Before I begin, I'd like to say something.

One reviewer mentioned a good point hat I hadn't considered before. He/she said that Pit and Viridi would not have to tell Palutena at all, because she can see everything. After pondering a bit, I feel ready to address this point:

I don't think Palutena would know, without them telling her. The only part of the game I remember where this applies is when she jokes about an "all seeing eye of Palutena" just to screw with Pit. Now, she is a goddess, so she probably is able to see more than, say, Pit or Dark Pit, but if she was ble to see everything, wouldn't she know it was Hades, and not Medusa, who was the main threat of the game? Wouldn't she have known that Hades would tear up the credits? Unless she did know, and was once again screwing with Pit, but, for the purposes of this story, she doesn't know about anything going on between Pit and Viridi.

Pit, Viridi, Pittoo, and Palutena were on their way to Medusa's Lair.

"Whew." Pit said. "Looks like we're safe, Viridi! The above text assures us that-"

Viridi shoved a pie in his face to keep him quiet.

"Where is everyone getting all these pies from?" Palutena asked. "I only ordered 1 pie from the restaurant, but it seems like each one of us has been hit with a pie at least once since Poseidon called."

"Has it ever occurred to you," Dark Pit thought, "That this whole thing is just Poseidon screwing with us? We had no trouble until he called up, and maybe he was planning to push that big red button to get rid of whatever those troops were and be all, gotcha!"

"I highly doubt that." said Palutena. "First of all, those troops were legitimately trying to hurt you, second, the big red button had "MEDUSA" in code written on it, third, Poseidon may be God of the sea, but he cannot make a portal to spawn underworld troops, and fourth, Poseidon is too lazy to pull anything this elaborate, or anything at all."

"Well," said Pittoo, "Thanks for making me feel dumb."

They arrived at Medusa's lair and found her. Medusa was trying to style her hair, but the snakes kept biting her hand.

"SNAKES!" she screamed. "Of all things to have my hair made out of, why did it have to be snakes!"

"Medusa!" Viridi screamed. "You have some explaining to do!"

"Ugh" she sighed. "What do you want."

"There were Underworld troops spawning by the sea palace, and we found this button with your name on it!" Viridi showed Medusa the button.

"Are you illiterate?" Medusa said. "That is not how to spell my name."

"Very funny." Viridi said. "Next time you write something in code, don't use a Caesar shift. They're very easy to figure out."

Note to self… Medusa thought. Change my fanfiction password later… I have that in Caesar code too.

"Okay." She admitted. "I found a way to make more troops to fight Hades should he reanimate. Rumor has it that he might be, and I do not want him to be in charge again. He was the worst boss ever, he pays really low, allows very few personal days, and always eats all the cornbread at company parties, even though he never brings in any himself."

"What's the button for?" Palutena asked.

"Well, if Hades did reanimate before I was finished, I didn't want him to know I was trying to fight him. This job does provide me with good benefits."

"Then why were they attacking Poseidon's castle?"

"Yeah, I may have had a bit of trouble controlling them…"

"So do you know how Hades might reanimate?"

"Well, I have a theory that- … What are you doing, Pit!"

Pit figured out the password for Medusa's fanfiction account and was reading her stories.

"Seriously?" Pit asked. "Twilight fanfics? Writings about Justin Beiber? And look at this! It's just pages and pages about how amazing Taylor Lautner's abs are!"

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" She shouted. Everyone hurried out.

"Well, what should we do now?" Viridi asked.

"We should ask some of the other gods if they know anything about Hades' reanimation." Said Palutena. "Let's start with Poseidon. He is the one most connected to this incident…"
