt the clawed fingers of Pandora's talons rip through her sweater and sink into her skin. She heard someone screaming but did not even realize that it was her own voice that had ripped through the room with its bloodcurdling shrieks.

Her claw like nails bit and tore deeply into the flesh of her arm causing her blood to pour from the wounds. Amy collapsed to her knees as Pandora took a startled step back, her eyes wide.

"Oh my, I am so sorry for doing that! That's not like me at all!" She shrieked this in despair as she gripped her two pigtails and pulled viciously on them as if trying to tear them from her very scalp.

"GET THE FUCK OUT," said a calm voice.

Amy hiccupped, but looked up as she saw a pair of shoes standing right beside her. Seeing Gabe standing above her, tall and immense made her shiver in fear at the look in his eyes. She had only seen that same look once or twice before, and she knew that it was not something to take lightly or trifle with. She whimpered in pain as she felt the wound that stretched the length of her arm from her elbow down. She should have been nauseous as the thick blood ran like a river from her injured arm, and she had no doubt that the pain was immense, but it seemed that her adrenaline was blocking out the pain and feeding her like a morphine addict to keep her conscious.

She stared at Gabe in fear though, as he seemed to crackle with an insane power surge. Jazz and Lance were behind her, equally were like wise silent as the grave as they took in the confrontation unfolding before them. They all seemed to all know that Gabe was in a place that none of them could reach, and none of them tried to as they watched the trickster stand protectively in front of them.

"I will ask you one more time – on second thought, no, just get out!" Gabe spat out in complete anger.

There was a bright flash of light and Pandora went flying back through the doorway hitting the wall across from it. She slumped to the ground, her head lolling as if stunned., and they could all see a clear indent in the surface of the wall where her whole body had made contact.

Gabe snorted and the door slammed shut. It sounded like a large lock went into place and Amy shivered at the finality of the sound. With Pandora out of her face and the mess around her, her adrenaline slowly seemed to stop and recede until she could feel the sharp, splitting pain in her arm becoming more pronounced. She chanced a hesitant glance down at her mangled appendage and winced at the sight that met her. The slash from Pandora's claws had sliced right down to the bone; all the muscles, nerves, veins and tissues looked to be like mincemeat in her arm completely ravaged. It was amazing that she was even still conscious with the extent of the injury.

Gabe quickly kneeled down before her and gently took her arm in his hand. He gently grasped around her wrist, which seemed to be the only thing not damaged on her forearm. 'It's the small things that count huh?' Amy thought to herself derisively, as she wondered how she could even think that way after what had just happened.

Suddenly her senses snapped back to her, and she tried to pull her arm back from Gabe's grip. The trickster was having none of it though, and gazed at her in anger, confusion and worry. He did not slacken his grip; instead he renewed it bonding the two of them together tightly.

She winced, "Gabe please, I'll be okay."

Gabe frowned at this, "No you won't! Amy, if I don't help heal this you could lose the arm from your elbow down and that's not the worst case scenario. Even worse, you lose the functionality of it. Now stop being so pigheaded and let me help!"

Amy gulped at his sharp, biting tone but steeled her resolve, "Why don't we just let Jazz or Lance help me, I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue."

Gabe gave her a disbelieving look, "Amy, no those two have enough on their plates right now. Let me help you!"

Before she could argue or come up with another excuse, Gabe grabbed the tattered, frayed edges of the sweater and yanked them back to fully expose the wound. Amy knew when he had seen the scars that already littered her arm. He froze and stiffened as a block of ice, and she was scared to look at him.

Quietly, she whispered with her eyes downcast, "I'm sorry, I was going to tell you. I promise."

She could feel his fingers start to shake as he gazed down at her injured hand. "Gabe?" she asked.

Hesitantly, she mustered up the courage to look up at him and what she saw there, made her heart crack and break into a million tiny pieces all over her again.

Gabe's eyes were cold and glasslike. His lips were pursed and it seemed his skin had taken on an ashy quality that sapped any of the colour and rage that she had just seen burning brightly from his inner core. He bit his bottom lip, and savagely, before Amy could even register the movement, he ripped the other sleeve of her sweater exposing bare her other forearm and he paled even more, if that were possible.

She heard a tiny squeak from behind her, but otherwise didn't move as Gabe took in the whole amount of damage she'd done to herself.

As Amy watched, she saw his eyes shift from lifeless, to cold, sadness, deep despair, and then finally anger. Her heart started to skip a beat and she could feel her legs shaking with the urge to run as she saw the anger consume the trickster kneeling right in front of her.

"Gabe, please. I mean it; I was going to tell you, this Friday actually! But …."

Gabe just gazed at her and stood; Amy reaching for him desperately as he slowly stepped away from her shaking his head.

"Gabe?" Amy whispered quietly almost afraid that she would frighten him off. "Gabe, please don't. I need your help with this more than anything. Don't leave me alone again."

Gabe gazed at her then looked to Jazz and Lance over her shoulder, "Did you know about this?"

Amy couldn't see them, but she could only imagine them hanging their heads in shame. Gabe huffed and shook his head as he ran his hand across his forehead.

"You know what, I need some time just to myself, you'll be fine with those two," Gabe stated gesturing over to them.

Amy's eyes grew wider at this as his words cut through the air and she started to shake her head more and more desperately as it fully sank in what Gabe was saying to her sunk in. "No. Gabe please, you can't! Not right now, please …."

However, before she could finish he was gone without a sound, not even a snap.

Amy bit her lip as she gazed at the spot where he had once stood, and slowly lowered her head down as she silently began to weep. Her shoulders shook with the force of her sobs and the fingers of her left hand twitched uselessly as the wound still throbbed with burning hot pain. Her blonde hair fell in front of her face, as if shielding her from the world around her.

Even Lance and Jazz who were still sitting quietly behind her didn't utter a single word as the reality of the situation washed over them.
