(A/N) Gosh, it's been a long time since I updated. Sorry folks. Any way, Happy new year! *sprinkles confetti everywhere and lets off some fireworks* Hope you all have a great 2014!:D Anyway, enjoy:*
Chapter 14
"Perry!" I called out to the Platypus that had just brought one of the pirates to the floor.
He tipped his hat to us and continued to knock-out all of the crew that had captured us.
"How dare you touch me, you... you... beaver-duck... thing! Do you know who I am?! I am the best pirate ever; Captain Aloyse Everheart Elizabeth Otto Wolfgang Hypatia Gunther Galen Gary Cooper von Roddenstein. Surely you have heard of me."
"No, no Rodney, he is clearly a Platypus!" Hookensmirtz stood up and poked Rodney in the chest.
Perry rolled his eyes and gave them a whack with his tail, knocking Rodney and Hook down to the ground. He then walked over to us and untied us all, starting with Isabella.
"How did you know where to find us?" I hugged him. Perry had rescued me before, when the other pirates had captured me. He pointed down to the ground where Monty was waiting in the water below.
"He was looking for you, and when I spotted him, I took him here. Just before the other wave hit us, I swam down looking for help, and then I over-heard their plan and grabbed Guard P. I filled him in on everything I know."
"Wow that was convenient!" I laughed, and then jumped back into the water with Isabella following behind. But a rope was thrown around her tail, and she was dragged back.
"Ouch! Perry, help!" She was dragged back into the giant tub and then tied up again.
"Ha! Told you my mermaid-trap-inator was good!" Hookensmirtz got up and then threw Perry into the tub as well, tying him up in the process. "I've got you and your little Platypus too!" he taunted us.
"Oh, no you don't!" Captain Phineas and Ferb were stood behind him and had their swords pointed at Hookensmirtz.
"Oh, yes I do. And don't start that whole pantomime thing, I'm just stating facts. I have them in my trap!"
"And I'm stating the fact that if you don't let them go, you will be in serious trouble!"
"Oh, I'm shaking. Please, what are you going to do? Poke me with your little swords? Ha. Now, give me all your mermaid magic!" Hookensmirtz declared in triumph.
"How many times do I have to tell you, there is no such thing?!" Isabella exclaimed, with both panic and frustration in her voice.
Rodney then stumbled up and glared at Isabella. "We all know that it does exist, so just give it to us, and stop wasting my time!"
"Hey, listen to her! I think she would know, since she is a mermaid!" Phineas stopped pointing his sword at Hook and diverted his attention to Rodney.
"Don't try to be a hero, boy. These creatures are all just deceitful and they will trick you into believing anything. Trust me!"
"Trust you? Oh, yeah. I'm just going to believe a pirate, the masters of thievery and deceit, over a mermaid, who is sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly. And might I mention, saved our lives!"
"He does have a point." Hookensmirtz shrugged, and Rodney glared at him.
"You know what, Hook? All you have ever done is gotten in my way. If it wasn't for your stupid 'mermaid-catch-izer' I would have thrown you over board a long time ago!"
"Okay, two things. Firstly, it's an inator, not an izer. Get it right." Hook poked Rodney in the chest again, which seemed to annoy him greatly. "Secondly... you know, sometimes, your words hurt!"
"That's it! There is only so much of you I can take before I go insane, and I think I'm close to cracking!" Rodney shouted his crew to attention, and within seconds, Hook had been securely tied up, and thrown into the tub with Perry and Isabella.
"Hey! Wait! No, no in there! There is water in there. Oh great. Now my favourite outfit is wet. Well done! If these start to shrink, you owe me a new outfit!" Hook complained as he was dumped next to Perry.
"Can we tape his mouth shut please?" The crew complied and Hook was silenced, which actually wasn't such a bad thing. "Thank you. Now, Captain... What was it?"
"Phineas." He replied bluntly.
"Ah, Captain Phineas. You could be a great asset to this little crew of mine... It could even be this little crew of ours in time. Of course, your old crew could join me too and..."
