Ok everyone… I have no words to express how sorry I am about the wait…
With writer's block, school, school and my life outside of my okatu one (no matter how small it is) have been keeping me away from my story! My baby!
Anyways, thank you all so much for sticking with me and a super special thanks to all of you who reviewed! Thank you, thank you thank you! You all have no idea how much your words meant to me! Ok now then, onwards!
Dr. John walked over to Falcon and undid the straps holding her. She sat up and pulled her knees up to her chest. Resting her forehead on her knees, she continued to cry.
The doctor put his hand on her shoulder.
She looked up at him with eyes filled with despair. "I- I can't do it. I can't do it anymore," she said through her tears.
"Yes you can," he replied softly.
"But I don't want to."
"You have to. For your parents and for your brother. Do it for Talon."
She nodded, her face set with determination, "Can we go?" she asked.
"Of course," he replied and handed her a new set of clothes. She changed quickly, ignoring the host club's stares.
"What about your friends?" Dr. John gestured to the hosts.
"They might as well come," she walked out of the room with her doctor following. The boys and girl trailed after. They all walked along a hallway with Falcon in the lead.
"Where are we going?" Tamaki asked.
"To visit my brother," Falcon replied.
The rest of the walk was silent. Finally they approached a door and Falcon entered. Dr. John followed after her. The hosts crowded around the door, peering in at Falcon's elusive brother.
On a hospital bed lay a boy who looked about a year older than Falcon. He had the same brown hair as Falcon but it was shorter and hung limply around his incredibly pale face. His eyes were closed and he didn't seem to be moving. A faint beeping came from the nearby monitor, marking a heartbeat that was way too slow to be healthy.
"Hey Tal," Falcon said softly as she grabbed the boy's hand, "I had the dream again. I just can't get it out of my head. I've been trying for two years now. I miss you. Nek does too. I do have some good news though. I saved the girl. I was right, they were targeting her. I'm glad I stopped him. I think that's everything." She gave him a light hug. "I promise I'll keep the family record. I won't fail. I'll be back. Hang in there." With those words she straightened up and took a few steps back. She then made some clicking noises with her mouth.
The shocked hosts looked at Doctor John for an explanation.
"Her brother was wounded in action two years ago. He's still in a coma. He's woken up twice since then but other than that it's been nothing," he explained quietly, "As for the clicking noise, Falcon and her brother learned Morse code. When they need to say something private, they either tap it out or click it out. She always says the same thing when she leaves her brother: Goodbye. I love you too."
Falcon turned around and faced the hosts.
"I'm sorry Liz-chan!" Honey wailed, throwing himself on her.
She patted his head softly, "It's ok. And please call me Falcon," she looked up at Kyoya, "that is my real name after all." Her eyes met each of the hosts, "I'm sorry I had to lie to you. I'll explain everything in a little bit."
The hosts wanted to be mad at her. But they just couldn't find it in them. Not in front of her brother who lay helplessly on the hospital bed beside her. Everyone except Kyoya and Mori pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you for the hug," Falcon smiled lightly, "But, now let's go somewhere more private so I can explain everything."
Dr. John dropped them off outside a tall building. Falcon walked up to the door. The two men standing guard both nodded their heads to her. She nodded back. They all went inside.
She led them to an elevator. She scanned her hand and her eye and the doors opened immediately. Once they were all inside, she pressed one of the buttons.
Instead of going up, like all the hosts were expecting, they went down.
Seeing their surprised faces, Falcon grinned, "This building's pretty big."
After a few more seconds, the doors opened. Falcon walked out and went up to one of the doors. She scanned her hand and eye again then walked in.
The hosts followed her into an office area. There was a desk in the front and every single wall was covered with bookshelves. Falcon shut the door, revealing a bookshelf on the back of the door too.
She looked up at them, "One minute, please," then tapped her earpiece.
"Agent?"
"I arrived with the others."
"Good."
"What do I tell them?"
"Tell them what they should know."
"Yes sir."
"What are your findings?"
"The attacker was definitely after them. I led him away from their room. He was probably going to strike when it ended and she walked out the door."
"I see... And the student?"
"It wasn't him. His boss is getting impatient."
"What do you think their connection is?"
"Well there are three possibilities. He could be doing it for money, he could be blackmailed, or he could be a family member."
"What's your theory?"
"I believe he's being paid. If it was anything else he wouldn't take so long. Will you look for someone who either recently got a brand new bank account or is getting a steady stream of money from someone other than their parent?"
"Yes. I will send you the results right away."
"Thank you, sir."
"You're welcome."
She tapped her earpiece again and went over to the far wall. She pulled a cleverly concealed handle and the bookshelf opened to reveal a metal door.
She turned to the hosts. "I'm only going to explain this once so come with me if you want to hear it." Going back to the door, she scanned her hand and eye once more and the door swung open. Falcon walked inside and the hosts followed, hoping that behind this door were the answers that they craved.
Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I did it! Yessssss! And Talon sounds really hot… Idk… He just does… Even though I was the one who made him.
Whatever!
Fun Fact about Falcon and Talon:
Both of the siblings have an extremely high pain tolerance, explaining why Falcon didn't even bat an eyelash when she was stabbed.
I hope you all enjoyed - And I hope I can stay on track with this story
See you all next time!
