His King chapter three: Idle Chit Chat

The young earl of the Phantomhive estate was busily preparing for the ball, with Elizabeth helping him out; althought she was happily rambling on and on about the ball like no tomorrow. Ciel wasn't really paying attention. His mind was set on one person, his gardener. Finny.

"So adorable...Roses everywhere...Lots of people...Ciel? Are you listening?" Elizabeth asked when she realized Ciel wasn't paying attention.

"Hm? Oh I'm sorry...What was that?"

" You weren't paying attention were you?" Elizabeth asked.

Ciel sighed, he was a bit annoyed. "No. I wasn't." Ciel looked out the window to notice Finny. Finny was working harder then usual. Ciel could tell Finny was exhausted. "Excuse me for a moment Elizabeth."

Ciel made his way to the outside of the manor, to the garden. "Finny?"

Finny gasped and stood up straight. "Y- Young Master!"

"I believe your working yourself too hard Finny. Your exhausted, take a break."

"B-B-But the garden must look perfect for the ball!" Finny protested.

"It looks fine as it is Finny, trust me. Take a break. Go for a walk around town or something." Ciel said, adding on "That's an order, Finny"

Knowing Finny had lost that battle he gave up and sighed. "Yes young master." Finny replied. He could have sworn Ciel had smiled there for a minute.

"Good. Now go get changed, those clothes reak of sweat from you working too hard."

"Yes master." Finny said, not wanting to anger Ciel, he went to change his clothes. Finny's heart was racing so fast. He did admit he was quite tired. Finny quickly changed into a white shirt with a brown vest and a red tie. He then changed into a pair of brown pants and left to go for a walk around the town, or at least around the block.

He sighed lightly, he hated this feeling. Liking the Young Master but...The Young Master was engaged! It just wasn't fair...
