Even After

Chapter 6: Decadence.

Summary: Lucy comes home to an unexpected event. What will Lucy do know? Natsu feels horrible after what happened. Lisanna doesn't feel as bad as Natsu? Just what is Lisanna planning?

As we entered the rowdy guild, a table flew right past Sting's head.

"What the fuck?!" Sting yelled as he avoided the table.

"Sorry about that, Sting-kun. The guys seem to be having another fight." Mira said as she wiped a glass clean.

"Tch. Idiots. Hey, have you seen Lucy?" Sting asked the barmaid.

Suddenly her expression turned crestfallen.
"Lucy's in the infirmary.. She got into a fight with Lisanna and she's badly injured." Mira said sadly.

"WHAT?!" Sting yelled out loudly, stepping closer to the barmaid.

"Sting! Calm down. You're attracting unnecessary attention." Rogue said irritated.

" How do you expect me to keep calm when Lucy's badly injured?!" Sting yelled even louder.

"A-Ah, you guys can go see her if you want." Mira said.

"Thanks Mira." Sting said impatiently, walking past the barmaid, up the stairs to the infirmary.

Sting's P.O.V

I rushed up the stairs quickly, impatient to get to Lucy. I opened the door roughly and scoped the room, looking for the blonde celestial mage. I spotted her lying on a bed at the side of the room, I ran towards her.

"Lucy.." I said softly as I caressed her face gently.

"Sting, is she okay?" Rogue asked, walking up to me alongside the two exceeds.

"Not really. She looks really badly injured." I said slowly as I pulled her blanket off and pushed her top up and inspected her injuries.

"I-Is Lucy-chan okay?" Frosch asked as he wiped his eyes clean of his tears.

"Her right arm is partly-broken, her stomach has some nasty claw marks on them and from the amount of blood on her bandaged head, she probably hit her head hard too." I choked out slowly.

Rogue came up next time me, his eyes widening slowly.
"W-Who could have done this much damage to her?" He spat out angrily.

I turned my head to look at Rogue, a little shocked. It was not very often Rogue got angry like this and when he gets angry, it's a scary experience.

I turned my gaze back to Lucy's injured form.
"I'm not sure but I might have hunch on how did it." I said slowly.

Rogue looked at me.
"Who?" He asked impatiently.

"Lisanna." I said slowly.
"Lisanna..?" He said with disbelief.
"Yeah. Think about it, she was the last one to be seen with Lucy and who would want to attack them both? We both know Lisanna and Lucy aren't on good terms. It's the most logical explanation." I explained.

Rogue nodded his head slowly.

"So Lisanna did this to Fairy-san?" Lector asked angrily.

"I'm not sure. It's not really good to jump to conclusions. But it's the only thing I can think of." I said as I looked at Lector.

Lucy's P.O.V

I groaned in pain, feeling excruciating pain from my injuries. I opened my eyes slowly and blinked away the blurriness. I looked up and saw Sting and Rogue talking about something. I propped myself on my elbows and pushed myself up slowly.

"G-Guys?" I said slowly.

"LUCY!" Sting said as he hugged me gently, careful not to press against my injuries. "How are you feeling?" He asked, voice laced with concern and worry.

"My injuries really hurt but other than that, I'm doing fine I suppose." I said as I gave him a weak smile.

"Good good. Lie back down, you should get as much rest as you can get." He said as he pushed me back down gently.

I pushed him away. "Nooo, I already slept a lot." I whined, pouting.

"Lucy, he's right. You wouldn't want to reopen your wounds now would you?" Rogue said as he raised an eyebrow at me.

Just at that moment, Natsu, Gray and Erza came barging in.

"LUCYY!" Natsu yelled, running towards me in top speed.

"N-Natsu, come down." I said, sweat-dropping.

Natsu was about to jump on me when Erza grabbed him by the back of his shirt.
"Calm down, idiot. Lucy still hasn't fully recovered, if you jump on her now, her wounds will reopen." Erza said sternly.

Natsu pouted and crossed his arms, looking away.
"Whatever.." He said softly. Erza dropped him on the floor and walked up to me, "How are you doing Lucy?" She asked as she smiled warmly.

"I'm doing alright, my injuries really hurt though." I said, smiling back at her. "
That's good. You should get more rest." She said.

She turned and saw Sting, Rogue and the two exceeds.
"Oh. Hello. I didn't see you guys there." Erza said apologetically.

"Ahaha, Hi Erza-san." Sting said politely.
"Do you guys know who did this to Lucy?" Rogue asked ignoring her greeting.
"No but Lucy claims it's Lisanna attacked her but that doesn't make sense because Lisanna was injured as well." Gray said, rubbing his chin.
"It's obvious! Would why I lie about this? Lisanna never liked me, so she attacked me and beat herself up to make it look like I fought back, but of course I didn't. Why won't you guys believe me..?" I said as I looked down at my hands, clenching my fists tightly.

Suddenly a hand patted my head gently. "It's okay Lucy, I believe you."
I looked up and saw Sting smiling widely at me.

I blushed slightly and smiled back at him.
"Thanks Sting."

Normal P.O.V

Master Makarov walked in slowly, with a piece of paper in his hand.
"Hello children. Ah, Lucy, good to see you're up." He said as he smiled.

Lucy looked at him and smiled gently, "Yeah, feels good to be awake."

"What're you holding in your hand, Master?" Gray asked curiously.
"Ah.. This is a letter from Lisanna." He said slowly.

His grip on the paper tightened.

"She quit Fairy Tail and has joined Raven Tail."
