They were sat watching T.V together on the sofa. Lucas was feeling positive, this was almost a normal activity and it felt nice. Normal social interaction: no arguing, no fighting.

Sawyer was still putting on a brave face. She tried focusing on the T.V, hoping that if she submerged herself enough with what was happening on screen then she could ignore the drama in her own life. Her phone buzzed and she read the name that flashed on screen. On second thought there was no escaping the drama in her own life…

"Hey Dad, I'm pretty wrecked, I think I'm going to head up early, night." She leant down and kissed him on the kiss sweetly. Going a bit far on the rehabilitated daughter bit but maybe this would stop him following her upstairs tonight. She needed to call the person back and he couldn't hear that.

"Good night sweetie, I'm just going to watch the rest of the film."

Perfect. There was at least another half an hour left. Sawyer practically ran upstairs, taking two steps at a time, and as soon as she was in the safety of her room with the door closed she hit dial.

Listening to the ringing tone impatiently she began to pace her room.

"Come on…pick up, pick up…" she murmured into the phone. She heard the pick-up tone and was about to start a spiel about how long it had taken and how she'd finally picked up but she was stopped by the sounds of muffled crying at the other end.

"Lydia, Lydia what's happened? What's wrong? Did you tell your parents about Logan? Have they said you can't see him? What is it?"

The tears stopped at Lydia's end and her next words were clear and calm,

"Jamie knows."

Sawyer's frantic questioning stopped. This was worst than Sawyer had imagined. How could Jamie know? They'd kept it quiet. Only the two of them knew. Lydia wouldn't have told him.

"But...how…?" Sawyer didn't understand. But that wasn't the important thing anymore. Who cares how he found out, how were they going to deal with it?

"Does it matter? He found the test, but we need to come clean otherwise he'll tell everyone first."

That was that then. They'd managed to keep quiet for a while and Sawyer was grateful for that but it was time to come clean. Time to face the music.

"Brooke, come to bed honey," Julian's voice called welcomingly and somewhat suggestively across the room. Brooke smiled and floated gently across the room and in to Julian's arms. He began to carefully massage her tense shoulders. With Sam and Jack and the kids over the last few days Brooke had been rushed off her feet but Julian still didn't quite understood why she was so worried. She'd explain it to him when she was ready and for now he'd just try to make her feel better. His hands worked like magic over her shoulders and he slowly lowered his head and started to place delicate kisses along her neck. She sighed and he let out a small chuckle, he knew how to make his girl feel better. She turned her body slowly and smiled as she started to kiss him. He quickly returned the kiss; glad they'd finally been granted some alone time. Unfortunately it seemed like circumstances weren't in their favour and to their dismay they were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell.

"Oh god…" Brooke frantically scrambled out of bed and pulled on her dressing gown. Someone ringing the door at this time of the night could never be good. She practically sprinted her way to the door and was still tying up her dressing gown as she opened it. The person standing there had their back to the door as Brooke opened it. Brooke squinted to try and figure out who it was but the relentless rain prevented this. The light pouring out of the front door prompted the figure turn around. It was the last person Brooke expected to see at her front door.

Sawyer Scott was standing absolutely drenched from the rain and tears streaming down her face. Brooke looked at her and her heart sank. She'd sent Lucas home the other night telling him to be happy and that Sawyer was fine. She couldn't have been more wrong.

"Oh honey come here," tears were forming in Brooke's eyes as she reached for her goddaughter's hand and ushered her into the house. Brooke closed the door behind them and looked at Sawyer for a moment. She looked even more helpless in the light and Brooke was at a lost at what to say. Luckily Sawyer spoke first.

"Brooke, I think I'm pregnant."
