Chapter 11: Children
Am I here again? In this dream?
Everything was dark all around Sol. Maybe the reason was because her eyes were closed.
I don't want to look at this dream again! Just more questions I wish to understand!
She screamed within her mind, cupping her hands over her face. Not wanting to look at this lost piece of a long forgotten puzzle.
Just stop! No more! If I can't remember whats the point in looking at it over and over!?
"Where are you going?"A small girl whispered in a soft voice. "Please don't go away." The voice now pleading. Sol could hear footsteps walking away from her. The black haired exorcist knew what was going on. She had seen this vision many time before.
I'm not going to look! I'm not going to look! Sol screamed to herself, whipping her head side to side. The exorcist realized that everything was quiet for some reason. She didn't remember this part. She didn't remember this dream being quiet at all. Sol moved her hands from her face, looking at the scene before her.
Like all the dreams before, it was purely white, lines of buildings could barely be seen. There in the center of all this was a three year old girl, clutching a katana, with an older boy kneeling next to her. As always Sol couldn't make out their faces, they were blurred or their bangs covered their face. Everything was white, so Sol didn't even know the color of their hair or skin.
"I-If I take this away you'll stay right!?" The young girl started to sob, her tiny fingers gripping the katana harder. "Idon't want you to go! Please don't!" The girl started to cry, tears running down her face. The boy next to her placed his hand on her head, giving her a reassuring smile.
"You need to stop crying so much. Didn't I tell you it was annoying and if you wanted to become strong you had to stopcrying?" The little girl nodded her head, but continued to cry. Her wailing became louder. The boys face turnd into a frown. "You really need to stop. I told you I'll come back soon. I promise I'll return." The girl's crying stopped, salty liquid stained her face.
"Promise?" She sniffed, looking up at the boy.
The boy smiled, "I promise. Now I need that back." The little girl looked at the katana she held and hesitantly handed it to the older male.
"Wh-where are you going?" She asked, looking up at him. The sighed, holding onto the sword that was now in his grasp.
"I can't tell you. It's a secret, but my job is to become an exorcist."
"SOL!"
"WHAT! WHAT'S GOING ON!?" The black haired exorcist sat up from her bed, screaming in fright. "Are akuma attacking!?" She demanded, looking at the person who woke her up. Kanda looked at her with annoyed expression, crossing his arms.
"Finally you're awake. Get off your ass Ushi, we're going to where G is."
"I AM NOT A COW!" Sol screamed, getting up and grabbing a pillow. She was just rudely woken up and didn't want to deal with prissy samurai right now. She walked towards Kanda with a killing intent, raising the pillow above her head. The female exorcist suddenly paused, blushing profusely. She happened to be wearing shorts with a shirt that wasn't very appropriate for walking around in, but comfortable to sleep in. Her blush deepened as Kanda just stood there. "GET OUT!" Sol chucked the pillow at Kanda and it smashed into his face.
"I'm leaving jeez." The samurai walked out of the room, dodging another pillow that Sol had thrown. He grabbed onto the door and slammed loudly. The female exorcist stood there, her body tense, but her muscles soon relaxed.
"That was embarrassing." She sighed, sitting back on the bed.

"This is where the voice came from?" Allen asked Marie as they arrived at a large building.
The older exorcist nodded his head, "They crying came from here." Sol looked at the building that they had arrived at. It was a good sized place. Smoke was coming out of the chimney and there happened to be a cross on top of the roof. If anything this was an orphanage.
Allen and Link walked up to the entrance, knocking on the door. The door swung open like a gust of wind had just opened it. There was a small child at the door.
"YOU PERVERTED BRAT!" Loudly screamed a lady's voice. A woman came out of now where, kicking the small boy in the back of the head. The boy's forehead collided with Allen's and they both collapsed on the street.
"A-Allen?" Sol yelled, walking over to the white haired teen. Blood was tricking down his forehead and it made a small puddle on the stone street. "Are you okay?" She asked failing her arms. Sol didn't know what to do as she tried to help Allen sit up.
Marie and Kanda walked over to the collapsed child. It seemed the boy was out cold. Allen had finally sat up and placed a gloved hand on his forehead. He looked at his hand, blood all over his white glove. "Wow," Link said looking at the blood that was all over Allen's hand.
"PWAAHHHH!" Allen suddenly burst out crying. Tears streaming down his face. "I'm bleeding! I'm dying!" The teen cried. Sol looked at Allen in astonishment. It was a lot of blood, but Allen must've had worse than this.
"You're crying over a small wound like that?" Link yelled his face twisting in frustration. Allen stopped crying when Link started to yell. He examined his face closely. Sol just looked at the albino in confusion. What the heck is going on? She whined inside her head.
"Wh-where's my body!" Allen looked from left to right, looking for something frantically. Kanda picked up the boy's body and showed it to Allen.
"You mean this one?"
"Y-yea-." Allen paused as Kanda took his sword to the child's throat.
"Now fess up if you don't this body unharmed."
