Chapter 23: Countdown to chaos Part 2.
The Kunoichi let out a cough as she stood up to her feet. She stood up confidently and faced her long time creation, NomiRandy. But now he was out and free like any human being. He now calls himself Jack Cunningham and has a wicked mind than he had the last time he was out.
"Well whatever name you're going with doesn't matter. I'm taking you down. But before I do, I want to know, how you escaped. I thought I destroyed you." The Kunoichi said boldly.
"No way, ma." Jack put up a smug look and walked to his right, "You can't kill a conscious; it's not in your blood. So instead you had me taken and put me in the slammers. But when you became human the slammers became smaller and all I had to do was nudge it." From this point his voice raised higher and sinisterly, "That's why you felt down, I was breaking free and now that I'm out of the slammers I'll get that shoob, Randy, out of."
"Wait, then what about me?" The Kunoichi asked, offended a bit, "I'm the one that locked you away, so you're suppose to be after me."
Jack shrugged, "Heh, that's true but I can't kill my mom."
"Mom?"
"Yes." Jack answered with a cocked grin, "You created me so that makes you my mom and Randy my dad. But I'm still going to destroy him and take over his life."
The Kunoichi was a bit taken back by what she said, but got over it. She tightened her grip on her sword and directed it at Jack, "I can't have you do that, so I suggest you surrender. P.S I got a sword and a suit so you know how this will end up."
Jack frowned, "Yes, you do. But I…" A grin took over, "can do the same."
The Kunoichi gasped as she saw Jack bring out a Ninja mask from his pocket. He saw the shocking look in her eyes and wore the mask over him. Suddenly, multiple red and black stripes came from the mask and wrapped all over his body. When the transformation was complete, he did serious ninja kicks and flips as a dark red version of the Norisu Nine symbol appeared in the background.
Jack laughed, "I am Jack Cunningham, the evil Ninja of Norrisville."
The Kunoichi was slightly shocked by this but remained silent. Instead she grips her sword tightly and charged at Jack directly with a battle cry. Jack saw her coming and quickly drew out his sword, "Let's dance, ma."

Theresa kept running and jumping, mostly to avoid getting caught. She had gotten used to the Ninja suit and used it to her advantage to destroy security cameras that watched the halls. She didn't know where to go and that troubled her greatly. In fact it clouded her mind so much that she didn't see somebody knock into her, forcing her and the person to fall down.
"Oh, what the juice?" Theresa groaned, rubbing her head. She looked at the person responsible and became wide eyed, "Heidi?"
"Andy?" Heidi gasped.
Theresa shook her head, "No, it's me Theresa." She realized what she said and closed her mouth, "Oops."
Heidi too realized what she said and tried to cover up by using Theresa's mistake to her advantage. She got off the ground, "Wait, how are you the Ninja? I thought the Ninja is an immortal teen."
"Well that's what I thought until this happened." Theresa replied and got up, "So why did you say Andy? Which I know you meant to say Randy."
"Well…I…um." Heidi said before coming up with an idea, "I hit my head so hard I said his name."
"Oh, that makes sense." Theresa said with no trace of suspicion. She was just about to say something but was cut off by the mechanical footsteps of robo-apes. Quickly, she grabbed Heidi's hand and sprinted off, "Come on. We have to find somewhere to hide."
Heidi allowed her to lead her, mostly because she couldn't get her hand free because of Theresa's strong grip. What does this girl do to have such a grip?
*****************************************************(LINE BREAK)*********************************************
After a while, the two managed to hide in a closet. The space was big enough, so both girls weren't pushed against each other. While there, Theresa explained as much as she could about what happened to Randy and the rest of the town. She also told Heidi about Mcfist being evil, hoping Heidi can use her media influence to stop him.
Heidi listened to her, but made it clear that she couldn't do anything to expose Mcfist. She also pretended to be shock to avoid any chance of suspicion.
"So what are you doing here?" Heidi asked.
"Isn't it obvious that?" Theresa gave her a look before continuing, "I'm trying to find the thing responsible for what's keeping everyone in that trance."
