(A/N) Sorry this has taken so long to be updated! Thank you for all waiting patiently and for sticking by. I've had a very busy month, but luckily everything has calmed down now, so hurray! Back to regular (ish) updates! But hey, happy 1st of December everyone! Have you opened your advent calenders? I love Christmas! It's my favourite time of year! But back to the story... Enjoy:)

Chapter 13

*Hookensmirtz evil pirate log*

Finally! We apprehended the mermaids, and even got some spare members of crew. Who knows, they could come in handy some time! And we captured them all thanks to me! And Rodney had no part of it!

"Now, then, Heinz. Since you are adamant that we are using this 'Power-Drain-machine' of yours, why don't you prove to me that it works"

"First off, Rodney, it is a 'Power-Drain-Inator!'. Get it right. And secondly, I don't need to prove myself to you! I am an evil genius!" I was the best pirate around. No one could ever excel my evil!

"Erm, excuse me?! Mind telling me what 'Mermaid Magic' is?" The mermaid with the purple tail shouted to us. Her and the black tailed mermaid were staring at us, in what I think was anger. Or the sun was in their eyes. But who knows.

"It is what every mermaid possesses. And it will soon be ours!" Rodney tried to do an evil laugh, but he just sounded stupid. Some people are just not cut out for this evil gig. Hey, it's tough, only the best (me) can be evil.

"If every mermaid possesses it, then why don't we know about it?" The one with the black tail sighed.

"You can't trick us with your riddles, mermaids! And now your power is mine!" I declared in triumph, and started to do a little dance in the process. I had just captured some mermaids, of course I was happy! My dancing stopped when I saw the entire crew staring at me.

"Oh, I meant, your power is ours..." I stepped back and sighed. Man, being the greatest pirate around sure had its perks, but you had to be careful not to upset your crew. If they turned on you, well, that was never a good thing to happen.

"Ignore him. I am better known by my real name, Captain Aloyse Everheart Elizabeth Otto Wolfgang Hypatia Gunther Galen Gary Cooper von Roddenstein. You might have heard of me? Welcome aboard my ship. Although, I cannot say that your experience here will be very pleasant." He again tried to do an evil laugh, but miserably failed. It does take an evil mastermind and years of experience to get it right though, so he's doing a valiant effort.

"May know you better? I can barely even remember your first name! Why don't you just stick with Rodney?" The mermaid with the black tail groaned.

"Because he thinks his real name sounds 'cooler' or more evil. But it doesn't!" I stuck my tongue out at him. Even a mermaid agrees that his so-called real name is stupid.

"Heinz. You were going to prove that your 'inator' was going to work." Rodney glared at me.

I knew that look. I had won and he was in denial about it. He was always in denial about me being the best pirate there was too. And now, I was going to have all the powers of a mermaid at my fingertips!

"Right, I'll go get that!" I practically skipped off to get my inator. Rodney would be so jealous of it. I couldn't wait to see the look on his face! And all of the crew would start answering to me, and throw Rodney overboard! Ok, maybe the last part was a bit extreme, but it could happen!

I brought my amazing machine round to the mermaids, and set it up so it was ready to fire.

"How are you liking your accommodation?" I asked them, with a smile on my face. I was so happy with my plan that nothing could ruin my mood. Well, nothing but, I don't know, some sort of crime-fighting semi-aquatic mammal showing up. But seriously, what are the chances of that happening? There is no chance, that is the answer.

"You might call it accommodation, but I call it a puddle!" The one with the black tail struggled with the ropes, trying to get free.

"I call it my mermaid-trap-inator! See, it's enough to keep you nice and hydrated, but it's also a trap. Hence trap-inator." I adjusted the settings on my other inator, and called over the crew.

"Now, behold my amazing inator. It will drain their power and give it to m... I mean us!" I then let out the best evil laugh that crew has probably ever heard.

"Wait. We don't have powers. Or mermaid magic! How many times do we have to tell you?! We are mermaids, not genies!" The one with the purple tail yelled at us.

"Listen to her! If they had magic, don't you think other people would know? Don't you think other pirates would be here trying to get them?" The orange haired captain joined in the yelling.

"Silence! I know that there is such thing, and these mermaids are just tricking us. You should know that mermaids are the most deceitful, cunning creatures in existence! You should never believe a word they say!" Rodney shouted to them. They all fell into silence, and I readied my inator. Rodney pointed at me, obviously my cue to fire up the inator.

"Wait, why are you doing this?" The green haired man spoke up.

"Oh, no! Don't get him started. He'll start monologuing. Nobody wants that!" I stopped the boy before him and the rest of us were all bored to death by one of Rodney's incredibly boring stories.

"I wouldn't mind hearing it." The rough looking one said bluntly. This was followed by frantic nods of the orange haired captain's crew.

"Well, the people get what the people want, I suppose." Rodney cleared his throat and sat on a barrel. "It all started in my youth. I remember the day quite well, in fact..."

Just then, I was hit by something, and I fell to the floor, leaving the crew looking at me in a speechless shock.

Elizabeth: I don't think mother dear will be very happy either;) And Monty has disappeared for a bit, more on him later:P But yes, he is very protective over Vanessa adn something is defiantly going to happen soon! And the girls (Vanessa and Isabella) are pretty trusting of the boys, but as for the others... well, lets just say that their might be some confusion. And of course. They will never wear away!:D
Chaos Infinity-X: The beach party. It would be quite funny, however I'd need to do some major adjustments to get that to work, but I'll see how it pans out:P
