I say that I don't own or pretend to have any kind of ownership affiliation to Disney or Square Enix largely because I know the one time I don't somebody will get their feathers up that I'm claiming these are all my original ideas.

In Riku's dream "Soon You'll Come Home" is the song Rachel sings and is originally from Don Bluth's All Dogs go to Heaven.

Yes, "Skeletons on Parade" is a real song. Quite catchy too. One I'm sure Jack Skellington would be thrilled to hear.

Don't know how many of you know this, but the names Sora, Riku and Kairi are derived from words that mean sky/air, land/earth and sea/water. Wonder how many picked up on the themes of the guest bedrooms at the Tower they chose matched the base meanings of their names.

Yes, I am a Whovian for those of you who picked up on my allusions to the Master and The Sound of Drums (really cool song too, The Sound of Drums by Chameleon Circuit) as Bryan is explaining why he's always tapping out something. The real-life inspiration of Bryan, I kid you not, does the same thing all the time. So I figured I'd make a reference for my fellow Whovians to hopefully pick up on hidden within a real occurrence.

In Rachel's world, The Singing Spot mentioned in Centaur Valley is a real place. When I was renting a place for college, the property had a creek behind it that babbled and sang because of all the branches left behind from a beaver dam a long time ago. Such a peaceful, lovely sound so I dubbed the location, The Singing Spot.

The comment made about Bryan knowing how to tie all kinds of knots is actually true. The real-life inspiration for Bryan's character is an Eagle Scout where he learned and did exceptionally well with the different knots. Perfect guy to have with you on a camping trip.

As some of you cool people may have recognized, the "curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal" speech was recycled from the magnificent one-hit-wonder TV series, Firefly. I had just finished rewatching it on Netflix when I wrote that scene and found it fit very well with the scene on the beach so I felt I had to use it and hopefully coax a smile out of readers who may also be Firefly fans.

No, the green flash was not a direct reference to Pirates 3. The green flash is a real thing I first read about in a book by Peter Benchley back in the 5th grade. And I needed to fill chapters space so I added it in.

Yes, the sparkling shard mentioned in the epilogue is supposed to be a piece of that blue star Mickey used to travel through the worlds in Birth By Sleep.

Back when KH2 came out and I saw the ending scene with Kairi bringing the message in a bottle to Sora and Riku, I took it to be the instruction or notification of the next adventure. And as I have mentioned before in the forward comments of Act 3, I'm ignoring the existence of KH: Recoded completely. I only watched the cutscenes of that game and honestly didn't see its purpose in the grand scheme of the KH plot. According to Recoded, King Mickey wrote the message in the bottle, explaining what Sora needed to know based on what he'd learned from the events of the Data Scape. I like the idea of the message being instructions to what their next adventure would be, hence how I wrote it now.

Please excuse any spelling errors you may come across. I swear I read these over many, many times before I post them. It usually takes at least six readings before I'm satisfied I can't change anything else to strengthen it. But when I look them over again on FanFic the mistakes stand out so badly. I know how to spell, I promise.

Until next time, guys! Thanks for reading!
