5 weeks later: October 21st 1998
Astraea's (Bella) POV
The past 5 weeks have been amazing I have been spending time with Jared when he was not busy. He knows everything about me and my family now. And I know all about his family. We have been on a few dates. I disguised us of course or we go to Port Townsend. Today we are going to meet Jared's family. They have invited me to dinner. So here I am getting dressed up I wore a green dress and 3 inch heels. My brown hair was curled to the side. I made sure my wand was in my pocket. Because I was going to tell his family about me being a witch.
"Bella! Jared is here", Charlie calls
"Coming!" I yell grabbing my purse
I walk down the stairs and I see Jared he looks at me with so much love in his eyes. I knew I was the most important person to him.
I kiss his lips and he kisses me back.
"Let's get going. My parents and siblings are waiting", Jared says pulling away
"Let's go see you Charlie", I say to my adoptive dad
"See you later", Charlie says chuckling as we walk out
Jared drives us his parents house. It was two story and made out of wood. It looked very homely.
"Ready?" Jared asks coming around to open my door
"Ready", I say stepping out taking his hand
Jared comes to the door and walks in.
"Mum, Dad we are here", Jared calls
I was nervous. How are they going to react to me? A man with black hair and brown eyes comes with a woman with black hair and hazel eyes.
"Hi I am Isabella Swan", I say using my adoptive name
"The Chief's daughter?" the woman asks
"Yes. But it is a bit more complicated", I say
"I am Leanne Cameron. It is a pleasure to meet you", Leanne says hugging me
"You too Mrs Cameron", I reply
"Please call me Leanne", Leanne says
"Ok Leanne", I say as she lets go
"I am James Cameron. Welcome to our home", James says
"Thank you Mr Cameron", I say
"Please call me James. Let's go into the living room so you can meet Jared's siblings", James says directing them to the living room
There were 4 people in the living room. 2 females and 2 males. The first one comes up to me.
"I am Elicia. I am 21", Elicia says
Elicia had black hair and hazel eyes.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Isabella Swan. But please call me Bella", I say
"Bella it is. I can see how happy you make Jared. I will not stand in the way of that", Elicia replies
"Thanks sis", Jared says from my side
"Hi I am Bryan I am 19", Bryan says smiling at me
Bryan had black hair and brown eyes
"I am Elyssa. I am 16", Elyssa says
Elyssa had black hair and brown eyes.
"I am Chad. I am 14", Chad says
Chad had black hair and hazel eyes.
"It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Jared has told me so much about you all. I feel like I know you all already", I say smiling
"I hope he hasn't said anything bad about us", Elicia replies
"No. Only nice things and funny stories about you all", I say with a wicked grin in Jared's direction
"Well we can give you stories about him. Would you like to hear some?" Elicia asks
Jared's face is priceless.
"No you won't be sharing any stories", Jared declarers
"But two", I say to Jared
Jared nods, "Let's all sit down. Bella and I have things to say to the family"
Jared leads me over to the sit and pulls me onto his lap. Everyone else takes seats around.
"Now dad I know you know what I am going to talk about. Bella already knows. She found out before me actually. But we need to tell the family. The Swans already know everything that includes Sue Clearwater and Charlie Swan", Jared says
"They are secretly married", I add
James's eyes go wide realising what we are talking about.
"So you know?" James asks me
"Know what?" Elicia asks
"I know. It is time they know", I say
"Who told you?" James asks
"Sue Clearwater-Swan and Paul Lahote", I reply
"What are you all talking about?" Leanne asks
James sighs, "You know I am part of the council here. All the legends that you were told are true. Jared is a werewolf"
"Shape-shifter", I correct
James nods at me.
"That can't be possible", Bryan says
"It is. Why don't you show them Jared?" James asks
Jared nods and helps me up and we all head outside.
"Jared just change here. I will fix your shorts. It will kill other display", I say
"Ok sweetheart. Keep the others back", Jared says walking away
The others had looked at me oddly but I tell them to watch Jared. Jared shakes and explodes into a dark brown wolf everyone but me and James gasps. Jared yaps at me and I run my hand through his fur.
"I take it you want me to fix your shorts and top?" I ask amused
He yaps in response. I take out my wand. That shocks everyone but Jared.
"Reparo!" I say pointing my wand at the ripped shorts and top
They immediately repair themselves.
"Accio!" I say
The clothes come to my hands
"Scourgify!" I say
The clothes quickly clean themselves of dirt and I put them in Jared's mouth.
He runs to the trees and changers back and comes and wraps his arms around me. And looks at his stunned family.
"Maybe we should go inside", Jared suggests
"Good idea", his father says still stunned
We go back inside and take seats. It takes them another 5 minutes to they can speak.
"What are you both?" his mother asks
"Shape-shifter", Jared replies
"Witch", I say softly
"Explain how you are a witch?" James asks
"You didn't think shape-shifters and vampires were the only magical creatures did you?" I ask amused
"I guess not. Did you imprint on Bella?" James asks
"What's an imprint?" Elicia asks
"It means a wolf finding there soul-mate. And yes I did. This beautiful witch is my imprint", Jared says kissing my cheek
"And this beautiful Wolf is my soul-mate", I say kissing him
"Is there anything else we need to know?" James and Leanne ask
So I tell them my story and Jared tells his it was 8'oclock before we finished.
"I am so sorry for what you have been through", Leanne says to me squeezing my hand
"Thanks. I am over that now. I have Jared with me", I say smiling at her
"Let's eat. And you can tell us more stories", Leanne says getting up
We follow her into the dining room and eat dinner. All of us sharing stories. I had a great night. At the end of the night Jared takes me home. I told him I really enjoyed his family. He was happy I did. Now all we have to do is tell the pack…
