Well well, I do hope you all enjoyed the day of surprises yesterday! If you didn't get to partake in the festivities, WORRY NOT, just go back about 2 chapters and start there! Also, to any of you that are wondering where surprise #3 is, it's in my Warm Hearts fanfic!~ I posted the 6th chapter after a 3 month hiatus! Ha, do enjoy if you haven't had the chance to read that one yet - it is one of my favorite stories!

Without further ado, here is my OQ April Fools OS. (All mistakes are mine as I am sure there will be, in my defense the idea only hit me a few hours ago and begged to be written!)

Ruffles

"MOOOMMMMM!"

Regina whipped down the stairs at the sound of her son yelling, holding onto the banister as she went to keep her upright, making her way rapid fire to the living room.

Rounding the corner she called back, "What is Henry?! Are you alright?"

There in the center of her living room was her 15 year old son, standing with his back to the door, a phone to his ear and a smile on his face.

"I'm fine, geesh," he said, taking in her flushed state. "Good to know you still come running when I call."

Regina huffed, realizing that her son was fine and not in an mortal peril at all, and she crossed her arms.

"What were you yelling for?" She asked, wondering if it was okay to ground her almost adult boy for scaring the living shit out of her.

"No reason," he shrugged, "Robin just called."

"Oh?" She said, her eyebrows raising. Maybe she wouldn't ground him after all.

"Yeah, he said he was excited to see you tonight."

At that Regina felt her eyes bulge. For the past few weeks Robin and her had been dating in secret, both agreeing that it was best to not let word get out that they were back together until they were sure that they was no one left out there wanting to separate them. She shuddered as the thought of her sister disguised as Robin's previously deceased wife flitted through her mind.

Shaking her head, she screwed her eyes shut, "Wait, what?" She began, trying to keep her voice at as normal of a level as she could muster as to not tip off her son at how alarmed she was. "We didn't plan anything for tonight? Did we?"

"Well he seems to think so," Henry stated, gesturing to the phone in his hands. "Oh, and he asked me to remind you to wear the red dress."

Regina's eyes flew open, "What?"

"Yeah, you know, the backless one that straps around-"

"I know which one," she said, cutting off her son before he went to much further into detail about a dress that she knew all too well. She spoke again before she could feel her cheeks begin to redden, "He said that?"

Henry snickered, "Yeah. He seems to be pretty fond of you in red, Mom."

At that Regina did blush, closing her eyes as she felt her cheeks alight with flames of pure embarrassment. She only opened them again when she heard her son speaking to her.

"Mom," he said, reaching out and grabbing a hold of her elbows, uncrossing her arms, "It's okay. I know you like him, and he seems crazy about you."

"Go on," Henry added, nodding his head before she could respond, signaling to the stairs behind her, "Go get dressed. I'll call him back and let him know that you're just running a few minutes late."

With that he pushed her a bit, turning her round by her arms and directing her towards the stairs that lead her back to her room. Regina made her way up, wondering when she had granted her son the ability to boss her around.

Fifteen minutes later she found herself standing downstairs in her entrance way, dressed in a pair of nude high heels, her hair down and curled lightly, lipstick on and coat in hand. She took one last look at herself, examining her reflection in the hallway mirror.

There were many reasons that Robin liked the dress that she had on. For starters, like her son has so adamantly pointed out, it was completely backless, which left no room for her to wear a bra under it - and Robin knew that. The slinky material also managed to cling to her front in such a way that her curves seemed aggrandized. It also helped that when she bought it she hadn't realized that it was a size smaller than what she normally wore, so it clung tightly to her ass, which Robin had said, on multiple occasions, was his favorite part of her body, after her eyes of course.

Regina scoffed, smirking to herself. She knew that was only partly true. He really did seem have a thing for her backside. Not that she minded though...

Pulling once more at the tight material, she straightened, hearing the sound of tires rolling up outside. Henry had said that Robin was going to be at the manor at half past 6 in order to drop off Roland, as he always did on Thursdays, and pick her up.

She quickly picked up her purse, which she had set down on the stairs, making sure that she had everything she needed inside of it. With Robin, she never knew what their dates would entail. Sometimes he would take her out and they would go deep in into the forest until they came upon a clearing and then he'd pull out a blanket and they'd sit there all night, staring up at the stars, talking about life. Other times, the moment that she was outside the door he would grab her by the waist and slam her against the frame, kissing her fiercely until she couldn't breath anymore and she'd have to remind him that both of their son's were still inside and could still very much hear them nevermind see them.

