Well…here we are…the end of Magical Frost. Wow, I actually can't believe it. Thank you all for the incredible support and for putting up with my slow updates. I would list all of you bu there are so many, I think my fingers would break! So for the last time, cupcakes to all and enjoy the final chapter!
AND ALSO...MERRY CHRISTMAS AND I HOPE NORTH BROUGHT YOU EVERYTHING YOU WANTED!
It was now late in the evening and the ice and snow had all melted away. The students were all tired from their magic snow day and now, they had gathered to say goodbye around the sleigh. The sleigh was in the middle of the courtyard with Bunny, North, Sandy and Tooth all sitting inside, waving of course. Jack was standing outside of the sleigh, staring at his Hogwarts friends for the last time.
Jack smiled at them all. He would really miss them. This had been one of the best experiences of his life and he had seen many wondrous things in his lifetime. Neville stepped forward first. "Thank you Jack. You showed me how to be brave. I won't forget you," Neville said, holding out his hand and Jack took it warmly.
"No problem Neville," Jack said.
Ron came next. "Well, what is there to say? You're a cool guy and you know a thing about magic. Perhaps you can sow me how to do winter magic?" he asked and Jack smirked.
"You sure you wouldn't want Hermione to help you?" he asked with a sly smile and Ron's eyes darted nervously.
"Y-yeah," he said and was then shoved out the way by his older brothers.
"Thanks for all your help Jack! We have a good line of products coming now, especially from your snow firework!" Fred said.
"If you want any of our stuff, drop by sometime!" George said and Jack grinned at that whilst Bunny paled. Pranks off Jack was the last thing he needed.
Hermione stepped forward. "I will miss you Jack. You're a great friend. Who would have thought that you were such a good wizard underneath all that immaturity," she said and Jack pretended to look hurt.
"I have no idea what you mean," Jack said and then opened his arms as she came in for a hug. She shivered at his touch and rubbed her arms when she pulled away.
"Are you always so cold?" she asked and Star rolled her eyes as she playfully shoved Hermione out of the way.
"He's a winter spirit for Thor' sake! I thought you were the smart one here," Star said and Hermione folded her arms in a huff while everyone snickered at her. Star turned to Jack and smiled at him.
"Well it's been a rough year hasn't it? Umbridge, Pitch, Qudditch and even Voldemort? This year has been epic!" Star said eagerly.
"I know! Not to mention the Army we all built!" Jack said with a laugh.
"I'm gonna miss you and your snarky comments. Not to mention your pranks," Star said.
"Yeah well, a day without your cupcake bombs is like North without his cookies," Jack replied.
"Don't even joke about that!" North called. Star laughed again and then reached into her pocket, much to everyone's astonishment, and pulled out a large box out of it. Jack took it and opened it. Inside were chocolate cupcakes with vanilla icing. Inside were seven cupcakes and each had something different on top. One had a small snitch, one had a small chocolate frog, one had a little book, one had an icing leaf, one had little star sprinkles and two had rainbow sprinkles.
"For you! It is a token! Not to eat though. If you ever need us, then you throw it on the ground and bam! You get transported to one of us, depending on which one you throw. I think you can guess which topping represents who. It's to remember us by if you ever want to meet up," Star said.
Jack was touched by this. His friends wanted to meet up again. This was amazing. Jack tightened his grip on the box as Sandy came over and took the box as he was also curious to look at them. "How did you make these?" Bunny asked, wondering how someone so young could master teleportation.
"Fred and George found a book lying around which I presumed was North's? Thanks North, it helped us a lot!" Star said with a friendly wave, while North looked bewildered.
"Come on, bring it in snowflake!" Star said, holding out her arms as she and Jack went into a hug, which nearly crushed Jack's bones. She had a tighter grip than North! As she let go, she gave him a salute. Harry was the last to step up to Jack.
"Thank you Jack. For everything," Harry said, then bringing Jack into a hug which Jack happily accepted.
"You guys are awesome. Thank you for being my friend and for believing in me," Jack said as he pulled away from Harry and gave a wave to all of his friends, who waved back as well as students from the crowd and the teachers all gave a pleasing nod at him. Well, except for Snape of course.
Jack then got to the sleigh and looked out at his friends. "Hey Jack, I think this school did you some good. Maybe even mature up a bit!" Bunny said as Jack stood right by the edge of the sleigh.
"Yeah, I bet it was a good experience for you," Tooth said with a nod from Sandy.
"Yeah it was. Oh, and I promise not to make fun of you anymore Bunny. Call me mature is you will," Jack said with a raised hand and Bunny smiled.
"Thank you," Bunny said in appreciation.
Jack nodded and turned around and slapped the side of the sleigh. "Okay, move people, a large Kangaroo coming through, watch out in case you trip over his huge feet!" Jack shouted loudly, causing all the students to laugh and for Bunny to go red in the face. Jack laughed as he started to jog away from the sleigh, giving the twins and Star a high five as he went.
"Oh that's it Mr Mature, get your popsicle backside over here!" Bunny yelled as he jumped out of the sleigh and started to charge at Jack.
"See ya guys!" Jack yelled.
He laughed out loud as he used the current of wind give him a big boost and he flew up into the clear blue sky leaving a trail of snowflakes behind him. Bunny stopped chasing him as soon as he flew up as he knew that Jack couldn't be caught now. He looked up at Jack in the sky as he saw him flying about like crazy with the snowflakes zooming after him like a rocket. The students all cheered loudly and applauded, and some even jumped up and down, including Star. Ron waved his fists about, Hermione applauded while shaking her head in amusement, the twins cheered as loud as Star and finally, Neville and Harry clapped and cheered at a normal level.
North, Sandy and Tooth laughed as Bunny got back into the sleigh and had a huge frown on his face. "Show off!" Bunny shouted up at Jack. He couldn't keep the frown on long and soon, his frown spilt into a wide grin. North laughed too and he placed a hand on the Pooka's shoulder and Tooth smiled at Sandy. With a snap of the reins, the sleigh took off and was soon up in the sky with Jack.
Looking down one final time at his friends, he gave them a wave as he had He let out a whoop as he saw the giant Hogwarts crest he had formed in the sky with his snow. It made him wonder though. What happened to Pitch? Where is Voldemort now? Would they plan an attack? Jack shrugged it off as he flew higher into the sky. No matter what the situation, even if he was face to face with Voldemort or Pitch again, he knew that his friends would always have his back. He would always have theirs too.
And the curtains close…but wait! Did some of you pick up Star's gift? The cupakes to enable Jack to get to each one of them! What does that imply?
