The family rolls Amelia Davis in a white sheet and burry her on a sunny day. She looks beautiful in her coffin. Everyone says so.
Her brothers and sisters cry for her, and remember the brilliant big sister that always had their backs. The big sister that helped them with homework and gave them advice, and who always seemed to have a smile.
She fought for a more stable world. A world that her parents had taught her to believe in. Amelia stood up for those beliefs. She defended them to her last breath. Those that survived the battle tell of how she healed those that were injured and bravely smuggled information to their side.
Her parents are proud of her. They tell her so as they string lilies through her hair and tearfully say goodbye to their precious, beautiful, daughter.
Then they cover her face with that white sheet and say farewell to the brave girl who stood on the wrong side of history.