She felt a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she remembered how he had growled the last time she had done just that, before she had offered just to 'poof' them back to his place and skip dinner altogether. He had chosen that option without a moments hesitation.

Her phone buzzed as the sound of little footsteps running outside on the pavement reached her ears. She smiled, fishing it out of her purse.

When she flipped it open to see Robin's name on the 'new message' line her grin widened.

Hey, I hope you're ready for tonight because I'm about to knock on your door.

Regina laughed, quickly typing a response back.

Took you long enough, been waiting forever.

She smirked as she heard said knock on her door. Dropping her phone back in her purse she turned. As she grabbed the door handle she felt a small bolt of excitement course through her - she was so excited for tonight. She opened the door.

Her jaw fell open.

There, on her porch stood a little Roland, dressed in the dirtiest tee shirt she had ever seen with a pair of ripped jeans that she swore she had seen him waving on a flag no more than a month ago. Behind him was his father, decked in the same bedraggled attire.

"What the hell are you wearing?" She asked, shocked.

"What are you wearing?" Robin countered, his eyes scanning over her like he had no idea why she would be in a dress.

"What you asked me to," She stated.

"What I asked you to?"

"Yes-" she said, nodding her head, confused as to the perplexed look he was giving her. She was about to continue when she heard her son's voice from behind her.

"Robin, you made it! It took you forev- Wow, what are you wearing?"

"Henry!" Regina heard Roland screech.

Regina watched as the little curly haired boy shot off, projecting himself at her son, nearly toppling him as he jumped into his arms.

"Hey buddy, what are you wearing?" Henry asked as he caught the small boy, looking just as confused as she felt.

"Painting clothes!"

"What?" Henry asked.

"You said that Gina and Daddy were going on a paint tonight, so we're wearing our painting clothes!"

Regina had seen her son blush before, it was normally whenever he asked to go out and visit his new friend from school, Paige, but right now his face was turning beat red and the little oatmeal haired girl was nowhere to be found.

"A date Roland," he began, closing his eyes and shaking his head back and forth, "I said that they were going to go out on a date, not a paint, Ro."

"Ah," Regina heard Robin say calmly from the door frame as a white flash of fear shot straight through her, "Well that explains the odd phrasing."

"Wait, am I the only one that's still confused here?" She asked, noticing the look of understand that was donning on all of the faces of the men surrounding her.

It was her sons that she zoned in on at the end, noticing that he appeared to be the most guilty off the bunch; and then it hit her.

"You set this up, didn't you?" She stated, pointing at her boy who now looked like he had been caught red handed, stealing the last cookie from the jar. "Robin never called before did he? Why would you do that Henry?" She asked, now more confused than ever.

"April Fools?" He offered.

"Oh no you don't," she stated hearing Robin snickering from behind her and fighting the urge to turn around and smack him. "You know I don't do April Fools. What was this about?"

Henry sighed, readjusting Roland in his arms before deciding to set him down.

"Because, I thought it might be nice for you two to have a reason to stop pretending that you're not already seeing each other, and to be able to open up and admit that you're still in love and secretly back together and dating again." Henry stated with a maturity that was much older than his years.

Roland looked shocked, Regina was flabbergasted and Robin was smiling.

It took a good minute before she could think again enough to speak.

"We-uh, we're not... we're not dating-" she tried but Robin cut her off.

"Oh why don't we just give it up." He said, turning her to him. "Yes, Henry I am still in love with your mother, and yes, we have been going on dates secretly for the past week. Can you forgive us for not telling you sooner?"

Henry nodded, whispering a 'more like past few weeks,' under his breath before turning to pick up Roland again.

Robin chuckled, a little bit proudly if not slightly ashamed at being caught in his lie.

"Well then," he said as he took a step back, letting his eyes scan over Regina.

"It looks to me like I am drastically under-dressed," He stated, his eyes scanning up her figure slowly, "What do you say we stop off at my place for a moment before our date tonight, hmm?"

"Wait, what?" Regina asked, whipping her head around just in time to see Robin's irises darkening as he studied her.

"We're going out?" She asked, confused, feeling heat rise up in her body from his gaze and clamping it down.

"Why not, you're already dressed, why waste such a beautiful opportunity."

Regina blushed.

"But what about Roland?" she asked.