Heidi went silent for a while. She remembered something like that when she hacked a computer mainframe on the wall –which wasn't hard to do considering the password is Marci. She found the location of the transmitter and ran off to find the Kunoichi or the Ninja, knowing either one of them would be in the place.
"I think I know a place." Heidi said and explained, "When I was running I managed to get into a small computer mainframe and hacked it. I found something like a huge transmitter at the upper level of the building and I think that's what you're looking for." Heidi stopped and noticed a look Theresa was giving her, "What?"
"Oh nothing." Theresa said sheepishly, "I just heard you say you hacked something."
"Hey, for your information I can handle a computer." Heidi said a little offended, "Besides, dumb Mcfist made his password his wife name."
Soon enough, they got out of the closet and ran off, but also being cautious. They sneaked all the way through the hall and avoided robots patrolling the place. Theresa destroyed the security cameras to avoid them getting caught, especially with Heidi in it. Mcfist is a fan of her show and if he finds out she's helping the Ninja then that would be very bad.
Eventually, they got to the upper level of the building and stood at the side of a triangle shape metal door. Heidi stood at the right and Theresa stood at the left. The door slide open and both girls poke their heads at the same time. They saw a triangle shape room with metal walls and the same color of the building. But right in the middle of room was the transmitter.
The transmitter resembled a satellite dish but was twelve feet tall in width and length. It stood on a long stand that made it go through a wide hole in the roof. Heidi and Theresa looked around for any sign of security but surprisingly there wasn't.
"Huh, well this is easy." Theresa said before walking inside.
Heidi became alarmed and ran after her, "What are you doing? This might be a trap."
Theresa froze, "Say what?"
Suddenly, the ground below them opened and both girls fell in with a scream. Theresa reacted easily, while screaming, and threw her Ninja scarf, "Ninja scarf!" Luckily, it flew and caught the edge, suspending her fall. Heidi was able to grab Theresa's leg, stopping her along.
"Phew, that was close." Theresa sighed in relief.
Heidi looked up to her and shot an accusing glare, "Close? You nearly got us killed. It's just a good thing you're the Ninja."
"Yes…" Mcfist came into view from the top, "and I hate it. Seriously, Ninja, can't you just fall down and be destroyed."
"Not going to happen, Mcfist." Theresa spoke up.
Mcfist chuckled, "That's what you think. By the way, who's with you? I heard voices."
"I…um…" Theresa tried to think of an idea. Since Heidi was below her, Mcfist wasn't able to see her well. Theresa kept muttering some excused until she came up with one, "I was talking with myself."
Heidi wanted to hit herself for such a stupid excuse but remained quiet. She peeked from below Theresa and noticed Mcfist thinking about it. Luckily, he fell for it as he shrugged, "Whatever. It's weird to do that but I have other things to do, so let's get this over with."
Suddenly the top closed, cutting the scarf in a single slice. Both Theresa and Heidi were once again sent falling but this time with no way to stop. They screamed as they kept falling before hitting the ground with a thud.
"Ow!" Both girls shouted when their butts hit the ground.
The ground they fell on was obviously hard, but the place they were in was too dark to see. Theresa let out a groan as she got off the ground, "Heidi, are you okay? Where are you?"
"I'm here." Heidi's voice came from behind Theresa, "And I'm fine."
Theresa turned to the direction she heard Heidi and said, "Okay, so where do you think…" She was about to ask but then the lights flashed to life. Heidi was surprise about it and the first thing she did was run to the wall of the room.
Theresa was left to stand on her own. She was about to join Heidi but a voice came up from speakers in the room.
"Hello, Ninja." The voice came from Mcfist.
Theresa looked up with a long window and found Mcfist and Viceroy standing there, obviously from another room. The evil villain had a mischievous grin on his face as he felt proud of his accomplishment, "For so long I've tried to capture you and failed, but now you're here! Did you think, I, Hannibal Mcfist won't upgrade my system when you kept breaking in?! But now I've got you!" He then turned to Viceroy, "Release the robots!"
"Really? Robots?" Theresa made a proud fake laugh, "I took those ones while I was coming here you think I can't handle them."
