Stephanie stepped into a room and winced as she heard the loud crunch of broken glass under her feet echoed in the empty room.

"Bruce?"

She felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand as a light tickle of something breathing on the back of her neck began, it stopped suddenly and she was suddenly lifted off the ground in a vice grip. She instinctively tensed up as her hands balanced themselves on the large hand.

She felt the large breaths quickly intensify; she slowly turned to see emerald green eyes staring angrily at her.

"Bruce?" she whispered tentatively. Then shut her eyes as he yelled furiously in her face.

"Bruce?" she tried calmly as she slowly opened her eyes to read his face expression.

Hulk's face changed from angry to confusion as he tried to pin point the name.

"H-hey big guy, it's me Stephanie." She stuttered then gasped in pain as the grip tightens, squeezing her tighter. She saw recognition flash briefly in his eyes before his grip loosen enough that she could breathe lightly, but not escape.

"You have to let me go buddy." she said calmly as she patted his large hand. She gulped as his eyebrows furrowed in anger and the grip tightened once again.

"Please, it's getting hard to breath over here." she wheezed out as Hulks features softened and he slowly started to place her to the ground.

Only to then be tackled onto the floor with great force. That force being Thor.

"Thor! What are you-" then multiple shots rang through the room and next thing she knew the Hulk was gone.

She turned toward Thor only to see him making his way out of the room. Instead of questioning him like she would normally do, she followed him out the door.

"Captain we must restrain Loki." Thor said as his heavy footsteps lead us to the deactivated holding cell. "I, will go in first and see if I can reason with him. He will be reluctant to surrender but he is the type that can be negotiated with." Thor said determinedly as he walked ahead. Stephanie nodded since Loki would probably listen to his older brother in the long run. (Of course he will. It's not like he has never ignored Thor before.)

Thor abruptly stopped at the doorway leading to the cell making Stephanie run into his back. He turned and gave her a serious face.

"I will call out if I am in need of your assistants."

Then he turned; and ran into the room where the automatic door closed silently behind him. She leaned against the wall to take a deep breath.

"Nooooo!"

She quickly got off the wall and ran around the corner and into the room.

She quickly but silently entered the room to see Loki out and Thor in the cage looking angrily at his 'brother.'

No one seemed to notice her in the room. She used it to her advantage as she slowly approached Loki's only soldier. She quickly covered his mouth with her hand and hit him hard enough for him to fall unconscious. She accidentally dropped his body luckily the whole place shook to it was impossible to tell he was gone.

She looked up to see the large cage had a tremendous crack in it. Thor gave the confinement a confused glance before looking angrily at Loki who was chuckling darkly.

"The humans think us immortal." he laughed as if it was a inside joke. He abruptly stopped. He made his was to a glass control panel before looking at Thor.

"Should we test that?"

"Move away from the panel Loki." Stephanie commanded as she aimed her SHIELD issued gun at him.

Loki gazed at her incredulously but yielded to her command as he slowly backed away from the panel and toward her.

She quickly glanced her eyes toward Thor as he stared cautiously toward his brother. She quickly looked back at Loki and made her way toward the panel to release Thor.

"Stand down Loki. I don't want to hurt you."

"Oh you care for me dear Captain." Loki said dramatically holding one of his hands to his chest.

"Quite the opposite actually."

Stephanie gasped as a sharp knife was suddenly pressed against her neck. A breath huffed, amused, and pressed 2 long fingers against the back of her neck. Stephanie stilled immediately. She knew the pressure points in the throat and neck, and what kind of damage it would do to press down even a sliver too wide. She watched slowly as the image of Loki surrendering faded away.

"What a shame I thought we were becoming good friends." he said.

"Friends don't threaten one another with a weapon." Stephanie spat out as she realized Loki had her trapped.

"Your right."

Stephanie felt her eyes widen slightly at his cold tone, as a small shiver of fear passed through her body.

"They like to help friends see clearer." he smirked at her as his staff lightly tapped her where her heart would be. She felt a burst of cold energy rush into her body. She could faintly hear Thor's yell of anger as she fell unconscious.

As soon as she woke up she jumped onto her feet. Her current location just seemed to be pitch black. Amazingly even the floor looked like she was floating in mid air but there was the familiar weight on the bottom of her feet indicating that there was some type of flooring. She stood shakily and walked forward carefully.

She walked a good 4 feet till she crashed into an invisible wall that seemed to appeared out of nowhere. She stepped back and held out her arm. Her brows furrowed as her hand made contact with a solid.

"Where am I?"

"We're in your mind ma'am" A polite voice called out. She quickly turned and saw a handsome very well built blond man looking at her with an innocent smile. He was wearing a plaid button down that were tucked into tan slacks.

"Who are you?"

"Well I guess you can call me your conscious."

"Why are you a- well you know." she asked with a blush.

"I'm actually not sure." he said with a thoughtful expression "But I have to help you get Loki's spell off of you."

"He put a spell on me!"

He nodded seriously. "Yes. It was the cold brush of energy we experienced. We need to find a way out of here."

The wall in front of them suddenly appeared to be continuing on where after she was touched on the chest.

"Brother what did you do!" Thor yelled angrily.

"I've done nothing but open her eyes on freedom." Loki smiled innocently toward him.

"Haven't I captain?"

"Yes, I have never felt like this before."

"Ah, it's so lovely to have you seeing things my way." Loki sighed happily before looking back at Thor.

"Three down, two to go." Loki lost his smile before turning toward her. "Stephanie will you do the honors of removing one of our interferences?"

"Of course." Thor looked at her in shock as she heard her response. She was shocked herself at the response.

"Captain, please think clearly. Loki has manipulated you. This is not you!" Thor shouted.

"Good bye Thor." Loki said with a fake wave as she watched herself press the digital red button and send Thor to his death. Nooooo

"Come along Stephanie, before the plane crash lands." Loki signaled as they made their way to the top of ship.
