Chapter 8: A dark revelation
Oh god is the world ending? I actually updated this.
Haha, just wanted to say that.
Anyway I would apologize for taking me so long to update but I did it so many times, that you must be tired, so for now on if it takes too long to update, I apologize for every single time that happens.
Two more things.

Allen and the others began to walk to the movie theater after Allen got the money he needed.
"Where did you learn to play like that Allen?" Lavi asked while they walked.
"Let's just say I had to learn". He answered.
"And why is that?" This time Madison asked.
"Our master". Jason answered.
"Who is your master anyway?" Lenalee asked, and that question got everyone piercing Allen and Jason with their gaze.
"General Cross". They answered in unison.
"WHAT?!" Lavi, Madison and Lenalee yelled, gaining some stares from the people in the street.
"You were trained by General Cross?" Lavi asked this time on a normal tone.
Both nodded. "Why is that so surprising?" Allen asked.
"Because General Cross has been missing for about four years". Madison answered them.
"And no one knew anything about him; even less knew that he had two students". Lenalee added.
"Four years…" Jason said starting to think. "Then he was gone for around two years when he found me".
"So you didn't start to train at the same time?" Lenalee asked.
"No, I was with master for around a year before Jason joined". Allen answered her.
"And how was the training?" Lavi asked.
Both Allen and Jason suddenly got a red aura around them.
"The training was fine". Jason started to say while clenching his teeth.
"What was a problem"? Allen continued.
Both said. "It's the way he wasted money and then made us work to pay for it!"
This time they were the ones that got stares from the people in the street, but if they noticed then they didn't react on it.
"The reason why I learned to play poker was to pay the debts". Allen continued while they walked.
"But the worst part is that after he learned about that". Jason continued.
"He started to waste even more money!" Allen finished.
"Come on, it couldn't had been that bad". Lavi tried to calm them a little.
Both stopped with the red aura to now have a depressed one. "You say that because you don't know". They said at the same time.
After that everyone kept walking to the movie theater with Allen and Jason occasionally cursing their master but mostly talking about some random things.
Before they knew it they got to the movies.
"Okay we'll buy the tickets; you guys buy some popcorn and stuff". Madison said while she and Lenalee walked to the row.
"Hai". They answered at the same time.
The three got to the row and waited until it was their turn.
The three ordered, although Allen much more than them.
"Allen you're paying". Lavi said while walking away.
"Wha-, Why?" But Lavi was already far away from them.
"I think it's because of how much you bought". Jason answered while slowly trying to walk away.
"-Sigh- Fine". With that Allen paid but before Jason could walk away he grabbed him and told him to pay his stuff.
"Man, why didn't you made Lavi pay for his stuff?" Jason whined while they walked to the others.
"Because he was already too far away". He answered. "But don't worry he will pay me back". The last with black mode.
"By the way Allen," Jason suddenly turned serious. "Do you plan on telling them about 'that'?".
That question made Allen stop on his track and look at the floor. "No". He continued to walk with Jason behind him. "At least not yet".
"Well, Komui-san and the Generals know, so I guess if none of them is the gossip type, then everything will be okay". Jason said after he heard his answer.
"I don't think they will tell". Allen said looking up again. "But let's worry about that later". With that they got to Lenalee, Lavi and Madison and entered to watch the movie.
After the movie finished everyone was walking home talking about unimportant things, until Lenalee said.
"Allen-kun". He looked at her. "Why did you puke after seeing the level 4?"
Both Allen and Jason stopped on their tracks after hearing that. "Am…I…Well". Allen began to stutter trying to think of an answer.
"H-He must have eaten something bad ". Jason said trying to divert the attention but it was clear that they didn't buy that because of the look in their faces.
"You actually puked after seeing an akuma?" Lavi said with his goofy smile trying to put some humor to the situation. "Anyone would think that someone with your appetite will have a stronger stomach".
"Stop it Lavi he still needs to answer us". Madison said to him while the three again pierced through him with their eyes.
Allen ended up sighing. "Fine I'll tell you".
Everyone got even more focused.
"I told you that my eye lets me know who is a human and who is an akuma". He started to say. "The way that it allows me to know this is by showing me the soul of the akumas". He finished with a sad look in his face.
"And…" Lenalee started to say and gulped before answering. "…what does the soul of an akuma look like?"
Allen made a sympathetic smile before starting to walk again and when he was at everyone is side he said. "You don't want to know". With that everyone continued to walk behind him not saying a single word.
They had walked for a while when it was time to split ways.
"Ok, see you tomorrow". Allen said but before anyone could answer he activated his Innocence and used the cape to catch some sort of candle with a sharp end.
"Heh, why did you grab it, Allen?" Someone said from the sky, everyone turned their eyes to where the voice came from and saw a girl probably around 13 years old with spiky purple hair floating on top of an umbrella. "I could have killed at least one exorcist with that".