Mcfist looked back at her with a bigger grin, "I don't know about that girly voice, but I'm sure you recognize this two."
Before Theresa could ask, a door slide open and two recognizable robots walked through. Theresa became wide eyed at their sizes and even recognized the one standing next to a larger one. The first one was big and bulk with the usual Mcfist color (The robot is worn by Mcfist in Mcfists of fury) but the other one was smaller and slimmer.
"Ninja, meet Lucius Thunderpunch and the other robot I didn't name." Mcfist spoke up then shot a shot directly at Theresa, "Now get him!"
The robots eyes glows a flash of green and soon both charged at her. Theresa gulped and jumped back just in time to receive a punch from the bigger robot. But Lucius directly charged at her and punched her in the stomach, sending her flying to the ground. Theresa let out a grunt and got up to her feet. She searched into her suit and brought out her ninja baton.
"Okay, that's it. How about some of this!" Theresa shouted before throwing the baton straight at Lucius.
However, the bigger robot jumped right in front of Lucius and swats it away. It then changed its hands into laser blasts and shot two green blasts at her. Theresa shrieked a bit before jumped far to the right.
"Come on. There has got to be something useful here." Theresa muttered to herself as she searched her suit. She searched rapidly before she took out three Ninja rings, "Yes!" She cheered. She then heard hard footsteps and found both robots heading towards her. She quickly held the rings and threw them at the robots, "Ninja rings."
Her attack flew straight at the robots but since the bigger one was in front it bounced off it. Theresa flustered, "I…um…let's see here." She said and searched the suit before holding a red ball, "Um, what is this?"
Theresa would have continued but Lucius suddenly flew straight at her and attempted to punch her. Luckily, Theresa jumped to the left and threw the ball. It hit the robot at the shoulder and that entire had fell off.
"Yes!" Theresa exclaimed.
But the time for victory was far from over. The bigger robot ran straight at her and grabbed her with its giant hand. Theresa attempted to break free but she couldn't. The only thing she could do was mutter, "I hope Heidi is helping me somehow. If not then I'm…" She gulped, "good as gone."
***********************************************************(LINE BREAK)**************************
When the fight had started, Heidi went through the door the robots came through before it closed. She found herself in long hallway and checked around for anyway out. She looked around and found a ventilation shaft. With a plan in mind, she removed it and entered the ventilation system. She went through with some difficulty such as going up. Fortunately, she succeeded and was successful to move around it. Then she got to somewhere that she heard two familiar voices.
Heidi looked down through some spaces in a shaft she came across and found Mcfist and Viceory watching the battle Theresa was going through.
"Yes! The Ninja is finally going to be destroyed!" Mcfist exclaimed.
"Indeed he is." Viceroy nodded with a skeptic look. His eyes were on the Ninja the entire time and now he was beginning to notice something was wrong. Concluding it was, he turned to Mcfist, "Isn't it odd the Ninja didn't put up much of a fight. And besides that, what's with the girly voice out of the sudden."
Mcfist shrugged, "Perhaps its puberty."
"Puberty?" Viceroy held the urge to give himself a facepalm, "That's not puberty, Hannibal."
"So what's your point?" Mcfist asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm just saying that maybe that isn't the…" Viceroy would have completed but a metal object hit him from the back of his head. Due to the unsuspected attack, Viceroy fell to the ground unconscious.
"Huh…" Mcfist looked back at the unconscious Viceroy on the floor, "Viceroy, are you okay?" But then he heard a footstep and looked back, only to see a square ventilation shafting coming straight at his face, "Uh oh."
Soon enough, Mcfist was hit by the object and fell on Viceroy. With both villains unconscious, Heidi dropped the ventilation shaft and walked to the controls. She saw the microphone on it and spoke into it, "Hey, Theresa I'm over here. How are you doing?"
Back in the battle room, Theresa tried again to break free from the bigger robot's grip but to no avail. She heard Heidi voice through the speakers and rolled her eyes and said sarcastically, "Oh sure, I'm fine. Just take your time. It's not like I'm going to be killed or anything!"
