Jeremy was working on some homework in his room when Liz sent him an instant message.

"Jeremy?"

Jeremy looked up and wrote "Yes Liz?"

"Something's wrong with my computer, I can't seem to access the Google site. It was working fine just an hour ago." Liz wrote "I still got other sites but there seems to be problems with all of their google links and ads causing errors on webpages. The main site has the typical can't find the server error"

Jeremy wrote "You sure it's your computer? It might be Google. They could be doing something with their servers."

"Uh Jeremy, you know as well as I do that Google has several data centers all around the world with millions of servers in each of them." Liz wrote, "They wouldn't have a complete site shutdown like that if they lose a server they have numerous backups and other systems. It wouldn't shut the site down slow it down maybe but not shut it down"

Jeremy blinked. Liz was right, a company as massive as Google should not have problems like that. "Hmm, Liz I'll get back to you."

A knock was heard on his door.

Jeremy said "come in."

Kat entered into the room with a pouting face "Jeremy, something's wrong with my computer. I can't access Youtube or Google." She whined

Jeremy hummed. That was two people with the same problem. "Give me a moment." He said opened an explorer program and tried to access Google but came up with an error showing that the explorer program couldn't find the server. "This is interesting" He went out of his connection and went onto his computer forum and it's most active topic was Google Attack. He opened the topic and the first post was a link to a news video

Jeremy hummed and clicked on the link.

A video screen popped up with a new anchor. "Breaking News today as we are getting reports of a massive cyber attack against Google. In just the last half an hour, Google has reported that all nine of their data centers world-wide have reported malfunctions with their servers forcing each center to go into maintenance mode while the operators try to figure out source of the malfunctions while this is happening Google will not be functioning. We'll bring you more as we get more information.

Jeremy closed the news screen

Kat hummed in thoughtful interest "server malfunctions, all over the world." She muttered "What could possibly…" her voice trailed off then she looked at Jeremy in shock "You don't think, XANA…"

Jeremy shook his head "it's not XANA's style, besides he can't attack anything unless he wants the Agency after him."

Kat frowned "then if it's not him who or what is causing this?"

Jeremy hummed "I don't know." He muttered

All of a sudden, a mettaur virus popped up on the screen. It chirped in viral language then knocked on the screen with the flat of its pickax making a knocking on glass sound.

Jeremy recoiled in surprise "What the?" He exclaimed

Kat looked and said "hey, what's a mettaur virus doing on your computer?"

Jeremy said "I don't know." He put on his headset "Mettaur virus?" He spoke into the mic.

The mettaur chirped as it posed with its pickax.

"Why are you on my computer?" Jeremy asked

The mettaur looked around then noticed a mail icon on the desktop. It chirped then hopped over to the mail icon, and chirped as it bounced by it.

Jeremy said "e-mail?" He blinked as he understood "do you have a message for me?"

The mettaur chirped in agreement

Jeremy said "display message."

The virus chirped and pulled out a message from under its helmet. A window opened and this message was displayed

"Jeremy, we got trouble. Google's under attack by the Lyokoians, all outside connections have been cut off and several groups of Agents are pinned down in various locations. KC and I have been trying to get to the core but without Central's support we can't use a lot of our power moves to get through wave after wave of Lyokoian Programs. I think because the key you have is the same key that the Lyokoians are using you can get in on their connection using Lyoko. We need your help Hurry!

Jeremy blinked and then clicked the highlighted link.

A small cube of data appeared on the screen and the virus made a chirp of surprise as it went over to the snack and quickly ate it. It then chirped in happiness and gave the anime happy face ^_^ then chirped a good-bye hopped off the left side of the screen.

Kat giggled, "That was kinda cute."

Jeremy hummed "Kat text Odd and Aelita, I'll text Ulrich and Yumi."

Kat nodded as she pulled out her phone "what about Liz?"

Jeremy went to the instant message and wrote "Liz, red alert, get to Lyoko ASAP, Google under attack."

Liz wrote back a few seconds later "Meet you there." She then logged off

Jeremy sent Ulrich and Yumi an alert and said, "Let's go Kat."

Kat nodded "right!"

At the factory, Jeremy Liz and Kat with Strawberry around her neck had just entered into the room. Aelita was sitting at the computer.

Jeremy said "Status Aelita."

Aelita said, "I've sent Ulrich, Yumi and Odd to Lyoko just about a minute ago. I was about to send myself but then I decided to wait until the rest of you came."

Jeremy stepped out of the elevator and said "Liz, you and Kat get down to the scanners Aelita and I will be right behind you."

Kat nodded "right." The elevator closed and they went down to the scanners. "All set!" Kat called out as they entered into the scanners.

Aelita said "alright…" She started the transfer process "transfer Kat, Transfer Liz, Scanner Kat, Scanner Liz, Virtualization."

Kat and Liz were sent to Lyoko. Strawberry was still with Kat.

Aelita got out of the chair and Jeremy leaned over the keyboard and typed to activate the time-delayed sequence.

Aelita went down to the scanners via the emergency ladder

Jeremy said, "Time delayed virtualization sequence set for 3 minutes." He hit the enter button and went down the ladder. Aelita had got into one scanner and Jeremy got into one opposite of her.

Aelita said "let's go save Google."

Jeremy nodded.

Both doors closed and they were sent to Lyoko.

The group was waiting for them to appear.

Jeremy pulled up a screen "alright accessing tower program initiating connection to Google.

A portal opened; however, it phased slightly.

Jeremy said "Let's go, we only got a few minutes before the connection collapses due to low signal. That's means we won't be able to logout once we get inside."

Kat said "and if we can't logout then we can't lose all our lifepoints otherwise it's game over right?"

Jeremy said "yes in more then one way"

Kat turned focused "alright, then let's do this."