"He's got Henry," Robin said, nodding towards the two boys, "Besides, he was more excited to paint then I was, so they already have something that they can do."

Regina heard Roland cheer from behind her and she saw Henry sigh and then nod once, knowing that there was a whole half of the back yard fence that was still missing it's second coat.

She felt Robin's strong arms wrap around her waist, trying to pull her out of the house but she was still unable to process the fact her son had just orchestrated what was to be the worst April Fool's prank in history, just to get her to admit that she was still in dating, and in love with, her former lover and soul mate.

She felt a lick of pride swell up in her chest and threaten to overcome her. Turning she looked at her son one last time.

"How did you find out?" She asked inquisitively.

"Well," Henry responded, sharing a knowing look with the little boy in his arms, which on a normal day, would have made her heart melt, however right now it made her stomach turn from the anxiety, before he turned back to her, "you're not really that good at being quite."

Regina felt her mouth drop open as she blushed profusely, her face turning the exact shade of her blood red dress. She turned back, unable to meet her son's knowing gaze, catching Robin's complexion which was mirroring the same lovely shade as her's.

"Oh." She whispered, mentally calculating how many thousands of dollars it was going to cost her to put her son in specialized theraphy since there was no way in hell she was going to send him to Archie and let that cricket know that she had mentally scared her son by letting him hear her and Robin going at it!

"Yeah," Roland chimed in a moment later, "We've heard your late night phone calls during our sleepovers. Don't you know you're supposed to whisper if you want to keep things a secret, Daddy?"

"Our phone calls?" Robin asked, perplexed.

"Yeah," Roland said, nodding resolutely.

Robin looked utterly at a loss as he jumped backwards.

"Ouch!" He exclaimed, feeling her elbow colliding with his side. "What was that-" he began but she cut him off with a look. Raising her eyebrows she tilted her head in the direction of her bedroom upstairs.

"Oh..." Robin said, "Oh!"

If possible, his face got brighter as the red deepened, finally understanding just what their son's had over heard.

Regina took in a deep breath, trying to think of the proper thing to say but, luckily for her, Roland spoke first, saving her the trouble of embarrassing herself further by trying to come up with some lame excuse. No Henry, Robin and I weren't having loud, hot, totally crazy, I've missed-you-so-fucking-much-that-i-need-you-now sex, all night, and up until the wee hours of the morning while we were supposed to be 'having a sleep over'... No, we were just... having very loud phone calls... at 2 in the morning... that involved name calling... and a whole lot of accidental 'f' words... oh fuck.

"Henry I wanna go paint!" The little boy said, pulling her back from her thoughts as she spotted him tugging on the collar of her son's shirt.

"Okay Ro," Henry replied, setting Roland down, "But first don't you think we should wish Mom and Robin a goodnight and good luck on their date?"

Roland whipped around, "Goodnight, good luck on your date!" He yelled before spinning back, pulling Henry along with him.

"Well..." Robin said after the two boys disappeared around the corner of the kitchen, "That was awkward."

"I'll say."

Robin exhaled, letting out a loud breath before continuing. "Shall we proceed then, M'lady?"

"Lead the way."

It was no more the five minutes later when Regina found herself pulled over, and parked on the side of the road, one street and two block away from her house, with her seat belt off, seat leaned back and Robin's warm breath on her neck.

"I've missed you," She heard him say through rough nibbles that got harder and more pronounced with every word.

"You just saw me two days ago," She smirked, sighing as she relished in his solid form atop of hers.

"Two days too long," He said, taking a moment to worship the spot behind her ear that he knew drove her wild.

"Ah!" Regina gasped before she moaned, feeling his hands slide up her sides, one finding purchase behind her back, the other cupping her breast and squeezing gently.

"Robin," she said again, not completely sure why exactly she was trying to divert his attention.

"Yes?"

"I-uh-oh!" He squeezed harder, sucking once on her earlobe before leaning back, removing his weight from her.

She huffed as she felt his warmth leaving her.

"You look so sexy in that," she heard him said. His voice was filled with lust and Regina opened her eyes just in time to find him sitting above her, hunched over slightly due to his back leaning against awkwardly the dashboard of the small car, blue eyes darkening as they stared at her outfit from underneath heavy lids.

"You should see my underwear."

Regina watched as Robin raised one brow before shooting a hand underneath her skirt and right in between her legs. She smirked as he gasped, finding nothing but warm skin.

"Wait-" he began but she cut him off.

"April Fools!"