Theresa suddenly heard the sound of a machine whining sound and looked forward. She became shocked with fear as she saw the bigger robot's left hand turned into a blaster cannon and pointed directly at her face.
"Um, Heidi." Theresa gulped, "Whatever you're going to do…do it fast."
Back in the observation room, Heidi almost screamed from the sight of Theresa's close destruction. Quickly, she began pressing the buttons on the control but with no success. She was just about to give up when she noticed a red button that said 'Button to stop robots'.
"Huh, that's strange." Heidi said and moved to the button. She pressed the button and hoped it actually worked.
Back inside the battle room, Theresa already had her eyes closed and waited for the blast to kill her. But she didn't have to as she heard the sound of something deactivating. She first opened her left eye open to peek at it before opening both eyes wide.
The bigger robot and Lucius Thunderpunch were no longer active. Due to this, the bigger robot let go of Theresa before falling to the ground with Lucius following after.
Theresa sighed in relief and looked at the observation room that Heidi was in. She could already see Heidi from it and smiled at her, "Thanks for the help."
"No problem." Heidi replied with a smile, "Now let's go free the town."
Theresa nodded with a determined look.
***************************************************(LINE BREAK)***********************************
After a while of running and finding their way, Heidi and Theresa finally arrived at the same room the transmitter was in. Luckily, there wasn't any trap for them and they stood before it successfully.
"So how are we going to do this?" Theresa asked, looking up at the transmitter.
Heidi thought about it and snapped her finger, "That's it! You can try the Ninja Tengu fireball."
"Wait, how do you know this?" Theresa looked at her with a confuse and suspicious look.
Heidi noticed it and played cool to avoid any suspicion. She had a calm face as she already had the answer, "I'm the gossip queen in school; remember? So I should be able to know this. Besides, the Ninja shouts out his attacks all the time I'm surprise you didn't know."
"Oh right." Theresa looked away from her with guilt look in her eyes, "Sorry about being suspicious."
"No need to apologize." Heidi said, patting her on the back, "So you ready?"
Theresa grew a sheepish look on her face, "Yeah…but how do I do that?"
"I don't know. Maybe you should look deep in yourself or something."
Theresa decided to do that and closed her eyes to concentrate. As she did, she remembered what the Kunoichi told her when she got the mask, 'let the energy run through you and don't be afraid to use it.' The Kunoichi's voice echoed in her mind.
"Okay…" Theresa's eyes snapped open, filled with determination, "I'm ready."
Suddenly the Ninja suit changed into fiery red and the stripes became black. Theresa's eyes became red as the suit and she could feel incredible power going through her.
Heidi looked back at her and knew Theresa was ready. She knew that instant that Theresa was ready to end the trouble going on.
"Now do it!" Heidi exclaimed.
Theresa nodded to her before looking up at the transmitter. She brought her hands close to her chest but kept some space. Within that space, a fire ball formed and she was ready to shoot it.
"Ninja Tengu Fireball!" She shouted.
Immediately, Theresa shot the fireball directly at the transmitter. It flew in a rush and soon hit the transmitter, exploding it to pieces.
Heidi let out an excited cry and so did Theresa. They were both about to say something to each other with wide excited grin but stopped when they noticed the room flashing red. Knowing victory will have to wait for later, they both ran out.
*********************************************************(LINE BREAK)******************************************
The Kunoichi and Jack fought against each other with strength and speed. The past minutes had been a blur to both of them as they fought to overcome the other. Jack did better than Randy could, avoiding her attacks and launching different Ninja balls at her. The Kunoichi was fortunate and skilled to avoid them before launching her attacks at him.
However, the Kunoichi rushed at him with a battle cry. She threw a fast punch but Jack blocked it with his wrist. But he didn't expect her next move to be a quick kick to the side. Jack soon found himself crashing to the ground and now trying to get up.
The Kunoichi didn't give Jack a chance as she kicked his at the chest when he was on his arms and knees. Jack let out a grunt as he was sent flying straight to the wall. He felt the impact hit his back and fell to the ground. But despite the whole beating, he still had a grin under his mask and a delighted look in his eyes.
