Well my fellow readers, look at the journey we have done. Before you say it, this story is NOT over yet! There will be one more chapter after this. That is all I will say :) Thank you for the huge support in your reviews by the way! Cupcakes to all and also, I have now got access to Photoshop and I have submitted some on Deviantart if you want to look at them. The link is one my profile or just type in starskulls on deviantart.

A good friend of mine gave me this idea for the chapter. I really liked it and I hope you do too! Enjoy!

Over the next week, the papers had been filled with nothing but news on the fact that Voldemort had truly returned as the Minister had confirmed it in an interview. Harry and Dumbledore were also cleared and when Harry had returned to Hogwarts after the battle, he had received many apoplogies off his house mates as well as other houses, minus the Slytherins of course. That wasn't the only thing changing around either.

Malfoy wouldn't even come near the group of friends now as he was far too proud to admit that he was wrong. Star of course had immediately pointed at him and yelled, 'He told you so!' over and over, so much that she had to be pulled back but no one really minded, especially Harry. She had also been the one to run in through the Great Hall during the feast with the very first newspaper that had a very worn out and battered Umbridge on the front who looked completely humiliated. The Guardians, who had been invited to stay the remainder of the week, had laughed at her face as had everyone else. Well, once again excluding the Slytherin house.

Fred and George had taken the liberty of re-claiming their items that Umbridge had taken. Since their products had been highly praised by the students, they had decided to set up shop in Diagon Alley and sell them out the witches and wizards of the world.

Neville, who no one would have thought to be so brave, was applauded several times when walking in the halls. He was extremely happy and even more so when Dumbledore told him that his parents would be very proud of him for what he did.

As for Star, she was being praised for her bravery too but even more so for her cupcakes. When returning, she was delighted to hear that the students had been requesting her cupcakes and she was more than happy to give them what they wanted. She made a fortune in two days and the orders were still coming. The Guardians had even signed a piece of paper for her and her friends back home which she was screaming over in happiness.

Harry, Ron and Hermione had the most apologies of course. They were the Golden Trio who had first believed that the Dark Lord was back and that no one had believed them. Ron was giddy from all the attention, especially from the girls, Hermione raised her head over them as she didn't think that some of them deserved forgiveness after the way they treated Harry.

It was a day before everyone would leave Hogwarts and Jack was having one final talk with his friends in the common room about why the curse had not killed him as he and the Guardians were leaving later in the evening. He had told Star earlier on that day as she had told him she had things to do later on, but Jack could tell she was up to something. Hermione was now crying at Jack's history and that he saved his sister. Ron was trying hard to keep a dry eye but wasn't really succeeding. Harry however, just sat and listened. He sympathised with Jack. He really did.

"That is amazing what you did," Hermione said as she attempted to dry her eyes.

"Siblings are important. I would do the same for Ginny," Ron said with a smile and a pat on the back. Harry smiled at Jack who was trying not to cry at the thought of his sister.

"I can see why you're a Guardian Jack and a good one at that," Harry said and Jack laughed in response.

"Well I do try my best," he said and his friends chuckled in response. Suddenly, the door to the room opened and the Guardians walked in.

"Ah good you're here," Tooth said.

"What is it?" Ron asked.

"Well we were in Dumbledore's office having one final talk when someone knocked at his door. Bunny went to answer it but there was no one there," North explained. Jack looked puzzled as he shrugged his shoulders.

"So?" he asked.

"There was no one there but this was by the door," Bunny said and tossed Jack something. As he caught it, Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at it too. It was a pink cupcake. In icing on the top it read, 'Get Jack and go to the courtyard!-Star'

Jack shook his head in amusement at the cupcake. Hermione shook her head in disbelief. "Hasn't she ever heard of something called parchment?" she asked out loud. Ron laughed.

"She's off her rocker," he replied.

"So what do you think she wants?" Jack asked, putting the cupcake down in case it went off and icing stuck to the walls.

"We have no idea. We went to go out into the courtyard first but Star literally blocked the double doors and threatened to make us tap dance for a whole day if we didn't find you first," Bunny said with a shiver.

Jack laughed as he knew that was Star's favourite spell. "Well, we'd best see what she wants otherwise she'll be agitated," Jack said as he got up. North scoffed at that commented and even Tooth and Sandy looked surprised.

"Agitated?" Tooth asked.

"Yup, Harry nearly lost us points by mouthing off to Umbridge before and Star kicked him as she got angry. He had to see Madam Pomfery," Jack said and Harry gave an embarrassed shrug. Hermione stifled a laugh and the Guardians laughed at the thought as they headed out of the common room.

Finally, they all came down the stairs and saw Star pacing impatiently by the closed double doors with Neville beside her. They heard them coming and turned their heads and Star clapped her hands in excitement.

"Good, you're here! A bit late might I add," Star said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, Bunny was spooked by the portraits and we had to go slowly," Jack said in annoyance.

"I was not spooked!" Bunny insisted.

"Okay Aster," Tooth said and Bunny huffed at the comment.

"So what do you want?" Hermione asked.

"Well at least try to be enthusiastic," Star said with an eye roll. Jack laughed as he was quite eager to find out what she was up to.

"Come on, spill the cupcakes," he joked.

"Alright. I was having a little nose about in the common room yesterday as I thought that Fred stole my explosives," Star started and North widened his eyes at that last comment.

"What?" he asked in astonishment.

"Yes I have explosives, grow up. Anyway, I asked Neville to go in the boys dorm to look for them but all he found was a bunch of papers. He brought them out to me and we saw that they were letters, one being addressed to someone called Jamie. So I asked Baby Tooth for a little favour," Star explained slyly.

