The atmosphere around him is very creepy than the last time he is here in Ikebukuro, everything is too quiet as he continue to walk. It somehow remind him of a movie when the main character is trying and living things other than himself in this abandon world, where he thought he is the only survivor left after that mysterious virus suddenly spread and his the only one unaffected.

What is the name of the movie again?

"I shouldn't be really thinking about that now." He said to himself.

Then he continue to walk and feel the strong wind blowing toward his face making him shiver, why the hell is he dress like this in the first place? His skin is expose and let everyone sees almost his entire body which is very embarrassing, suddenly he can just imagine Kida reaction if he sees him like this.

Anyway . . . what does Izaya meant by not trying to get killed in an abandon city that is only filling with 20 winners from the first level?

"Is something going to happen?"

The sound of his footstep is light when he step on the solid ground,

It was then he heard a loud scream coming from in front of him, he simply just stand there when the building in front of him suddenly make a huge hole and pile of smoke come out from nowhere not giving him a proper sight of what just happen. His heart continues to beat in excitement wanting to know what's going to happen next. Unconsciously his hand move to his back and pull out a knife.

He is smiling even though he is afraid. Now he is certain that he start to change slowly to someone else, to someone that he once forgot. Is this a good thing?

'Izaya . . . I miss you.'

How long has it been since he last seen his brother?

The last time he met Shizuo is before he was offer another main role for a movie, nobody knows how much he wants to throw the offer away and torn it apart since it keep taking his precious time with his brother. It saddens him to always e separate with Shizuo now and then, will the time ever come when he can be with his brother forever and never have to be separate ever again.

He loves his brother.

He is the only one that truly loves him with all his heart.

The scythe continue making annoying sound as it was drag by its new owner known as Kasuka, Shizuo little brother that is known well as famous actor. His black hair is something he is very proud of since Shizuo once say to him that his hair cut match his face rather well so he keep this hairstyle for over 5 years already.

"Nii san." He whispers.

He still remember the time when Shizuo suddenly calls him out of the bloom which surprise him since Shizuo never calls him thinking he doesn't want to burden him any longer. A laugh escapes from his lips. 'Brother, no matter how much time has passes you will never become a burden for me.' He expects his brother to call him and asks how he is doing but when he suddenly requests him not to come to Ikebukuro his suspicions rises.

Since they have been together for a long time he can tell well that his brother is worried about something, hopefully it has nothing to do with Izaya since that informant always mess up with his brother life. If killing is not a crime he would have kill that god complex a long time ago so his brother can finally live in peace with him.

But his brother never thinks of him than a family doesn't he?

"Where is he?" He asks with a blank face.

Due to his curiosity he went to trip to Ikebukuro after his brother call him not to, by the time he arrive he finds it weird not to hear his brother destroy stuff as he chase the flee and find many gang in color are grouping as if they are waiting for something as they keep staring at their phone with an amusing smile. It was just a coincidence when he turn on his phone and click on the newest news in the city.

When a question pop up whether he would like to join in the game make him wonder what kind of game it is, thinking it will cause him no harm so he click 'yes' and has become one of those people who has take part in the game.

A few hours after that he feel the ground start shaking and a huge wall appear in front of him, due to shock his legs can't move as the wall continue to get taller until it is high enough that even a helicopter can't pass it. He witness few people manage to get over the wall before it get high enough, he was glad he didn't try to escape when he hears people screaming from the outside and multiply gunshots.

It will be a lie if he says he wasn't afraid.

In this situation nobody cares whether you're popular or not as long they get to save their life. When Izaya announce they have to fight each other to survive he feel angry, who does this man think he is to control them against their will.

At that moment all he thinks is to find his brother and escape from this hell.

"Nii san, where are you?"

He now holds the scythe with his two hands examines it closely, the design is a bit different from Celty scythe but at least he can use it if an enemy attacks.

"This time I shall be the one to protect you." Kasuka swears.

"20 participants."

Kida look at his hands and fold one of it. "Mikado." He said. He repeats the same action as he says the name of the participants that might be in this level. "Myself, Shizuo, Kadota, Celty, those twins and 14 others." He said out loud before putting his hand back into the pocket. "That is the only name I can predict that Izaya wants to be in the level 2."

If anyone wondering why he can still stay calm in this situation is because he kind of has enough experience for Izaya continuous surprise that always come out from nowhere. Well, he did know that man since he first become the leader of the Yellow Scarves and if he correct he has already quit being the leader and join the dollar after his former girlfriend got hurt because of rivalry.

After that day he refuse to see the girl ever again and thought of starting a new life so when one day he receive a call from Mikado parents telling him Mikado will go to the same high school as him make him the happiest guy in the world. It makes him remember his long time crush he has toward his best friend and for Mikado to come to Ikebukuro means that he can finally get a new life.

No more gangs and fighting ever again.

He loves Mikado, he really does. So he has to win this game as soon as possible and save Mikado, if possible he wants to save his comrade as well.

"Why does Izaya make this game anyway? Anyway why did he put us in sleep for three months just to fix this broken city anyway?"

There are too many questions.

And there are too many answers that haven't been given to him yet.

It feels like someone is laughing at him now for even asking it in the first place, is this the sign Izaya is mocking him as he watch his movement. If he really is watching than he might as well show he is not the type to give up and especially the part of his feelings. He won't hand Mikado over to Izaya no matter what; he will even sacrifice his life to prevent it from happening.

"Let see who will the one that will win in the end."

He won't let himself die just yet even if someone has jump from above gripping swords in each of her hand and swing it toward him. Since him already an experience fighter quickly Kida dodge it before his back hit the building behind him.

"Hey, a girl shouldn't fight like that." He teases when he looks up.

It surprise him a bit to see the girl is wearing a wedding dress that half way reaches her ankle letting her to move fast despite that the dress looks heavy for her. She has a sharp glare on her eyes once their eyes met and there are few drops of dry blood already on her clothes which he suspect is just some decoration that Izaya think that will suit her.

"Where is he?" The girl asks.

"Who?"

"WHERE IS SEIJI?" She screams like crazy before attacking him once more.

[It's you!] The mysterious rider with yellow helmet covering her face quickly types on her PDA before pointing it at his face.

"Do I know you?" Mikado asks.

Celty stare at him closely before she get off from her motorcycle, for a woman she sure have a nice figure which makes normal guy drool or nosebleed but since he is not normal all he wants is to see what's inside that helmet.

[I guess since this is the first time you see from this distance, you hardly recognize me didn't you?]

Why didn't she speak, isn't it easier than wasting her time typing on that PDA?

"Wait the minute." Mikado points at her face (More like helmet) with his finger. "Are you that headless rider?" He asks.

When Celty take off the helmet all she can see is Mikado is sparkle which she find quite amusing since normally people would be screaming and ran away in fear seeing her like this. There has to be another reason Izaya choose this boy as his queen, right? This boy seems too ordinary for her.

[Mikado.]

'How did she know my name?'

Then she starts to type again on her PDA, Mikado tries to lean forward to read what she is typing but when he sees her finger hesitates make him curious. Despite the anxious feeling he had, he decides to mind his manner and wait for her to finish on what she is going to say to him. When his eyes look up it amazes him to see the black smoke coming out from her neck, what kind of immortal should he calls her since there is no way a human can live without head. Can't they?

[You have to help me to kill Izaya.]

It was then Mikado gasp in shock.
