My P.O.V.

"Hey, Pen-san," Lucy called over, looking down on me as I concentrated heavily on the laptop. My head was burning and my brain was fried, and I still have no idea what to do with this.

"Oh, hey Lucy…" I called, not looking over. "I'm just really stuck on this particular story that I've been working on…"

"Ooh, a story?" The blonde peered even further. "Levy, check this out! It's a story Pen-san wrote!" Levy, who was sitting with Gajeel by the dinner table, came over when she heard her blonde best friend's voice. Now I have two peering heads behind me, and I felt even more embarrassed about leaving a story unfinished.

"I-it's not finished yet…" I said, blocking the screen with my hands. "I'm just really stuck on it, and it's been months since I last caught up on it."

"Exactly how long have you been out of it?" The blue-haired script mage asked.

"About half a year…?" I asked more than answered. I'm not exactly sure how long it's been, but I'm pretty sure it's about that long already, probably even more so. I guess they'd be surprised, hearing their gasps of shock and all.

"One who cannot finish what they have started is either weak-willed or a coward." Erza suddenly said. Apparently she was listening in on our conversation and she looked very disappointed in me. "Since you worked on something that would prove to be entertainment for other people, you should really do your best to give them a good ending. Don't leave them hanging or they'll start dropping and thinking you've abandoned the story."

"I-I'm sorry…" I muttered. "It's just the writer's block I've been experiencing hasn't given me any chance to get back to the story. It's really frustrating to know that no matter how much you want to go back to a story, you just can't because your brain is like, "Nope, I'm going to sit here and pump air out of your head for the next few weeks. Have fun with that."." With a heavy sigh, I planted my hands on the ground and lifted myself up, folding the laptop and carrying it afterwards.

"I know what it feels like to have a writer's block, Pen-san." Lucy said comfortingly, patting my shoulder. "You'll get through it eventually."

"Yeah, you'll have your happy ending soon enough. Now help me find mine." Sting suddenly called out, jumping from the balcony from the library's second floor. "You promised to find me a hot girlfriend, remember?"

"I never said anything like that." I answered.

"Still, you owe me." The blonde dragon slayer insisted. "If I don't get a girlfriend by next week, I'll be taking out my frustrations on you." He smirked, showing off the dragon slayer trademark, those super pointy fangs.

"You're joking…" I chuckled, waving my other hand at him. His smirk didn't leave however, and he only shrugged in response before leaving the three of us to go back to his group upstairs.

"H-he's joking… Right?" I asked aloud. Even the two girls shrugged, and I suddenly felt a cold chill running down my spine.

"Yo, Pen-san!" Natsu shouted, coming towards us and tackling Lucy into a giant bear hug. He nuzzled against Lucy's neck and looked up at me and Levy. "Mira said that lunch would be ready soon, so I should call everyone to the down!"

"But you're tackling Lucy…" I muttered, pointing a finger at the two on the ground.

"I am?" He looked puzzled at first, but he generally had no idea that he tackled the blonde, so he looked very surprised to see that he was hugging Lucy. He blushed as he saw himself on top of her and quickly scrambled back up on his feet.

With a faint blush of pink covering his cheeks, he stutters, "I-I got to go and get the o-others now…" He chuckled awkwardly before dashing near the bookshelves where Ultear, Meredy, Gray, and Juvia were reading some encyclopedias about the history of this world. We helped Lucy up; she was a bit stunned looking at Natsu's direction with a smile on her face.

"That silly guy…" She sighed. "Well, you heard what Mira-san said. Lunch is almost ready."

"Yeah, I'll catch up to you later, okay?" I asked them, bowing in apology. "I still have some stuff to think about before they all completely disappear from my mind."

"Sure, okay." Levy answered. "Good luck on your story, Pen-san."

"I'm sure everything will turn out fine." The blonde waved off, giggling. "Just don't push yourself too hard, okay?"

"Okay~ See you guys later!" I exclaimed. They nodded and left for the dining room again, so I went to somewhere quieter, meaning the second floor of the library. As I climbed up, I saw Lisanna and Michael on top of the stairs poking each other on the cheek like a normal teenage couple would do. I waved to them, and they waved back, so they haven't been completely absorbed into poking each other for life.

"Oh, before I forget, Mira-san told everyone to come down and get ready for lunch." I said to them, stopping for a moment.

