EPILOGUE

"Nii-sama... What are you going to do?"
The question from the black-haired girl had the boy known as the God of Conquest stoked. He had just awakened from his slumber - his first proper one for quite a while after going back to the past to set what should be. It was also the very first time in ages that he had finally been set free from his Hellian contract.
The catch: his supposed demon partner, whom he recently found out to be Satyr's ultimate weapon, is now his real younger sister. The very same girl standing right in front of him.
Then he realized what had happened before: the conversation over a bizarre dinner, her revelation as Satyr's ultimate weapon, and her sole request to her human buddy. All of them really did happen.
Keima has now reached a clear recollection. He has finally done what should have been done, and his reward was a return to what should have been long before he began "capturing" real girls.
And with that he has made his decision.
"I'll be going on ahead, Eri. If mom asks you, tell her I'm just finishing a game en route to school," he said to his new "sister", bringing out his PFP in the process.

Back with Suzaku, he's just having his breakfast with Sylvia over a serving of pesto, with two pieces of garlic bread and a glass of orange juice. Both were a bit silent as to what happened, especially his demon buddy who was still contemplating about that kiss the night before, but could not make mention thereof.
Just then, both received a message from Dokurou:
"You guys have my thanks for helping me out on the matter. If you wish to be clarified on all matters pertaining to your mission, feel free to meet me."
Suzaku, having finished his breakfast, stood up. "I'll be going on ahead, Sylvia."
"About the night before, Suzaku..."
"We'll talk about it after we meet up with Dokurou, don't worry. Besides, I don't actually regret what I did..."
And with that, he picked up his long coat and bag, and left the house. Sylvia was apparently left blushing after hearing his statement...

Meanwhile, Keima was already finishing his second galge on his PFP, as he leaned on the fence of a house he's familiar with. And apparently, he was passing his time waiting for someone.
As expected, a girl came out of the house, wearing a scarf around her neck, and funnily enough running late for school.
"What's with the alarm? It didn't ring at all..."
She then chanced upon Keima, who had a bit of an annoyed look on his face. "Hey, how long are you gonna make me wait? I ended up clearing two whole games..."
The girl was stunned to see this guy - the one known in school as 'Otamegane' - actually waiting for her in front of her house.
"Ka..." she struggled to complete his surname, more so what she wanted to ask about him.
"You're not bringing the guitar today?" he dryly asked her, knowing about that musical instrument that she started to bring ever since he first "conquered" her to bring out the runaway spirit within.
Sure enough, she quickly lashed out at him. "Y-you... What the hell is wrong with you?!"
But then he blurted out four words that would apparently render her speechless:
"Chihiro... I love you."
She remained standing stiff and dumbfounded upon hearing what appears to be a direct confession from a guy. More so from one whom she had been in love with for quite some time, who then gave her a rejection the night before the Mai-High festival, and who later dragged her and her best friend into a complex mess.
Keima meanwhile sported his default serious look, as if he completely meant what he said. As for Chihiro though, she slowly backed up towards the front door and went back inside the house. But not before replying sarcastically to his confession:
"Why don't you kill yourself?"
With that, Keima let out a sigh and walked away en route towards the academy. After passing by a few alley roads though, he heard someone call him from a nearby playground.
"Katsuragi Keima?"
He then turned his head and saw a man with short, black hair, dark brown eyes, and a pepper gray turtleneck shirt inside a black long coat. That person then approached him.
"I figured I'd meet you here. I'm Shinozaki Suzaku, a friend of one of your teachers and also a 'human buddy' assigned to capture Weiss. Can I have a moment?"
Keima nodded in response as Suzaku joined him in his walk to the school.
"I've heard about your predicament from Nikaido-san. How did it go?"
"I just did what needed to be done. I only wanted to reach the right ending," he replied.
"Well, swapping bodies with your younger self may have made you realize a lot about yourself, am I correct?"
"You could say that, I suppose... But..."
"But..."
Keima took a deep breath before continuing.
"After all I've gone through this past week... I just cannot seem to achieve that 'real ending' I have been aiming for all this time..."
Suzaku then let off a light smile. "By 'real ending' you mean the one involving Kosaka-san?"
The question took Keima by surprise. He was sure no one saw what had happened in front of Chihiro's house a few minutes ago. But to realize that a substitute teacher like him would deduce that conclusion just from their conversation? "Are you some kind of psychic or something?"
"Nah. I took over Kodama's position as your class's english teacher just last week. I only made that connection after having inquired the same from her."
"Oh..." Keima reacted in a deadpan manner.
"Still, this development would apparently be good for both of you. I'm sure she's just taking her time to let it sink in."
"Well, whatever..." Keima flatly replied as he went on ahead, leaving Suzaku behind. But then, he turned around and spoke to the substitute teacher:
"I heard from Dokurou that you and your buddy managed to protect her while I was gone. You have my thanks..."
As Keima walked on, Suzaku let out a smile in response. "Seems you picked the right guy, Kosaka-san," he thought.
Coincidentally, he received a text message from Chihiro:
"Sensei, I'll try to submit my essay as soon as possible, but I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to read the same in class. Just had to make last-minute edits."
Suzaku then let out a giggle, then replied: "Does it has something to do with what had happened just recently?"
He received no reply after that last message.
"Bingo..." he thought.

