Chapter 4...
Jack sat up really fast with a heavy coat of sweat on his face
Jack was breathing really hard as he was remembering all that happened last night
His mom crying at dinner and dad taking pursuit after her then he went to the garage to find that an old scary looking man was waiting for him with a contract and that jack possibly saved his dads life by trading... his soul.
Jack stepped out of bed and grabbed a fresh pair of clothing for the day of school and headed to the bathroom to go take a shower.
"I'm picking you up from school again today jack" Robert said right as jack walked into the bathroom.
jack poked his head back out the door" Dad it's fine, i can just get a ride from Vince. you can stay home and relax"
" I don't need to relax jack. actually i feel like all my cancer problems will be gone for good soon. Its the strangest thought, huh?" Robert said in a happy delighted voice.
"ok then dad" jack said in a happy and shocking voice
As jack was taking a shower all he could think about was what the old man said last night
"your father's cancer with be cured and all of his cancer problems will be gone for good"
Jack finished up in the shower dried off and went to the kitchen to eat breakfast before school.

Jack sat down on the curb in front of the school at the end of the day.
he was so in thought about his dad he didn't realize that Vince sat down next to him
"He Darby you there" Vince said in a happy voice hoping to cheer him up a little.
"Oh hey Vince" Jack said in a gloomy voice
"Jack, I heard about your dad. Im sorry,man. no-one should have to go through that. And if you and your mom need any help or anything then please let me or any of my family know" Vince said with a helpful and confident tone in his voice.
"Thanks, that really means a lot" jack said as he looked at Vince with a big thank you in his eyes
"No problem, so uhh who's picking you up?" Vince asked curious
"My dad, he said he feels a lot better today. You?" jack asked
"My mom is" Vince said and right as he said that he saw his mom at an intersection down the street at a stop light
Right as Vince saw his mom jack saw his dad on his motorcycle coming the other direction
Jack stood up to wave but right as he did he saw the old man from last night apear from the ground right in front of where Robert was driving.
Robert swerved left into the other lane to dodge the man in the street
But as soon as he entered the other lane Vince's mom was right in front of took a right turn this time to try and dodge the car.
Robert turned but not enough.
He slammed into the side of her car which caused him to go flying through the air. The bike flew in the air with him.
Robert landed on his helmet shattering the visor and the bike landed on top of him.
The impact from the bike hitting the car caused Vince's mom to slam her head against the car window shattering it and killing her on impact
Jack and Vince both watched in horror.
They both on sync ran to their parents.
"DAD! NO!" Jack yelled running up to his dad and pulling the bike off of him
"Dad stay with me you can make it" Jack said with tears running down his face
Robert had blood running down his face from the open part of his helmet.
"Ja.. Jack.. your the... man of the ... house now... take care... of your mother" Robert said as he closed his eyes and breathed his last breath.
"DAD NOOOOOOOO!"...
A/N: Its been so long! It felt good writing this one, it feels good to be somewhat back. The person with the Guest name "Secret" if your reading this,thanks for the advice and hopefully you make an account so i can thank you sooner. As always guys leave a review if you have advice for me, it's always appreciated. And yes still a lot of the things are the same or close to the same a Rapid's but im telling you guys it's going to get a hell of a lot different, just be a little patient please.
