Despite the bustle of the previous day none of the friends slept in very long. Perhaps the beds were so plushy and invited sleep so quickly and deeply, energy was restored in the same amount of time. Or perhaps the Tower was so magic it had that effect on those who slumbered.

Kairi for one was torn when she woke up. Go find Rachel and Bryan and get a tour of the Tower? She'd been eager to see the magical place ever since Sora first talked about it from his adventure. Or stay curled up in a warm cozy ball? Oh the agony of such a decision. Eventually she made herself crawl out of bed, waved goodbye to a dolphin and left.

Kairi and Riku exited their rooms at about the same time. They only had to wait a few moments before Sora got up. Of course Sora described his bed like a squashy warm marshmallow. No wonder he didn't want to get up. Why leave comfy cozy when you don't have to?

The trio agreed to go down to the kitchen. If Rachel and Bryan were up already that's probably where they were waiting. Their assumption was correct. The siblings were standing outside the kitchen door and casually tossed and orb back and forth while making small talk. Seger the Fire Wolf lay casually at Bryan's feet. He jerked up his head when the three of them approached with a deep growl in his throat. The Spirit cast suspicious looks on all of them even though he'd met them before. Bryan did say back on the island his wolf was slow to trust. Now they had a better idea of just how slow.

"Where is Fantasia?" Kairi asked Rachel. She liked the unicorn. Of course she didn't really have expected Fantasia, the size of a full grown horse to be around the Tower. It would be like keeping a pet hippo indoors.

"One of the Gardens in the Tower is all forests and meadows. She spends most of her time there if I don't call her. We'll show you those later."

"There are gardens inside the Tower?" Sora asked.

"We'll show you those after breakfast." Bryan said.

"Have you been able to bring the other spirits you told us about to the real world yet?" Kairi asked Rachel.

"Not yet. Won't be long though. The Blue Moon will rise in Pixie Hollow in a while and Queen Clarion promised us another pouch."

"This time I hope we can bring all three in. Otherwise one of them will have to wait by itself in Traverse Town for another eight years." Bryan said.

"Eight years?"

"That's how long it takes between the rising of the Blue Moon in NeverLand."

The kitchen was already prepared with a breakfast fit for a king. It was like when Rachel made breakfast on Destiny Island. No cut corners. Golden waffles were stacked high in the center of the table. The steam rising from the pile was a glorious sight to behold. On either end, there was a tray of sausages and bacon and a basket of assorted muffins. There were butters, honey, jams and jellies, syrup, pitchers of milk, orange and apple juice and a cornucopia of apples, grapes, bananas and pears.

"Wow!" Sora exclaimed when he saw the set-up. "Do you guys eat like this all the time?"

"For the most part," Bryan said.

After the grand tour got underway Rachel and Bryan showed them only the most interesting parts of the Tower. They showed them the practice grounds for both physical and magical training. Riku had asked about the out-of-dimensional obstacle course thingy he and Rachel had talked about on the ship. Bryan advised against it. Running the course could take quite a while and would be unwise to run without proper preparation for what they'd be in for. But it seemed likely one day Sora and Riku would be called to the Tower to take the Mark of Mastery exam and Kairi be taught how to once again carry a Keyblade. Running the course together one day just seemed inevitable.

They saw the potion room, a discipline Rachel hadn't delved much into much for her fear of making the wrong measurements. In baking, a skill she loved, not following the recipe exactly was ok. The worse that could happen would be an odd texture, burning or just not tasting ok. In potion making, a slight alteration of the ingredients could easily be the difference between phenomenal cosmic powers and being turned into a beetle for a few hours. They were very careful not to touch anything.

They met Tatania the Tower Cat in the library, lying on her favorite chair. She entwined around everyone's ankles and let everyone know with her jade green stare that all they beheld belonged to her. Kairi picked up the silky tower cat and made a comment about feeling very small in the library. Sora said it had to be at least three times bigger than the one in the Radiant Garden castle. They could barely believe it when Bryan said Master Yen Sid claimed to have read every single one of them at least once, and looking around, there had to be thousands.

Next they went down a hall of exquisite doors on both sides going all the way down. Seger had been accompanying them up until that point because he lived to be with his master. However, touring familiar places for the sake of people whom he didn't really care about got painfully dull for the wolf and he left.

Bryan introduced the location as The Hall of Gardens, for behind each door a different garden was in full bloom all the time. Elegant plaques on the doors identified what kind of garden it contained. Most were for flowers. Others had fountains or sculptures. Some were tranquil landscapes like waterfalls, beaches, mountain trails or flower fields. A few had a different mazes. Some made of tall hedges, others of flowering bushes or lattice mazes so thick with vine flowers it was almost impossible to see the other side. Others still had buildings such as a quiet cottage, a water mill or farmhouse. They took a quick look into the one where Rachel said Fantasia lived and said hello to the dream unicorn. Sora, Riku and Kairi each picked one they wanted to see. Another day they'd come back to explore the rest.

"Not that one," Bryan told Kairi.

"Why not?" She asked. She'd chosen a door with a quaint wooden cabin in a bright fall forest.

"That's where the Good Fairies live."

"The Good Fairies are here too!?" Sora exclaimed. "They didn't go back to their own world?"

"They can, Master Yen Sid offered them this place in the meantime. So they go between the two. They don't usually come to the tower unless invited but we ask them over for tea once in a while."

"So why can't we say hello?"

"Because Master Yen Sid doesn't know you're here." Rachel reminded. "You'll remember we said that he told us he had urgent business to discuss with King Mickey and would be gone a while. We took advantage of his absence to see you."

"If we had just visited Destiny Island I don't think he'd have a problem." Bryan continued.

"And we don't know how he'd feel about us gallivanting throughout the worlds with you guys." Rachel said.

"And you don't want the fairies to know because they might give you away?" Kairi asked.

"Or be guilty by association depending on which way the situation rolls." Rachel said.

After the gardens, the Masters finally showed their friends their room.

"I can't believe the way you two have been living?" Riku said. "Four-poster beds? Silk pillows? You even have your own fireplaces."

"Oh yeah and watch this!" Rachel leaned underneath the sapphire blue drapes of her bed and jabbed her pinkie finger sharply upward. Immediately the woven constellations began lighting up as the soothing monotone voice recited their names.

"And don't forget an always-ready kitchen." Bryan reminded.

"And a library." Rachel added.

"And training yard."

"And near unlimited tower access."

"And a ship."

"Near unlimited?" Sora inquired.

"There are places Master Yen Sid has told us we can't go." Bryan said. "Like his private quarters and personal study areas."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he's got a private library with books and spells and all sorts of knowledge that would be dangerous in the wrong hands." Rachel said. "I'm sure he'll share some with us at some point. As Masters all sorts of knowledge and powers are available to us. The stronger we get, the more we get to know.