Meanwhile at a seaside waiting shed near the Akanemaru, Sylvia was quite deep in thought. She just met, and apparently eliminated, one of the two persons responsible for Sofia's demise. She also saw the Anti-Weiss rifle perform well within expectations with help from her human buddy.
But she was still bothered about Lune. She never got a chance to confront her as she promised to her adoptive sister. And then there's that issue of her feelings for her human buddy.
She turned to her Scythe of Testament which was leaning on one of the shed's posts. She began contemplating as to what to do with the final horn: to keep it until she crosses paths with Lune again or...
Just before she could continue, Nikaido arrived, wrapped in bandages and carrying a box.
"It's been more than two years. Glad to meet you again... Dokurou-sensei..."
"Well, seeing as you refer to my other self as me, then the sentiment is mutual, Vindictus."
Nikaido, or Dokurou for that matter, sat beside Sylvia while placing the box on her other side.
"I heard you met up with Lune-neesan..." Sylvia commented.
"Yeah... She was a bit of a pushover than expected, but nothing I could not handle, I suppose."
"Then what's with the bandages?"
Dokurou let off a sigh. "She brought backup with her and had the Akanemaru destroyed. But not before I got the chance of impaling her on top of the time machine."
"Where is she now?"
"In a maximum security facility back in New Hell, wrapped in a special straight jacket and with all her weapons, tools, and items confiscated. I had Rimyuel escort her personally there."
"And Satyr?"
"Apparently still on the run after their supposed 'ultimate weapon' developed a mind of its own and suddenly attacked their forces. None of the loyal RSS forces, including District Chiefs Herminium and Leoria, had any recollection whatsoever as to what happened after."
"Mass memory wipe?"
"Maybe. Rimyuel could only remember a white light engulfing a 30-mile radius from the Satyr weapon; it then just disappeared."
"How about Katsuragi's demon buddy?"
Dokurou then stopped. "That's apparently the confusing bit; when Rimyuel asked as to what happened to Irma, none of the RSS loyalists remember her. As if their memories were rewritten."
"Is it possible that Elsea may be that Satyr weapon all this time?"
"I cannot give you an answer to that. Too many unknown variables that probably only my other self knows..."
"I see..."
A long silence followed until Dokurou chanced upon Sylvia's scythe. "With Lune apprehended and probably kept away for good, and her associate disposed of, what are your plans for the last horn?"
Sylvia paused for a few moments then took a deep breath...
"Well, seeing as Sofia-neesan wanted me to use it as I see fit, I think I have decided on using it now... But this will remove me from New Hell's affairs for good..."
"So I guess this will be the last time I'll be seeing you..."
Sylvia responded with a nod, then stood up and picked up her scythe.
"I suppose so... Sayonara, Dokurou-sensei..."
Dokurou just let off a smile as her companion finally walked away from her one last time, with her Scythe of Testament resting on her shoulders.