"Wait, what? Why would I ever want to join you?!"
"Think of it, boy. You could travel the seas, taking whatever you want. You could travel the globe, think of all the places you could visit. And think of all the treasure you can have! Being a pirate is one of the greatest decisions you could ever make in your life, so come on, and join us!" Rodney placed a hand on Phineas' shoulder. "What do you say?"
"No." Phineas replied, and pushed his hand off his shoulder. "No way. I can travel the world whenever I want to. I can cease the day in my own way, and there is no way I would steal! Let them go, now!" He demanded.
Whilst Rodney was trying to persuade Phineas, I noticed Ferb trying to untie Perry; however, every time he got close to him, a member of the crew would attack, slowing him down.
Rodney backed away, and turned to look down at me. "Another mermaid and a merman. Imagine all the magic I can get from you three!"
"For the last time, there is no such thing!" I shouted up at him. Why didn't he believe us?! It was obvious that we didn't. Surely if we had such a thing as 'mermaid magic' Isabella would have zapped herself out of the ship by now. "Let my little sister go!" I commanded.
"Ha. Why don't you climb up here, and make me!" He taunted.
"Fine, if that is what it takes." A voice shouted from behind me. I turned around, startled and saw mom with Monogram and an army of palace guards surrounding the ship. Candace swam up next to me and hugged me.
"Oh, I'm so glad you're safe, Vanessa. After I couldn't find mom, I calmed myself back down, and went to go back to you. I noticed after a few minutes that the original ship had vanished, and when I went up to take a look, I saw them capture you, Isabella and the crew. I found Mom as quickly as I could. Luckily, she already had Monogram with her, so it didn't take long to gather the guards." She smiled at me. "But, where's Guard P?" She asked curiously.
I pointed up at the ship. "Rodney got him too. Ferb has been trying for ages to get to the ropes, but there are too many of them."
"Well, we might not have magic, but we can sure make a splash." Candace giggled to herself for a minute, before clearing her throat and looking down. "Never mind." She muttered.
The guards surrounding the ship started to splash their tails down on the water, causing it to start to splash up onto the ship. We all joined in, even the crew tried to help, except Buford seemed to be splashing Baljeet more than the ship. Within minutes the ship was starting to flood, and was slowly sinking under.
"Wait... Stop! Crew; start to get some of this water off! Don't just stand there!" Rodney demanded, but his crew just started to panic, and grabbed all that they could, one even grabbed their watermelon, and they all ran for the emergency boats. "No, stop! Come back!" Rodney pleaded, however they had all soon escaped, leaving Rodney on his own.
Phineas picked up Isabella after untying her, and helped her back into the water. Perry saluted Ferb and Hook shook his hand.
"Hey, so are we cool with the whole, you know trying-to-drain-you-of-your-magical-abilities-thing?" Hook awkwardly said to Monogram.
Rodney jumped up, and pounced onto Hook. "This is all your fault. You just ruin everything." He whined. Hook pushed him off and then proceeded to tie him up into his 'mermaid-catch-inator'.
"Told you it worked, Rodney." Hookensmirtz taunted him.
"I guess if you leave now, Hook, I could forget that you were ever involved in this, since you did help... even if just for a second." Monogram sighed.
"Really? You mean it! Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Hook jumped up and down.
He then turned around and got into the last remaining emergency boat. "You won't regret this!" He shouted as he rowed away.
We were all safe. I hugged Isabella as she swam towards us, and then Candace and mom joined in. We all sighed in relief. I broke away from the hug and turned to Ferb.
"How are you going to get home, though?" I asked in concern.
The crew all looked at each other and shrugged. The ship they had came in had been destroyed and Rodney's ship had been flooded. It would take a while before it was ready to sail again.
"Well, we will have to repair this ship, but that could take day, months even. I don't know." Phineas sighed.
"Wait, my friend knew a sea witch, she might have just the thing we need." Mom placed a hand on Phineas' shoulder. "As a thank you, for saving and protecting my daughters. Wait right here." And with that, she swam off.