"Nice one, ma, maybe you should show me some moves in one way…or the other." Jack chuckled and winked a bit.
The Kunoichi flustered under her mask before she shot a glare of hatred at him, "The only thing you're going to see is me kicking your butt."
"I don't think so." Jack snickered. He quickly got to his feet and sprinted straight at the Kunoichi.
Seeing him coming, the Kunoichi got into a defense stance. Jack was getting close and when he got close he threw a black ball. Since he didn't shout his attack, the Kunoichi only action was to punch it. But when she hit it, it exploded and from it came a long rope that tied her from shoulders to legs. The Kunoichi was cut off guard and fell to the ground.
Jack laughed evilly at the sight and proceeds forward. He saw the angry look on the Kunoichi's eyes but didn't care the least. To make it more hilarious for him, he put a foot on her and gloated, "I took down the Nomicon, now who's the big guy."
The Kunoichi shot a direct glare at him and snapped the rope with a cry. Jack had seen this coming and jumped back to avoid falling to the ground. He saw the Kunoichi take out her sword, obviously ready for another battle.
However, the sounds of an alarm going off cut off any fight that could happen. Jack smiled at this, "Well it has been fun but I got to go."
Before the Kunoichi could do anything, he threw a hoarking ball at the large window, breaking it into pieces. He then ran to hit and turned back to the Kunoichi, "Tell the Ninja I'll be seeing him real soon." With that said he jumped out of the building.
The Kunoichi was dumbstruck by what happened, but shook her head to get it out. She suddenly heard footsteps and looked forward, only to find Theresa and Heidi running towards her.
"Kunoichi, we have to go now." Theresa said, a bit in a rush.
"But the exits are obviously sealed. What should we do?" Heidi added with panic.
The Kunoichi put up a thoughtful look before snapping her finger as an idea came to mind. It wasn't her greatest idea but it will have to do.
After some preparation, the three girls were launched out of the building through the window Jack had made. They then began sliding down Mcfist industries on a large square metal piece they tore from a wall.
While the Kunoichi stood in front, Heidi and Theresa screamed as they hanged on to each other. The Kunoichi easily rolled her eyes, thinking maybe it would have been best if they fought their way out.
******************************************************(LINE BREAK)*******************************************
Hours later, the normal activity in Norrisville was back to normal. People were on the streets, cars were moving and teens were hanging out. Among this teens were Howard and Randy as they sat at a table, outside one of Mcfist's cafes.
While Howard was eating some food he ordered, Randy was in deep thought. He had a slight headache in his head but he couldn't get another feeling that has been in him. Finally he asked Howard, "Bro, do you remember anything after we woke up?"
Howard looked away from his food and shook his head, "Not a clue, Cunningham. All I know is that I was excited about the Mcchannel but only woke up to it turned off. I asked Kang about it and she doesn't remember a thing either."
Hearing this, Randy became quiet. He thought about it before saying another thing, "Do you think Mcfist had something to do with it? I have this feeling when we woke up and I found my mask in my room, not in my pocket."
"So what?" Howard shrugged, "You thought you did, there's nothing there."
"Howard, I'm sure I took it with me. Besides…" He then had a weird smile on his face and continued, "it smells like rainbows now."
"Say what now?" Howard looked at Randy deeply, "Dude, you don't think Theresa Flower wore it and did whatever it was that needed to be done."
Randy shook his head, coming back to reality. He heard Howard loud and clear and had a frozen look on his face. Howard had the same look on his face but it didn't last as both boys laughed at the same time.
"Yeah, right." Randy was the first to stop, though he laughed a bit, "Good one, Howard."
Howard stopped laughing as he had a smile on his face, "I know right? I don't know where I come up with this stuff."
"Come up with what?" Theresa said, walking close to Howard and Randy. She was back to her normal self, no longer wearing the Ninja suit. After escaping Mcfist industries, Theresa gave back the mask to the Kunoichi. Then when she was about to leave, the Kunoichi thought about wiping her memory but left her alone and didn't mention it.
Randy was a bit startled like Howard, but calm himself, "Hey, Theresa. How was the baton twirling practice?"
