The group entered into the portal and came out at Google. The sky of the google site had turned a dark orange color signaling a battle was on going however there were no visible opponents. In truth, there were not any programs out.

Kat said "from what I understand until that sky get a yellow sunset color the battle for the local area won't end. We may run into quote unquote 'random encounters.'

Odd said "you mean like when an opponent suddenly appears and attacks?"

Kat said "exactly."

Ulrich said "so we got keep our guard up, anything can happen."

Kat said "yep."

Jeremy said "Our goal is the core area. The access door for it is several miles down Main Street. We can't use vehicles during a battle phase so we have to be on foot"

Ulrich said "let's go."

The group ran down the street and every so often would come across a few Lyokoian Knights or Archers and took them down with ease. However at one of the cross streets about twenty Lyokoian Archers appeared at one end of the street forming a blockade and started shooting their arrows at the group like energy bullets.

"Take cover!" was Jeremy's command.

The group ran into a side alley.

"that's too many to fight Jeremy" Ulrich remarked "not without some sort of plan."

"which is why I called you here Lyoko Warriors." A familiar male voice replied.

The group turned and also in the alley way was a black clothed man with black face paint and sharp blue eyes, He was wearing a helmet that was an orange color which blended in with the sky."

Kat said "who are you?"

Jeremy blinked as he recognized the eyes "Kevin?"

Kevin chuckled and nodded.

Kat turned surprised "the Chosen One?"

"Shh!" Kevin hissed then looked around "the walls tend to have ears." He muttered, "The Lyokoians hear I'm in town, I'll be hunted down for elimination after all I'm one of the two who can reset this system. Right now they think I'm just a virus trying to break through."

Kat frowned as she looked around, "What happened here anyhow?" She asked

"About 24 hours ago Clip had a little visitor, a pale faced girl in a white mage outfit from Final Fantasy. She gave him a note for KC and he forwarded a copy to me." He pulled out a sheet of paper and a window popped up in front of the group with the letter.

Dear Agent KC

The Lyokoians plan to launch an attack against Google in 24 hours to take it over. The warrior in charge of the assault will be a Dark Knight Class warrior called Chaos. A powerful swordman equipped various abilities under a group of moves known as Arcana, which is high level black magic used to disable opponents by inflicting various status conditions including blindness, silence, poison, and petrifaction. However, he has a weakness. He is infected with a condition that he loses lifepoints at a great rate like a poison status if his White Mage Sister Harmony is not near him or KOed. He will keep her guarded at all cost but if you manage to knock her out or take her away he will fall easily. If you do attack her please be gentle, she does not mean to cause trouble but she is forced to. She is the only one in a group who thinks the Agency is the not the enemy. She wants to help others who are in danger of deletion but cannot do anything because she too is affected by a condition that makes her dangerous to anyone even herself.

Yumi said "so someone from the Lyokoians is trying to help us?"

Kevin nodded, "I want to find this Harmony, because I sense it was her who wrote and delivered this to Clip problem is this as far as I got. KC around here somewhere but I'm not fully sure where. We got into this ambush and I managed to keep them busy while KC went to assist other Agents to retreat. You guys are the last resort before we hard crash the system."

Odd said "hard crash it?"

"We blow up the site taking all programs with it and reload it with a full restart, kinda like what you all threatened at Site 9 and 10." Kevin explained "It's not a pretty thing to have Google crash, as it is this attack causing massive backlash in the real world."

Jeremy said "I saw the news reports. They aren't even sure what to call it besides a Cyber Attack."

Kevin exhaled "I should have seen this coming." He muttered "Without Central active the barrier protecting the real world from attacks from the Internet is severely weakened."

Kat said "The Internet can do that much damage?"

Kevin nodded "The site connected to all their servers one way or another to keep the site together." He explained "normally with Central active an attack like this wouldn't even be known to the real world but…" His voice trailed off

"but because Central cut off support, the real world is feeling this attack." Ulrich finished

"It's like taking one of our tower attacks and multiplying it by a thousand if not a million as the entire world feeling it." Jeremy added

Kevin nodded "that is the power of the Internet." He replied

"What are the Lyokoians trying to do anyhow?" Aelita asked "What do they want Google for?"

"My guess is that they want a site as a stronghold for getting rid of XANA." Kevin figured "The more servers they have under their control the stronger they become but even Google is just one set of servers. XANA got almost the entire Internet under his control"

Jeremy hummed, "what about the purified sites does XANA still own them?"

"The purified sites and the servers supporting them are still claimed by XANA." Kevin replied "He has been claiming this purification is an update for a glaring weakness he found in the security system of his design pretty much he's taking all the credit for what you all have done."

