"Itachi Uchiha!" Naruto said getting ready for a fight.

'T-that's Itachi Uchiha' Sakura thought.

"That's him? The kid who wiped out his entire clan" granny said looking at Itachi

"It's been a long time, Kakashi, Naruto!" Said Itachi maintaining his calm.

'The same sharingan as Sasuke.. this is the man that made Naruto and Sasuke suffer' Sakura was thinking this the whole time.

"YOU RUNT! Not just me but Gaara too!" Naruto said looking at Itachi Uchiha with angry look.

Itachi maintaining his calm, just raised his hands and formed a ram sign.

"Everyone, don't look into his eyes or you'll be finished" Kakashi informed everyone "it's his mangekyou sharingan, he wields a strong genjutsu. It's a visual jutsu, as long as your eyes don't meet his you'll be safe"

"I know that" said granny.

"But then how are we supposed to fight him?" Asked Sakura.

"Anticipate his moves by his body movements" Naruto answered.

"The Uchiha clan, it's been a long time, since I fought a sharingan user. They are nothing special though. There are plenty of ways to fight eye techniques" granny said out of her experience.

"So how do we do it" asked Sakura.

"If it's one-on-one, you run. If it's two-on-one get him from behind. One distracts him and the other attacks him from his blind spot" granny said looking at Itachi Uchiha.

'Now who will be the one who will distracte him?' Sakura was thinking about every possibilities 'I'm a medic so it's out of question, lady Chiyo is old and unwise option, if Kakashi sensei becomes a distraction I don't suppose Naruto, myself and lady Chiyo will be able to get him, that leaves us only one option' "Ok Naruto, you attack him and-" Sakura was ordering Naruto but was cutoff by Kakashi.

"No don't even think of it"

"Are you saying my tactics for fighting sharingan are wrong?"

"No! they are fine but what Itachi has is bit more complicated." Kakashi explained

"And what's that?" Demanded Chiyo.

"He uses mangekyou sharingan, an eye that is far more powerful than ordinary sharingan. You suffer the full effect of the sharingan in an instant you are caught. In other words, while it seems only a second to everyone else, it feels hours or days to the person caught in genjutsu. I was lost in his phantom world for three days and ended up unconscious for a week. Dispelling his technique isn't possible" Kakashi explained to everyone "he's a dangerous opponent"

"Just how strong is he?" Asked granny.

"Impressive Kakashi, you learned so much from just one encounter with my Tsukuyomi."

"I'm not done yet. After using that technique you were fatigued and retreated immediately" said Kakashi "besides using large amount of chakra, using that technique possess a huge risk to your eyes. Right Itachi?"

"An impressive analysis for having seen it only once."

"Itachi... how bad has your eyesight become?" Asked Kakashi

On hearing Kakashi's question Itachi was shocked "Kakashi you couldn't have"

"Well, I may have let my guard down last time but I'm not an idiot. Things will be different this time" Kakashi said relaxing everyone around him. "Naruto I'll take him."

'Just like the last time' Naruto remembered the time when they fought to protect Tazuna "Kakashi sensei, the guy in front of us is too strong, you can't hope to take him down all alone"

"I know that. I'd like to act cool and say 'go ahead' but I won't be able to hold him here. I want you to back me up" Kakashi said bit was waiting for Itachi to make a move.

"Naruto it's time you come with me " Itachi said pointing at Naruto.

"I'll go first" Kakashi said and charged towards Itachi and tried to punch him but he block his fist with right hand and a clone charged towards the group.

As the clone came closer to the group, it punched Naruto but he just blocked and kicked, dispelling the clone in smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Kakashi Sakura and lady Chiyo were down as if being hit by someone.

"Itachi stop this child's play! I'm here to ask you something"

"So you saw through my genjutsu. Impressive" Itachi said standing in front of him. All the area was covered by ravens created by Itachi's genjutsu.

"I purposely got caught because I wanted to ask you something in person"

"And what would that be?"

"Well I can see that you are strong, even stronger than lord Jiraiya. You could've caught me last time only, but you didn't do so, why?" Naruto asked Itachi.

