Chapter 3

Hero has fallen

Dinah walked down towards the archery academy and in only a few years the village defense increase by 20% with skilled ninjas and archers. Oliver started this years ago Naruto was only a baby when it open up. She remembered the grand opening watching the students sign up so many students and when Naruto was three he join started his archery training and ninja training. Dinah open the door to see the students training but stopped a bowed to Dinah addressing her as Mistress Dinah Queen. Dinah nodded her head as she went into the archery yard.

"Ah, Dinah how you feeling today? You look well." Said Mr. Hyuga greeting Dinah.

"I am fine I see the students are still coming in." said Dinah smiling.

"Yes, Oliver would be proud and of that boy of your's. Speaking of he must be taking his final exam today."

"Yes and that means this will be his once he turn 18 years old. I am so glad the archery academy is still going?"

"To honor you late husband. He was a great warrior and hero."

"Yes I know I only wish the war never happen?"

*FLASH*

Dinah started remembering the back to that night. It was just gone 6:00pm and Dinah had got dinner ready for her two mighty warriors. Her wonderful husband and lovely son. Speaking of them both Oliver and Naruto come through the front doors smiling and laughing.

"I hit the targets mum." Naruto cheered happily.

"Wow, that's great Naruto." said Dinah a smile on her face.

"Yeah been training all day pound of you little guy." said Oliver playing with Naruto's hair.

"OK, you two bows and arrows away." said Dinah hands on her hips.

"Aww." said Naruto and Oliver sadly.

"And wash up for dinner." Dinah continue.

"YEAH!" said Naruto happily running up stairs.

"That boy got more energy than you hun." said Dinah with a smile.

"Well, he'd only five." said Oliver kissing his wife on the cheek. "Remember when we were little kids. Full of energy excited about nearly anything."

"Oliver, Dinah we need your help right now we're being attacked." Matio Guy said come bursting through the door.

"Mum, dad what's going on?" Naruto asked from the stairs.

"Naruto, stay here. Mrs. Hyuga look after Naruto please." said Dinah putting her old costume.

Oliver quickly changed into his old costume. Both ready for battle becoming Green Arrow and Black Canary once again. Naruto watch from his bedroom window seeing his mother and father ran off with Matio Guy a young student of the local ninja school. Mrs. Hyuga was a newly married woman that lived just next door. Naruto looked at his bow and arrow. He wanted to go out there. Help his parents to fight this enemy, but the question was. Who was this enemy attacking the village? The war lasted for years the war went on and it finally ended, but at cost of many lives. One life was one of the greatest lost. The priest said a prayer for the fallen warrior. The grave stone said: Here lies Oliver Jonas Queen The Green Arrow Devoted Father Loyal Husband Great Defender And Hero. Green Arrow had ended the war with the sacrifice of his own life.

"Amen." said the priest followed by the people paying their respects.

"Oh, Oliver my love no." Dinah said crying.

"Bye dad you were awesome." said Naruto tears rolling down his cheeks. "Sorry I couldn't help you out better."

*END FLASH*

It took a few years and a statue was built of Green Arrow in honor of his bravery towards defending the village. Mr. Hyuga had taken over the Archery Academy to keep the memory of Oliver Queen alive for giving his life for his family and towards the village. The statue was left in the archery garden with the words in graved below: GREEN ARROW THE GREAT DEFENDER. Figure wearing a blue and gold outfit with a gold helmet matching cape watch as Naruto entered the ninja archery school.

"I must go to him and bring him here." said Dr. Fate leaving through the simple of order.