Kat made a face "That jerk." She muttered "We do all the work and he takes credit."

Kevin gave her a smirk, "be thankful." He replied "He could turn those in the sites against you but instead he doesn't."

"So is he against us or not?" Kat demanded

"Oh I think he's against you for what happened before," Kevin replied, "but I think there something else going on that we don't know about. We can only deal with what we are shown at this time, which right now the Lyokoians appear to be the main threat."

Yumi said, "Can't we just tell them to stop this madness and that they are doing more damage than good right now."

"all messages I've tried to send to the Lyokoians have been ignored," Kevin stated "They don't want to talk to anyone which I think is why this girl of the Lyokoians sent this warning and call for help because she needs us to be able to do something different that doesn't involve going after XANA."

Odd said, "So now what do we do?"

Kevin said, "right now we get to the core and reset the system. Aelita can I borrow your data for a second."

Aelita said "borrow my data?"

Kevin said "I need your virtual form program just for a moment for a modification to increase the chances of this becoming a successful mission."

Aelita stepped forward slightly "Okay what do you need me to do."

Kevin said "just hold still." He stood up and circled his palms together like he was mixing the air between them and they started to glow with light. He then said "Zeros and Ones, install code" He then touched Aelita arm and the light surged through her arm and into her body.

Aelita shook slightly, "oh that tingles." she stated

Kevin said "install complete"

A beep occurred nearby and Jeremy pulled up a screen and read over what was installed into Aelita "huh, Aelita it's looks like he installed some sort of keycode into your form. It looks like it mimics the keycode of Lyoko."

Kevin said, "That key code is the key to reset this site. It is a single use copy; therefore, you can only use it once. If you logout before you use it, the key will disappear."

Kat shook her head "we can't logout Kevin our connection collapsed." She stated "If we lose all our lifepoints it's our deletion."

Kevin turned surprised, "oh dear, why didn't you guys say so, here let me connect you to the site I logged in at." He pulled up a screen and started typing. All of a sudden a cling sound occurred and a small orb of light glowed at each of the Lyoko Warrior's chests. Kevin closed the screen, "there. That will save you from deletion." He stated.

Jeremy pulled up a screen and checked where the group would go if they were forced to logout. It marked the warrior's connection coming from Southern California in the United States instead of France. "Curiosity, where did you connect us to?"

Kevin smirked "my personal server in Southern California. It's my main connection when I'm not on Central Island. It's monitored by my guardian who raised me when I was young. I still use it to get from the island to my home city."

Jeremy said "and it has a direct connection to Google?"

Kevin said "not a real direct connection but more like a relayed connection. I synced my connection with the connection generated by the Agency as long as they have a connection, which KC will make sure stays open, my path out will remain open as well. I'll find a way to connect you all to Lyoko from there. It should be easy."

Jeremy said "alright thanks."

"No problem," Kevin replied "now let's get to work." He stood up and peered out to see the Archers still standing there. "Our first job getting rid of those Archers." He determined "even with my viral barrier. I couldn't get through their barrage of attacks to attack with viral delete which seems to be my only move that could eliminate them and its melee range"

"that's right you don't have their anti-code." Jeremy stated "We do, they are weak against the same thing as XANA's monsters except we just have to hit them period."

"just get me in range and I'll blast them." Odd said as he loaded his wrist blasters with a loading click. "Two hundred laser arrows ready for rapid fire"

Kevin grinned "heh, alright then, Odd you're with me. Everyone stay here until Odd and I clear them out."

"Right" The group replied.

Kevin and Odd ran out and toward the Archers. Odd in front of Kevin

The Archers started firing at the Duo

"Viral Barrier!" Kevin called out and a barrier with a big plus shape in the center appeared in front of them and moved with them as they advanced toward the Archers

The blasts hit the barrier slowly weakening it.

Odd stopped when he was in range and Kevin stopped still projecting the shield

Odd aimed both his arms "Laser Arrow Rapid Fire!" He fired his arrows rapidly doing a sweep side to side.

His arrows flew rapidly at the Archers and hit them multiple times causing them all to shatter. However, more kept coming but could not continue their attack not getting enough time to get into position before they were deleted as well.

Odd soon stopped firing and a click sound was heard "I'm out of Arrows!"

"reload in 30 seconds!" Jeremy called out

The archers restarted their assault and the energy of Kevin's shield was being drained.

Kevin grunted "dam it…" His shield dropped

Odd crossed his arms "Aqua Shield!"

A bubble surrounded Odd and the arrows were absorbed but the energy of the shield was much less then Kevin's shield and it was quickly drained by the amount of attacks and was popped.

