"It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity moves. When you see her, suddenly it's not the earth holding you here anymore. She does."

Bella hopped up and looked around her room. She checked the clock and groaned. "What?"

She closed her eyes and ran her fingers through her hair.

You wont be Bella anymore. My friend wont exist...You'd be better off dead. I rather you were." Jacobs voice echoed in her mind.

She shook her head and hit the bed board, Charlie opened the door slowly. "You okay , Bells?"

"You'll always be my Bella, you'll just be a little more durable" Edwards voice slid in.

"Dad!" Bella reached for him and tried to hold her head. Charlie gripped her hand. " Bells?!"

She slowly looked at him and frowned. "I- I was hearing voices."

He raised an eyebrow. "Do you think you need to go to the hospital?" He said pulling her into a sitting position.

She shook her head. "When did I get home? It was yesterday last I remember."

"Jacob carried you home it was a sight I never wanted to see again."

"I'm sorry, dad."

He nodded and fiddled with his belt. " I don't have to go to work if you need me."

Bella stood and chuckled. "No um its fine. That was all just very weird."

"You sure? Its no big deal."

"The people need you." She smiled and slowly pushed him out the door.

"I love you, Bells."

"Love you too, dad."

She waited then walked to the window and watched the police car pull off. She nodded to herself then frowned.

She walked over to the phone and dialed Jacobs number.

"Heyo?"

"I need to talk to you asap"

"Whats-"

She hung up and sighed. "Please don't be real."

She showered and headed downstairs to make breakfast when she heard a knock at the door.

She opened it and Jacob came panting in. "Are you okay? Don't do that to me, you don't know half the thoughts that rushed into my head."

"Where exactly do you fit into all this, Jacob?"

He paused and cocked his head. " What? Bella are you feeling okay?"

"You'd be better off dead, I rather you were?" She said through clenched teeth.

"Your memory!...Damn your memory." The words sunk in. "Bella its not like that."

"Why would you said that?!"

Jacob backed up a bit. " I need you to remember more than just that part, Bella."

"Why did you say that?" She said, confusion and pain flowing on her face.

"You wanted to become a leech, I didn't know what else to say."

She rushed at him and pushed him back. "You're no better than Edward."

Jacob turned his head. " Bella I know you're upset but please hear me out."

"When did you say that to her?" They both jumped and turned to the door. Paul stood in the doorway eyes going back and forth between the two.

"Damn it, Paul. Now you show up." Jacob said moving away from the door.

"I said when did you say that to her?" He said in a low voice.

"A while ago but okay hear me out, she was ranting about Edward changing her and you didn't give two-"

"Don't finish that."

Jacob groaned in frustration. "You two are really perfect for each other. Sucks it might all go away as soon as you imprint, Paul it really does."

"What?" Bella said now taking a step forward.

Paul glared at Jacob then looked at Bella. "I don't want anyone but you."

Jacob scoffed. "Loving Bella without loving her, its complicated and I'm seeing that now. We don't have a say in who we love!"

Paul touched Bella's face. " I'm sorry."

She grabbed his hand. " So what i'ma be alone?"

He pulled her close and kissed her cheek. " I will always be there for you."

He looked at Jacob and ran out, Jacob sighed and gave an apologetic look and ran out as well.

Bella frowned and touched her cheek. "And I am going to hold you to that."
