AN: This is the end. I'm not happy with this fic. I wrote it very badly. It's also very cliche. I'm sorry, but I made this chapter short...

Mossflower1234: I'm just going to say this now, the answer is yes.

v. s and KagamineLenakBananas: Happy you like it!

Devil'sAngel'sDeath: Don't worry she's not dead

crownclown25: Cliffhanger no more!

Chapter 17: I Have Remembered

Memories are a precious things

They bring us light like in the time of kings

But when darkness seeps within us

All we do is fuss

Those memories slowly turn to ashen dust

And then they all combust

So don't forget the good old days

Or you'll slowly start to rust

I remember now.

Who I am and who I was.

My brother became an exorcist when I was three. His innocence was a sword or should I say katana. He told me about akuma and told me about the earl. He sent me letters when he was gone. He wasn't suppose to but got away with it somehow. After two years, the letters stopped and I heard no more from my big brother. I lived in a church with very nice people. At age five, I wanted to find my brother. So I packed a bag and ran away from the church.

I was lasting surprisingly well for about three days. My luck ran out when some wolves awoke me one night. I climbed up a tree that I was sleep against. They stayed there all night and I didn't sleep at all. They left in morning and when I tired climbing down I slipped and fell.

I fell on my head. The tree was tall okay! Pretty lame way to lose memory...

My name I now remember. My name is still Sol, but I have a last name now.

Kanda.

That's my last name.

Heh, I guess Lavi was right...

XXXXXXX

Light slowly invaded Sol's eyes as she slowly opened them. Her head hurt like crazy and so did her abdomen. Her whole body was sore and she didn't want to move. As her eyes adjusted to the light, she found out she was in a room. She was on a bed with blankets over her. She could also feel something wrapped tightly around her head and stomach.

The female exorcist groaned and attempted to sit up. A shock of pain went through her though and then gave up on trying to sit up.

"Don't strain yourself idiot." The voice was Kanda. He sounded very irritated. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I a fell off a building." She smiled at herself and no response came from Kanda.

I wonder if he remembers me, She thought taking in a heavy breath. From whats happened these past days, I don't think he does.

I won't tell him.

It's best if I don't.

But I'll stay here right beside him.

AN: Yeah this ending is kind of depressing and I don't like it. BUT I MIGHT make a sequel IF D. Gray-Man ever continues in the manga! I'm going to start my next one soon. I'm more into that one than this one. My new D Gray man story is going to be called: To Recreate.

Happy you all read and reviewed. Thank you!