"And what makes you say that?" Asked Itachi

"When you were fighting pervy sage, I observed you. Every attack of yours that was fatal, was missed. Even your black flames weren't able to get him"

"Hn.." Itachi let out in rejection

"I know about your mangekyou sharingan. Tsukuyomi and Amatarasu"

"What ? How do you know this" Itachi was shocked and demanded an explanation

"I observed you even while fighting Kisame. Amatarasu are the black flames that burns everything, and everything you see catches fire and there's no way you could have missed an attack on pervy sage unless it wasn't intended for him"

"People live in this world believing what they see not knowing the reality behind the scene" Itachi said

"Then tell me Itachi, why did did you let me go not just one time but two times"

"You know more than what you are supposed to know. Enough now, I can't use my mangekyou sharingan but don't worry you'll not get past me" with this being said, Itachi made a hand seal and all the ravens started turning into shurikens and attacking Naruto.

"As I said before, I came here to speak, so I purposely got caught but don't take me for a fool Itachi, I'm not a kid anymore" Naruto said and formed a ram seal "RELEASE"

In reality..

"You've matured Naruto" said Itachi and started performing hand seals, Naruto dashed towards Itachi but before he could reach, Itachi executed his jutsu "Fire style: phoenix flower jutsu". There was a barrage of small fire balls towards Naruto but not even single one of them could hit Naruto.

"He dodged it! He's fast, I cant keep a track of him" said Sakura being shocked by Naruto's speed.

Naruto landed in between group and Itachi. Seeing Naruto jumping alone, Kakashi also dashed towards Itachi. Noticing Kakashi running in his direction, Itachi again formed hand seals. Knowing what Itachi might do, Naruto too started forming hand seals to counterattack his jutsu.

"Fire style: fire ball jutsu"with that Itachi fired a fire ball

"Wind style: blade wind hurricane" Naruto shouted raising his hands in front. The surrounding air started blowing and gathering in front of his hands. Then a pressure wind hurricane of wide radius fired towards the fire ball with great speed.

When the two jutsus collided, the intensity of fire ball increased as blowing wind only increases flame intensity but instead of moving towards Naruto, explosion was directed towards Itachi with some speed.

"Water style: water vortex jutsu" Itachi quickly performed a technique to counteract but the intensity of the fire ball was too much and water just evaporated. the fire ball met with Itachi and exploded.

Naruto then put his hands down and jutsu died

"Something's wrong!"

"Did he get him?" Sakura asked standing behind.

Itachi reappeared behind Naruto "that was good move, Naruto!"

"Why you!" Naruto got angry and swinging his hand, Naruto directed his fist sideways to punch Itachi. Blocking Naruto's attack by left hand, Itachi used his other hand to punch Naruto. Naruto took a direct hit and was pushed backwards, when he was about to fall, Itachi kicked him sending him across the field in opposite direction to where rest 3 were standing.

"Naruto!" Sakura screamed just as Naruto was hit.

Itachi was observing Naruto skid, across the field, then suddenly there was a sound of electric spark like chirping of birds.

"Lightning blade" Kakashi attacked coming from behind with his signature jutsu in his hand, ready to poke Itachi with. When Kakashi was close enough to Itachi, he directed his lightning blade to Itachi's vital spot but he jumped sideways in air to avoid it.

Naruto came from above to attack Itachi with Rasengan in his hand. It was a direct hit and as both of them landed there was a explosion.

"Naruto!" Sakura again called for Naruto as she saw blast engulfed Itachi and Naruto.

After the explosion died and dust cleared, one can see Naruto standing and in front of him was Itachi. They both were separated by a explosion crater.

'His eyes are the real problem.. he can see every move that I'm going to make before I even make it and counteract it.. this means I need to be more fast'

"That was a good one but you won't get anywhere near to me with that speed"

"It's not like you to underestimate your opponents" taunted Naruto

"..." Itachi was just looking at Naruto with plain and calm expression.

Kakashi jumped form his position to Naruto's side "that was a good move Naruto. Let's finish him this time"

"Alright! Let's go then" Naruto charged at Itachi head on showering punches and kicks on him. Itachi was able to block them and was fighting back too. Itachi punched Naruto which he blocked and turning his hand over Itachi's hand a little, Naruto caught Itachi's right hand by his left one. He then punched Itachi with his other hand directing blow on his face but Itachi bent down a little to evade the attack because he couldn't move freely as his right hand was arrested by Naruto. When Itachi tilted, the fist passed through the space over the right shoulder of Itachi's. Using this as opportunity, Naruto grabbed Itachi by neck and locked him in the same position.

