Pit was staring at the person who had woken him.

"V-… Viridi?" Pit asked, as he was feeling woozy and wasn't quite sure it was really her.

"Yeah, of course" Viridi said. "You were unconscious for about an hour. I took you back to my lair, and I was very worried about you.

"Aw, thanks Viridi. That's very kind of-"

Viridi slapped him.

"WHY DID YOU WORRY ME LIKE THAT!"

"Well..." Pit said, rubbing his cheek.

"And why would you continue to fight the Underworld army without any advanced equipment? I WANT ANSWERS, PIT!"

Pit rubbed his head and moaned. Viridi's expression quickly changed from angry to concerned.

"Pit… I'm sorry. I hadn't realized how much they hurt you."

Pit smiled. Through his training, he had learned to recover quickly and therefore, he was not feeling any pain at all. However, he knew he'd have more sympathy from Viridi if he feigned his pain.

"Ugghhhh…" he said. "My arm…"

"Your arm hurts?" Viridi asked. "Well, hang on, I will go get you an ice pack."

As Viridi walked away, Pit couldn't help but notice how amazingly buetiful she was. Well, Pit thought, she is a goddess after all. Pit was dreamily looking at her long, blonde hair and decided he would pretend to be sick as long as possible.

"Here," Viridi said, "This is for your arm, and I made you some hot soup, too."

"Thanks Viridi," Pit said "You can be nice when you try."

Viridi smiled. Pit tried to eat some of the soup, but he quickly discovered the soup was even hotter than a 9.0 Fiend's-Cauldron. His tongue was burned and he spit the soup all over Viridi. She stumbled backward over the counter, and pots fell all over her, some with boiling water on them. Viridi tried to get up, but she accidently grabbed the light switch, and since she was wet with the water, she was electrocuted. Afterward, she used the string hanging from the ceiling fan to support her as she tried to get up, but she pulled it off the ceiling and it crashed right down on her. Next, she-

"HEY!" Viridi yelled at the narrator. "Will you stop talking before I become even more injured!"

Pit was at a complete loss for words. He got up, feigning a limp (and resisting the urge to burst out laughing) he walked over to Viridi. "I'm sorry" He said weakly, as if he was very sick and hurt from the battle. "Please forgive me."

Viridi was, at first, furious with Pit. But seeing him limp over in all his pain just to apologize made it impossible for even Viridi to be mean.

"Oh, Pit… It's fine. It was just an accident."

"Here, let me help you clean up" Pit offered.

"No, you go rest. I will clean this later." Viridi said.

As Pit was resting, he had to tell Viridi what he was thinking.

"Viridi, I really appreciate this help. I would have been dead without you."

"Yeah? Well, yknow. Whatever."

"No, seriously. I owe you big."

"Ah, Pit… you don't owe me anything. I'm happy to help you. I've known about the Underworld invasion, and I came there specifically to watch you, make sure you and Pittoo were alright. When I saw all the troops ganging up on you… I knew I had to bring you here. I have to protect you, Pit. We can't afford to lose you. You serve everyone and have a grwat heart." She smiled at Pit.

"Wow" Pit said. "Lady Palutena never looked out for me like that."

Wait, what am I saying? Pit thought. Lady Palutena looks out for me way more than Viridi does… but… Viridi seems to be happy that I appreciate her help. Almost as if she… does not completely hate me.

"Hey" Pit pointed out. "If you are here, and you knew about the invasion, why didn't you send your troops?"

"My troops? Ugh. Those seldish brats thought they deserved a 'vacation' and took of for the month. Jerks. They're not as… kindhearted as you."

Viridi leaned forward toward Pit, who suddenly became very nervous. She then kissed him, right there. Pit was taken aback at first, but then, he decided to kiss back.

"RIIIIING! RIIIIINNNGGG!" The phone rang.

"Darn it!" Viridi screamed. She picked up the phone. "HELLO!"

"Hi, its Palutena. You know about the Underworld invasion?"

"Duh! But I'm in the middle of something right now!"

"Well, you see Viridi, I need your help. Pittoo and I do not know where Pit is."

"I took care of him." Viridi said. "He's still in pain though."

"Pain?" Palutena said, confused. "Pit doesent feel any pain an hour after any attack."

"But he is telling me he is in pain! He's moaning!" Viridi said.

"He's lying." Palutena confirmed.

"Excuse me for a second."

Viridi walked over to Pit and slapped him.

"Okay," Viridi said. "Pit and I will be over in a few minutes to discuss how we will deal with the Underworld army."