"It was okay." Theresa giggled before moving closer to him, "So can I stay with you and Howard?"
Before Randy could say yes, he turned to Howard with a pleading face. The reason was because Howard didn't like it when someone suddenly invades him and Randy's talks. So when Howard saw his pleading look, he rolled his eyes and scoffed in a whisper, "Fine."
Randy almost jumped off his seat in excited but stopped himself from doing that. Instead he turned to Theresa with a grin on his face, "Sure, you can join us."
Theresa nodded with a smile before finding a chair and joining the two.
But not too far from their table, Heidi and Kim sat. They weren't talking to each other since one of them, Heidi, was watching Randy and Theresa. Kim was back to her normal self, wearing her normal clothes and her normal hair style. She was reading a book and had her glasses on when she then dropped it and faced Heidi.
"So how long are you going to do this?" Kim finally asked.
Heidi was startled by her question and quickly turned to her, "Wait, so what are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about your love for Randy."
Heidi wanted to deny it but couldn't find the words to say it. So instead she slumps her head on the table with her hands underneath, "But how did you know? I didn't tell you."
"You didn't have to, Heidi. You're forgetting I'm more than the average human. Even in my human state I can sense emotions from someone to another person, with exact detail of course."
"Then you know who Randy likes?" Heidi asked her with a hopeful look. But instead of answering, Kim simply smiled a bit and nodded. Heidi perked her head up in happiness and smiled to her friend, "So who does he likes, me or Theresa?"
Kim was about to answer, but then a frown formed. She moved her eyes from Heidi and sighed, "Randy isn't sure himself, well not anymore. He may act that he's not confused, but he is. Besides, it won't matter soon when the Sorcerer breaks free."
"But he's sealed and imprisoned. I was there when he almost broke free."
Kim let out a small puff of air and looked back at Heidi, "Changes can happen, Heidi. Not everything will last forever and I fear the Sorcerer will be free soon."
Heidi was shocked at what she was saying. She didn't want to show it openly, but she was scared, "So if he does break free, Randy will win, right? You told me you met some kids from the future and that one of them was Randy and other was yours."
"It doesn't mean anything." Kim said, this time her voice boldly, "Even if they're from the future, things can change. If Randy goofs off then everything we knew is over, dead and gone."
Heidi looked away from Kim with a frown and looked back at Randy, "But I believe he won't. I hope."
************************************************************(LINE BREAK)****************************************************
Back at Mcfist industries, Viceroy and Mcfist walked in. Both were exhausted from the day's event. They had been so close to freeing the Sorcerer and destroying the Ninja, but they were knocked out before both could be done. Now they are awake.
"Well that could have been worse." Viceroy said out of the sudden.
Mcfist sat on his seat, behind his desk, and yelled, "Worse?! It was a total disaster and it's all because of the Ninja! If I knew the identity of him and that his accomplices I'll crush them with my bear hands!"
"And you will." The Sorcerer's face appeared in the tank. He had neutral look, both angry and in satisfaction.
"So you're not mad about today?" Mcfist said with a hopeful smile.
"Of course I am mad!" The Sorcerer snarled angrily. His snarl was so powerful that it sent a wind force at them, though it only brush on them it did blow away the windows. The Sorcerer didn't seem mindful of it as he still had that scowl look on his face. But that all change when it formed to a grin, "I think it's time we capture the Kunoichi right where she lives. It's time the truth be known. Bring me…Kimiko Yamamoto."
***************************************************************(LINE BREAK)************************************************
Wow! That can't be good. Well I have nothing else to say and no reference. The next chapter is a special chapter, so because of it I'm going to write it despite the huge cliffhanger at the end. The next chapter contains the secrets behind the Nomicon.
Anyway, when I wrote part one and two, I found it ironic. I'm a dude and I'm writing two chapters mostly about the girl characters in the show. It wasn't easy but I'm glad I did it successfully. I'm proud of the previous chapter and this one and I hope you all loved it. The previous chapter and this one is to the fans of HeidiXRandy and TheresaXRandy and also to the those that love girl power.
Until next time, review and I'll see you next time. Like always, stay awesome.