Itachi didn't even try the genjutsu cause he was well aware that it wouldn't affect Naruto and he wasn't able to use his mangekyou sharingan so Tsukuyomi was out of question.

"Kakashi sensei attack him straight through me!" Naruto shouted.

On hearing this, Kakashi formed another lightning blade in his hands and attacked the duo while granny Chiyo and Sakura were hiding in forest.

As the attack was about to touch Naruto, he jumped out of the way and reappeared behind Kakashi 'Naruto that was fast.. I didn't have to slow down for you to move out of the way' The attack went straight at Itachi and poked him through his chest. Itachi coughed blood and said " that was a good combination of moves but..." then Itachi smiled and puffed out of existence revealing that one was a shadow clone.

"Argh.. This is getting on long enough, I don't have any time to waste here" Naruto said out in frustration "fuck this deception..! I'm going on all out" he formed the ram seal and started releasing his chakra.

"So... finally you're getting serious!" Itachi said standing in front of the duo several feet away.

"Shadow clone jutsu" and two clones of Naruto appeared.

"Get ready Itachi" and with that Naruto charged towards Itachi, kicking and punching him with great speed, Itachi was barely managing to block, attacking was out of question.

'It seems that Itachi know more about Naruto than me.. something's gonna happen' Kakashi was thinking about what Itachi said 'getting serious'. As Naruto dashed towards Itachi, Kakashi was shocked 'what's with that speed of attacking.. that's too much even for a jounin.. I can barely keep a track of him'

Naruto punched Itachi which he blocked but then he side kicked him. Another clone was standing there waiting for Itachi. Clone kicked him from below and Itachi was sent up in the air. As soon as Itachi was at certain height ( he was visible i.e. he was above tree level) both, Naruto and clone jumped in the air and kicked him downwards, one of them took the support of other and jumped in upward direction. The one that gave support was going downwards with some momentum. Using this momentum, Naruto showered Itachi with barrage of kicks and punches. As they both reached ground, Naruto jumped away from Itachi and other one came from height and kneed him in gut.

As this scene was unfolding all the three were shocked beyond imagination, Sakura, lady Chiyo and Kakashi were just witnessing the growth of Naruto.

"Amazing!" Was all Sakura could say.

"What speed!" Chiyo looked at the boy.

Before anybody process what had happened, Naruto dropped from above and slammed Itachi along with his clone with his signature jutsu but slightly bigger in size.

"Giant Rasengan" and *boom* there was a huge blast.

"Naruto!" Sakura cried seeing Naruto being caught in blast and ran for his help.

Once the explosion settled, everybody reached there to check on Naruto.

Naruto was standing beside the Itachi's dead body.

"What the hell!" Naruto gritted looking at the body.

"Naruto are you alright?" Asked Sakura with worried expression.

"Yeah! I'm alright. Both of them were clones and I was out of blast radius."

"Using a clone to hit your opponent with your strongest jutsu so that you won't get caught in the explosion! That was very excellent move Naruto." Kakashi praised Naruto but in his subconscious he was thinking 'just how strong are you?'

"W..What the hell!" Chiyo said looking at the body. Looking at her expression, Sakura and Kakashi also took a look and found something odd.

Everyone was shocked to see that the one they killed wasn't Itachi but was someone else.

"I felt something odd during fight!" Said Kakashi

"What is this..? A transformation technique or something that they possess?" Asked Sakura looking at the body.

"No! it's far greater than that. Fire ball was one of the Uchiha's signature jutsu and he did it like any Uchiha would." Turning to Chiyo, Kakashi asked "Do you know him?" about the body that was dead in front of them.

"Yes.. he is Yuura, a jounin from my village"

"What.. Sand?" Sakura and other were shocked.

"What does this mean?" Kakashi was shocked to see the scene unfolding with such strangeness.

"I don't know myself. He went missing right after Gaara was kidnapped"

"He must be Akatsuki's spy!" Sakura blurted

"No.. he served on the village council for 4 years"

Somewhere else..

Two Akatsuki members were sitting on something like rock, one of them opened his eyes to reveal sharingan.

"Seems like you're finished too" said the other one who was famously known as 'tail less tailed beast' Kisame Hoshigaki.

"Yeah.. the chakra's run out" replied Itachi Uchiha.
