Chapter 27 – Cowboy Tunes

Sam wandered through the MOL bunker, whistling. He looked really good today, all long, lean and lanky, with his hands stuffed in his pockets and his long, shiny hair cascading out from under a white cowboy hat.

Dean did a little double take on the cowboy hat and the whistled tune, which sounded like something he should know. It was familiar but just nibbled at the edges of his memory.

"Hey, cowboy," Dean smiled. "What's that song?'

Sam smiled back at his lover." Come on, Dean. You know this song. It's The Red River Valley."

"Oh, yeah," Dean swing his arm up on the back of the couch and dropped his head back on the cushion. He sent his brother a sloe-eyed glance, trying to entice Sam closer.

Sam put his hands on the back of the couch and leaned over to steal a kiss. "Name me the cowboy who sang that song and Get Along Little Doggies and Home on the Range and I'll give you a prize.

"The prize better not be another horse ride. The last one almost did me in. I was saddle sore for days," Dean grinned.

Sam went from Dean's lips to his neck and tongued a long wet swipe from his brother's collarbone to his ear; Dean shivered and moaned.

Sam whispered, "That's my boy, Don't Fence Me In"

Dean smiled up at his lover, I'll do you one better." He pulled Sam's head in and repaid the favor with a long lick to his neck then tongued his ear and whispered:

"Happy Trails to You."