Back at Maijima Academy, Class 2-B's english session just ended. Surprisingly, Suzaku did not see neither of the Katsuragi siblings again.
"And here I thought everything's back to normal..."
As he was fixing his stuff inside the bag, Chihiro approached him with a few pieces of paper in hand. And as he expected, she's a bit uneasy.
"You finally finished it?" he asked, to which Chihiro nodded.
"Um, sensei... I want to give you something else as well.."
"What is it?"
"A copy of the lyrics of our band's first song. The same one that we performed during the festival..."
"Let me guess... The one that's about 'him'?" At that point, she blushed.
Suzaku then read through he details of her essay and noticed that the sorrowful bits that she once wrote back then were completely gone.
"Answer me one question, Kosaka-san," he said. "Did something happen this morning that made you do the last-minute edits?"
Chihiro could not answer as she could not contain her embarrassment as to the events that morning. Suzaku had no choice but to hazard a guess.
"He went to your house and confessed directly to your face, right?"
"H-H-HOW DID YOU KNOW OF THAT, SENSEI?!"
Suzaku let off a grin before replying. "I just took a guess by looking at your face. Still, to be able to rush the changes to your essay in record time, that takes quite a lot of guts."
"I-I hope this won't affect how you'll grade mu essay, sensei..."
"No biggie, Kosaka-san. It's fine..."
With that, she gave thanks to her teacher and walked out the door. Then Suzaku said something.
"By the way, if you're planning on looking for him, I think she's with your homeroom teacher on the seaside."
Upon hearing this she stopped for a bit, clenched her fist and placed it in her chest, and sped away.

Meanwhile, Sylvia was watching from afar as Dokurou and Keima had their final conversation together. As Dokurou left Keima at the shed, Suzaku arrived on his bicycle to where his demon buddy was standing.
"Thanks for informing me of where Katsuragi was headed, Sylvia."
"No problem. You met up with Ol' Bishie?"
"Nah. Shoutarou-sama's a bit busy now; he's overseeing the affairs at his family's shrine and could not be bothered anyway."
"Well that was settled quickly. Anyways, why did you need his location for?" Sylvia asked. "There isn't any threat to be concerned with right now."
Suzaku then pointed out towards to his right, to the girl approaching Keima. "Wait up, is that Kosaka Chihiro?"
"Yup. Just found out that he confessed to her. Methinks this would be her reply to that..."
True enough, Chihiro played her right thumb at the side railings of the seaside pathway, as she approached Keima, who was now carrying a box filled with his confiscated PFPs.
"Well, how should I say it... Wanna... go have some tea?"
Keima was still in awe as to her actions just now. Especially since she just rejected him after the confession. Still, he let of a smile.
"Sure..."
And with that the two students walked away, with Chihiro resting her head on Keima's shoulders.
"Ah, the happiness of youth..." Suzaku commented. "Anyways, what happened to Lune, Sylvia?"
"She was captured and is now doing time in New Hell. As for her associate, she's dead."
"Which means your adoptive sister can finally rest peacefully..." Sylvia nodded.
"Which reminds me..."
In one quick motion, Sylvia finally broke off the remaining horn from her scythe. "Are you sure about this, Sylvia?" Suzaku inquired.
"Well, with Rimyuel telling me that the RSS has just been dissolved, I'm now out of a job. And besides..."
With that, she dropped her scythe as it slowly vanished into thin air along with her Weiss sensor and her Hagoromo, and then planted a kiss on Suzaku's lips.
"I already have a place I can call my own... And that's by your side, Suzaku..."
"So that last wish was..."
She nodded and gave a smile.