Kevin pulled Odd behind him and guarded him taking hits and flinching in pain. "You got to watch out for their attacks as well," He said through gritted teeth "if you have their anti-code they have yours."

Odd grunted "no way so that means."

Kevin said, "more or less a barrage like this will eliminate you and your elemental shields are too weak to withstand against the assault."

"Energy Shield!"

A barrier went into place around Kevin and Odd as Aelita came next to them. "Fall Back," she commanded.

"Meta Ma te! Me ta ma ta te!" A high pitched voice called out (Everyone! Ally Assist!)

"Dash sha!" (Flyers Away!)

Five bird-like creatures one gold the others green flew over Odd and Kevin and several mettaurs jumped off the birds, came at the Lyokoian Archers with their pickaxes out, and smashed the archers at close range destroying several and they attacked with low slices and other melee slashes.

A off roader vehicle rolled up loaded with Mettaurs and they all jumped out in waves and throwing their pickaxes like boomerangs taking out some archers, recovering their axes and getting into melee range and slashing and hacking the archers."

The off roader transformed into a humanoid like program with off roader vehicle parts.

Kevin said "Wheelermon!"

The program smirked and pulled out a mallet with a pair of large wheels on it and said "you think I would I would miss this party CO? You got to be spinning your wheels now come on let's ride!" He let out a motor like battle cry "Wheel Hammer!" He called out as he charged into the fray ramming one archer with his mallet, launching the opponent into the air, and then slamming it with a mighty hammer blow and deleting it.

Kevin hummed "Lyoko Warriors, let's do this." He pulled out his pickax and joined in the fray.

The rest of the warriors came out and pulled out their weapons and joined in as well

It was an all out brawl as Lyokoian knights joined into the fight trying to block the main road. The Mettaurs slashing with pickaxes, the flyers dive bombing and dashing through opponents, Wheelermon skillfully using hammer strikes with speed, the warriors using their weapons at different ranges.

Kevin and Aelita managed to get back to back fighting off two knights. She had acquired one of the knights sabers and was using it like a pink lightsaber

Kevin guarded against his knight and said "how you holding up Aelita?"

Aelita blocked an attack from her knight and said "I'm alright, but do fights usually turn into wars like this."

Kevin slashed his knight deleting it but another knight quickly took up the fight Kevin blocked it and said, "not usually seems like Chaos is throwing everything he's got at us. If the M-group, The F-Flyers and Wheelermon weren't here we be heavily outnumbered and outgunned but I'll betcha he's just buying time so that the takeover will be complete before we could get to it."

Aelita slashed her knight deleting it "if there was only a way to just end this now…"

Kevin slashed his knight and deleted it then said "there is but I'll need some time to charge it up. I need cover."

Aelita said "Ulrich!"

Ulrich slashed his knight and ran over "what?"

Aelita said "guard Kevin on one side I'll protect them on the other side. He's needs time to charge up a move."

Ulrich nodded "right."

Both stood their ground fighting off the knights and Kevin knelt down to the ground preparing a move.

The others noticed that Kevin was charging a move gathered around him with a ring of knights surrounding them.

It took about two minutes but Kevin fully charged up and said "it's time…" He started glowing and touched the ground and the area seemed to shimmer as the ground started to become corrupted with red and black squares. It seemed to grab the Lyokoian knights and freeze them in position as the corrupted data infected their systems

Kat said "what's going on."

Wheelermon said "Kevin unleashing his ultimate virus move Viral Explosion, He first spreads an infection into the ground which spreads into his nearby opponents stopping them in their tracks then he'll make the infected data explode sending a shockwave of viral data against all opponents in visual range only those with an undershirt will survive the attack."

Liz said "and what about his allies."

Wheelermon said "we won't take damage but we're going to have some ringing ears and seeing spots in our eyes. It's bright and loud"

"Fly away!" One of the flyers said as they took off

"Hit the helmets!" One of the mettaur's replied as all mettaurs withdrew into their helmets

Wheelermon and the Lyoko Warriors covered their ears and closed their eyes

Kevin said "Viral Delete!"

A massive explosion like shockwave shot out from him and hit the entire street area almost like a nuclear bomb.

About a half a minute later when the effects of explosion cleared, the street was silent.

The sky turned back to its golden color.

The mettaurs popped out of their helmets.

Wheelermon came up

The warriors came up slowly and looked around.

Odd said "wow."

Kevin chuckled "task complete." He exhaled

One of the mettaur took a pose with it's Pickax held in the air and behind it like a victory pose "Meta ma te, me ta, ta me." (M-Group, Victory is ours)

The mettaurs cheered