Allen glared at the girl and said. "What are you doing here Road?"
"Just wanted to know if you are finally ready to come to our side". Allen flinched at that statement while everyone else looked strangely at that. "After all you're a Noah just like us".
Lavi, Madison and Lenalee's eyes went wide after hearing that.
"Allen-kun". Lenalee called to him but Allen didn't move. "Is that true?"
Allen still didn't move from his position until he suddenly seemed to relax and answer. "Yes, I have the memories of the Fourteenth Noah within me".
Road had a wide smirk across her face after hearing him saying that. "Wow I didn't though you would say it so calmly, you must have grown up". She mocked before snapping her fingers and a bunch of doors appeared where five level 4s came out all of them with a smirk on their face. "But I wonder if you can handle all of this".
Allen placed his right hand on his left wrist ready to take out the sword but stopped when he felt something pointing at his head, he turned his head to see Lavi with his hammer activated pointed towards him.
"So I guess our first impression of you was correct". He said glaring at Allen, this looked at Lenalee and Madison to see that they also had their Innocence activated although they didn't seemed to want to hit him.
"Stop it Usagi". Jason said with his axe pointed to Lavi. "Or I will cut you down".
"Hahahaha". Road started to laugh. "Oh my god I didn't knew how you were gonna react to the truth but this is better than I have expected". Suddenly her laugh stopped. "Attack". With that all the level 4s lunged towards them.
One of them went directly towards Allen who quickly draw out his sword and clashed it with the akuma's right arm but another one started to approach from his right side, it was about to hit him when Jason's axe stopped this one, then both deflected the attack and jumped back to gain some distance.
After that Allen was looking at Lenalee and the others, who were being surrounded by three level 4s. "Kuso".
"What do we do Allen?" Jason asked while standing ready to fight.
But he couldn't answer because the level 4s again lunged towards them forcing a clash. "For now let's take care of this".
Meanwhile.
Lenalee, Madison and Lavi had started to clash attacks with the level 4s but those clearly had the advantage, in one opportunity Lavi hit one of the akumas with his hammer.
"Gotcha". He said but then his hammer was send flying away, to then receive a punch in the face from the same level 4 he had hit with his hammer.
"Lavi". Lenalee and Madison called to him but couldn't do anything to help since the level 4s lunged at them.
Lenalee jumped in the air to fight with one while Madison fought the other one in the ground.
Lenalee started to exchange blows with her akuma making a good job of keep up with it blocking and trying to attack whenever she got a chance, however after a while of this they clashed their attacks making sparks fly.
'Damn it, the level 4s are way stronger than the 3s'. Lenalee thought, but was cut short when the level 4 deflected her leg to then hit her in the stomach and send her back to the ground, the impact making a crater.
Madison managed to keep her opponent at bay using Wilis to put some distance between them in order to avoid a direct hit like last time, at one opportunity she saw an opening in the level 4 is defense and tried to hit there, but this dodged the attack and quickly got closer to Madison to then give her a kick on the side, sending her clashing towards a wall near Lenalee and Lavi.
"Damn it, we won't last long at this rate". Madison said while the three started to stand up.
"Let's try with a combo". Lavi said while charging his hammer. "Konbo ban: Gouraiten".
"Innocence level 2 unlock". Madison continued. "Take this". She sent Wilis around Lavi's attack to combine them.
"Enbu Kirikaze". Lenalee said making a tornado that surround the other two is attacks all of which were directed towards one of the akuma, the attack hit its right side separating it from the rest of its body.
"Damn EXORCIST". The wounded level 4 yelled trying to send a dark matter ray towards them but Lenalee was faster, and kicked it towards Madison and Lavi, the first managing to make a deep cut on its body near where the head connected to its body, and then let Lavi hit its head with his hammer covered in flames, eventually separating it from the rest of the body.
"-Pant pant- I think we did it". Lavi said after the akuma exploded.
"-Pant- Yeah". Madison said. "But we still have some problems". The three looked at the two level 4s they still needed to destroy.
"Any ideas?" Lenalee asked standing ready to fight.
But no one could answer since the two remaining level 4 lunged at them, one of them clashed attacks with Lavi forcing him to go back a little, to then repeat the same movement towards Madison who managed to place a shield made of her Innocence.
Lenalee lunged towards the akuma, trying to go help them but the other one hit her first, forcing her to crash into a wall.
"Damn it". Lenalee said while trying to stand up again when she saw the akuma lunging towards her with one hand transformed into some type of blade.
"DIE EXORCIST". It yelled; Lenalee clenched her teeth waiting for the attack when suddenly something white appeared from under the floor receiving the attack to then hold a broadsword backwards and cut down the akuma.
Ok, I'll leave it there.
You know the drill, reviews are appreciated but I won't say anything about how long it will take to update because I can't assure anything.
