Even though I am writing about the Christmas holidays, I sincerely hope everyone is having a Happy Easter Sunday today!
Without asking, Garcia took the spot JJ had just abandoned on the coffee table and sat grinning at Christine.
"What?" Christine asked suspiciously.
"What do you mean 'What'?" Garcia returned, her grin getting bigger.
"That 'Cat' smile," Christine squinted at her. "You are up to something!"
"Well, I just came to tell you that we will be sharing your next doctor's appointment," Garcia continued grinning at her.
"Sharing? Do you mean to say that you already know the team will be out of town?" Christine asked, puzzled.
"No. I mean that I scheduled myself to accompany you, and I have the appointment immediately after yours," Garcia was trying hard not to bounce up and down on the table.
"The next appointment? With an OB? Oh My Gosh – PENELOPE!" Christine was trying not to scream. "Do you mean? Does Derek know?"
"No, My Red Hot Lover doesn't know yet – And don't you tell him!" Garcia warned. "I want to make sure, and then I want to set the stage. This is a Major Announcement!"
"Of course! Christine agreed. "And, then, you'll have to tell his mother and his sisters and – Oh Penelope!" she squealed again.
"And, knowing his mother, we'll have to get married as soon as possible," Garcia continued. "I'm hoping we can put it off until after you have the babies. That way I can have you, JJ, and Blake as my attendants."
"A big wedding? I don't think so," Christine opinioned. "Have a small, personal affair. Then, throw a big party after the baby is born. Speaking as an accountant, you'll need to get married before midnight, December 31, so you can file your income tax as 'Married' for this year. It will save you a lot of money."
"I knew there was a reason I wanted to talk with you!" Garcia gushed as she bent over to share a hug with her friend.