"She was vey persuasive," Neville said with the look Jack gave him.

Jack was rather annoyed that she read his letters but curious as what Jamie had to do with this. "What did you do?" he asked.

"I asked him about your snow days and he replied that you hadn't done one in a year…there is a surprise for you… I asked Fred, George, Ginny, Neville and everyone else in Gryffindor about the idea and they loved it. So basically, the surprise is off all of us. I'm not an attention seeker or a credit taker," Star said, then surprising Jack by covering his eyes with her hands.

"Wait what are you doing?" Jack asked as he was blinded. It wasn't that he didn't trust Star…it was the fact that he didn't trust her when he was walking blind.

"Trust me! Harry! Ron! Neville! Open those doors!" Star declared loudly. Harry had no idea what was going on, but he and Ron pulled out their wands and gave them a quick flick. In response, the doors started to creak open so the sunlight poured in. Neville could barely hold his wand in his excitement.

The Guardians squinted from the light as it poured through the doors. What they saw next surprised them and Harry, Ron and Hermione were equally surprised. Leading Jack forward, Star kept her hands on his eyes. Jack saw nothing but he could hear talking as he came outside. He also smelt strawberries on Star's hands. Cupcake icing, he thought.

Finally, Star stopped him and the chatter died down. Good grief, Jack thought. He hoped it wasn't a prank. "Ready?" Star asked.

"Let me have it," Jack said in amusement. Star had a grin on her face as she uncovered Jack's eyes so he could see. His eyes adjusted to the light and as he blinked a few times, his eyes then widened in surprise.

There, filling the courtyard with eager and excitement, were the Hogwarts students. A few Slytherins were there too. Not Malfoy of course. Fred, George and Ginny, were all standing at the front of the crows; all smiling. He couldn't even believe it himself. Looking to the side of him, he saw the teachers lined up by the side of the entrance, all smiling, although Snape still had the same uninterested expression on his face.

"Well, what do you think?" Star asked.

"I…don't really understand," Jack admitted and Star laughed as Neville stepped forward beside them.

"For all that you've done for us, for Hogwarts…we want to thank you and the best way, is to have some fun," Neville said smiling, followed by whoops from the crowd.

Jack was almost in tears when he heard that. "You mean it?" he asked.

"Why wouldn't we?" Ginny asked with a smile.

In response to that, Neville raised his hands and started to clap and everyone soon followed. The teachers were applauding too, as was Snape but he didn't look too pleased about it. Jack ran a hand through his hair in embarrassment as he then flew up and somersaulted down into the middle of the courtyard.

"Alright are you guys ready?" Jack called, resulting in cheers from the students. Smiling hugely, Jack slammed his staff on the ground, thus ice spreading out from it and covering the courtyard in a sheet of beautiful ice. Raising his staff up, the ice then swirled around the pillars, proceeding to cover the courtyard outer roofs in ice.

"Wicked!" Ron shouted as he came down the ice covered ground with his friends, almost slipping on the ice in the process.

"I'm not finished yet," Jack said with a smirk. Twirling his staff skilfully, he then swiped it out, causing snow piles to form here and there. To top it off, he raised his staff to the sky, causing a snowball to shoot from it and burst apart making snowflakes fall down onto everyone. The students raised their hands to the sky in glee and a snowball fight began.

Jack laughed as he saw Ron get hit in the face by a snowball thrown by Ginny. He saw some first years building a snowman as well as some Slytherins having a bit of fun as they were dumping piles of it on top of each other.

North even started throwing snowballs at Bunny who responded with a rapid fire of snowballs back at him. Tooth started to fly around in the snowflakes while Sandy joined the first years in building snow creatures.

"Can we skate too?" someone shouted.

"Sure!" Jack called back, then tapping his staff on the ground so ice travelled up onto the student's shoes, which then formed into beautiful skates. They laughed in delight and started to skate around, although some did fall down but were still smiling and laughing when they did.

Jack laughed too and even more so when Ron and Star kept falling over when they tried to come to him. Hermione and Harry were a little better than them but kept their arms out for balance.

"This is amazing! The snow is so beautiful!" Hermione said as she looked around.

"I know," Jack said with a smirk.

"How do people do it with these skates?" Ron asked as he finally regained his balance.

"What are you talking about, it's easy!" Jack commented and Star scoffed.

"Alright, you do it!" she said, putting her hands on her hips.

Jack smirked at her as he formed his own skates on his feet. He could skate without them but he put them on as it wouldn't be fair otherwise. Handing his staff to Harry, he then took off as he started to glide around the courtyard. As he felt the wind on his back, he sucked in a deep breath as he began.

Spins, jumps and axels followed in his routine and students stopped to watch. Jack twisted around so he was skating backwards and lifted one leg up so he was now skating up on one leg. He then dropped his leg back down sharply, so he kicked the ice. Jack found himself jumping up into the air and spinning three times before landing back down with a perfect landing. As he spun out of the jump, he laughed as he saw his friend's jaws hanging.

He skated back to Star and his friends with a smirk on his face. Star huffed in annoyance and folded her arms. "Yeah, yeah, show off," she mumbled. Jack laughed as he watched the people around him, his new believers, have fun in the snow. This was surely one of the best days of his life.

So what do you guys think? I thought it was a nice way to thank Jack for what he has done for Hogwarts! Twelve reviews for the next chapter with cupcakes! Bye for now!
