Chapter Two
Ino watched Sakura fidget with wide eyes, there was no way she heard that right. "I'm sorry, can you repeat that, I swear I thought I heard you tell me your pregnant."
Sakura gave a choked sob, her hands covering her face, and Ino felt the dread well up in her bones. Her own eyes started to water, her breathe hitched, she reached out with shaking arms and gripped Sakura to her tight. "It's okay. I'm here."
It was all she could say for the next two hours.
Morning came abruptly. Ino didn't remember falling asleep, she didn't even feel like she slept at all, but her eyes were opening and the bright morning sun was laughing at her. Sakura was curled up in her lap still sleeping.