"Oh, Mira-nee said that?" Lisanna asked. "We should go down then; I'm looking forward to lunch!" She exclaimed, bringing a hand up to my cousin's chest.

"Yeah, I'm starving." Michael chuckled, scratching his head. "Thanks for the head's up, cuz."

"No problem." I left them as they started to get up so I could find a nice, quiet, and comfortable spot to work on my story. I still need to think of how to at least update this just to let my readers know I'm still alive or I'm not taken over by giant brainwashing moths that I believe would make an uprising in the near 2022. It's only a matter of time and… Ooh, there's Cana and Wendy.

"Cana, Wendy!" I called their attention. The card mage was doing some sort of divinity, so she didn't really respond to me, and the young dragon slayer held Charles in her arms, turning around and greeting me with a smile.

"Hello, Pen-san!" She exclaimed. "Cana-san was just telling me about finding out how lucky I'll be today!"

"Oh, really?" I asked. "So that's what she's up to. I thought she was figuring out how much alcohol she needs to conserve because there's not a single wine store here for miles." I chuckled a bit when I saw Cana's brow twitched. She was still really disappointed by the news. Suddenly, she had a moment and threw all her cards in the air, grabbing only three and leaving the rest on the table she was sitting on cross-legged. She showed the three cards to us with a smirk on her face.

"Good news, Wendy!" She said. "You're gonna be extraordinarily lucky today! The stars are with you today, so go and get crazy!"

"She will most certainly not be doing that." Charles deadpanned. "But it is great news, Wendy."

"Mm, that's right!" The blue-haired little girl exclaimed. "Thank you so much for reading my fortune today, Cana-san!"

"Oh, come on, it's the least I could do." She laughed, waving her hand while rearranging her cards. "I also know that you might have something to tell us. Isn't that right, Pen-san?"

"O-oh, me?" I asked in confusion. "Oh! You mean about Mira-san's announcement. She said that you should come down for lunch, it's almost ready."

"That's what I wanted to hear." She smirked, jumping off from the table and standing next to Wendy. "Alright, you heard the guy, Wendy. Let's go and get ready for lunch."

"Okay!" She answered, nodding. "But what about you, Pen-san? Aren't you going down for lunch, too?"

"Um, no, not yet…" I said. "I have a crisis involving a story that I'm working on…"

"A story?" She repeated. "What kind of story is it?"

"It's just a normal story," I said rather quickly. "But the problem is, I've gotten this huge writer's block and I haven't been able to work on it for moths. Now I don't know how my readers would react if I just updated like that."

"Oh…" She muttered, and then hummed as if thinking of something. Then, she blinked and smiled. "Why don't you try writing an apology chapter?" She suggested.

"Hmm, I guess I could use that." I answered. "But it would be really boring if it was just an apology chapter alone…"

"Yeah, yeah, we get it." Cana took a bottle of alcohol from her bag and drank a large amount in one gulp. "So write. The best thing to do when you have a block is to do exactly what's being blocked. You're being blocked from writing? You write, simple as that."

"Wow…" I said in awe, staring wide eyed at the brunette. "I never thought I'd get good writing advice from someone who's drunk almost every day…"

"You learn something new every day, kid." She winks and takes Wendy the hand and finally leaving for the dining room. So I checked my surroundings one more time, and figured I was the only one left up here. I sat down on a chair near Cana's spot and opened my laptop again. Staring at it won't actually help, so I should write like Cana said I would. I should just probably write whatever it is that comes to mind, and I have to apologize to everyone for having to wait so long…

My dearest readers,

Please forgive me for not being able to update this for a number of months, almost more than half a year. It's not that I've not been trying to update, but my sensei was right. When I enter college, I won't be able to update as much as I can. Studies have been taking over my schedule far more than I want it to be. Still, I will do my absolute best to update whenever I can, starting now. So I hope you stay faithful to my stories. I really love you guys from the bottom of my heart, so I'll really be thankful if you put up with me and my slow updates… Thanks again for always supporting me, and I'll do my best to pay you guys back, starting with finishing this VERY long story! XD Thanks again~

Ja Ne~

With a sigh, I tap the save button on the document and contemplated on whether or not I would post this as a pseudo-chapter.

"Well… It would be nice to let them know that I'm still alive, right?" I asked myself. Okay, after lunch, I'll be updating again. Let's just pray I don't get hunted down by mobs of angry fans for not updating so long… Did it just get cold here? Or is it just me?
