Well I'll just get to the chapter so you can read it.
Enjoy.
Chapter 26: The Evil rises.
Howard stayed in the same position when he came. He was still on his knees, but now his face was down on the prison. He heard footsteps coming from behind but made no move to look back.
"Howard, what happened?"
That's when he snapped. Howard heard Kim's voice and rushed at her in a blur. Kim didn't see it coming and was tackled to the ground by Howard. The ginger haired didn't care as he was angry and didn't care about his action.
"This is your entire fault, you stupid book! If you just helped him then this wouldn't happen!"
Heidi became wide eyed at her brother's act, but got over it to pull him from Kim. The boy was reluctant and was heavy to remove at first, but Heidi was able to pull him off. However, despite that, Howard tried to attack her again, but Heidi reacted quick and held him back.
"I'll rip you to shreds, stupid book!" Howard yelled angrily as he tried breaking free from Heidi.
Kim got up from her feet, after coming out of her shock. It was a surprise that Howard decided to attack her but she knew she deserved it. Howard was right about what he said and it hurt. She didn't want to admit it at first but she realized he was right. It just that her role as the Kunoichi had expired for centuries and she was suppose to give the mask away. But because of the prophecy she held it back.
"He's right." Kim whispered in a sad tone.
Theresa ran in, joining them. She heard what Kim said and walked to her, "Who's right?"
"Howard."
Theresa became wide eyed, but shook her head to get rid of it, "Sorry, what did you say? It almost sounded like you said Howard is right."
"He is." Kim looked at Theresa with a bit of boldness, "If I had fought the Sorcerer with Randy he won't be in that prison. It's just that my time as the Kunoichi was over a long time, so I'm limited to just helping him when he truly needs help or his too busy."
"So where is he?" Theresa asked, afraid to ask.
Kim didn't bother to answer but pointed at the place. Theresa walked to it and frowned, allowing the tears to come out. Kim felt sad for her and walked to her, despite Howard's attempt to grab her.
"Don't worry." Kim tried to assure Theresa as she placed her shoulder on her, "We can still get him back."
Theresa sniffed and wiped her tears before looking back at Kim, "How? He doesn't have that mask in there so how?"
Kim sighed and faced Theresa to Heidi and Howard, "I think its best you should know. Howard, you can stop trying to kill me and just listen if you want Randy back."
Howard paused from his attempt and nodded. He stopped and crossed his hands over his chest with a look that showed he was listening. Heidi sighed in relief and let go of Howard.
Kim explained, "Go and look for S. Ward Smith. He has something that the First Ninja prepared in case of something like this might happen."
"But where are you going?" Howard scoffed.
Kim walked forward and passed him. She had a bold look on her face and only titled her head to the others, "I'm going to keep the Sorcerer occupied and try to weaken him. Hurry fast and do what I said. Give the sword smith this." Kim threw a paper at Heidi and she caught it, "It's to ensure he can give you the package. Good luck."
With nothing left to say, Kim ran out of the school and wore the Kunoichi mask. She ran with full speed and headed to Norrisville High to face the Sorcerer.
The others remained surprise by Kim's act of bravery, but got over it. Heidi clutched the note and soon the others moved. However, the only person to know the person was Howard, so he led them there. Of course the girls asked questions about how he knew the sword smith and Howard explained. Heidi found it stupid that Howard and Randy broke the previous sword when they tried cutting a bulldozer. 'Who does that anyway' Theresa thought, agreeing with Heidi.
Eventually, they got to the workshop class S. Ward Smith was in. The walls were broke down that they were able to see the class from outside and the door barely hung well. The teens went in and Howard knocked at a secret entrance. Soon enough it slide open to reveal the blind Sword smith himself.
"Who's there?"
Howard glanced at the girls and then the Sword smith, "It's me, the guy that's always with the Ninja."
Ward Smith raised an unsure eyebrow, but sniffed the air, "Yeah, I recognize you. You have just the same smoke bomb smell as him, though some came personally from you, am I right?" Howard opened his mouth to answer, but he was cut off, "Save it, boy, I got better things to do. So where's the Ninja? He didn't break the sword I gave him, right?"
"No, he didn't" Howard shook his head and sighed, "But his imprisoned by the Sorcerer and the mask is destroyed. Kim said we should meet you so you can give us something that might help."
Ward Smith thought about it before bringing his hand forward, "If so then where's the information for it?"
Heidi took the paper and gave it to Howard. The teen gave it to Howard and from him he gave it to Ward Smith. The blind man 'looked' at it and nodded, "Yup, you're saying the truth."
"Wait." Theresa interjected, "If you're blind then how can you look at it."
Ward Smith crumbled the paper and threw it away with a grim face, "I can't. If I mentioned something to show evidence someone would make it up, except the Nomicon. That paper had strange mystical property that I could sense, knowing only she could give it." He turned from them and into his lair, "No come with me if you want to get it."
The teens glance at each other and followed him inside. Heidi and Theresa gasped as they found the secret room he did his work. Ward Smith only brushed them off before kneeing down and taking out a key. He inserts the key into a keyhole on the ground and opened it. Once it did, he brought out a long case with a strap attached and gave it to them.
"Take this." He gave it to Heidi.
"What about me?" Howard said, clearly offended.
"I have a hunch I can trust her with it." Ward Smith replied, "Now get this to the Ninja so he can save the day and I can still get a paycheck."
"Wait, Kim is paying you?" Howard asked.
Ward Smith scolded, "More like punishing me! Making Ninja sword is great, but not when she's the cause of my blindness. All I did was take a peek of her pages when she was a book and next thing I know I can't see."
"Oh, I'm so sorry for that." Heidi said thoughtfully.
"Whatever."
A sudden crash interrupt, scaring the teens. Ward Smith easily knew what it was like the others and said, "Uh oh."
They ran out and looked to the cause, finding it to be a stank Brent heading towards them. The teens and Ward Smith took a step back as he came closer with each step. But he didn't get close, as a whip tied around his wrist.
"Yeah, I don't think so." said a man's voice.
Everyone looked at the person responsible and found it to be the Messenger. The man held the whip holding the stanked teen and pulled it hard, forcing him off his feet. He retracted the whip just in time as the stanked teen got back to his feet. The monster attempted to step on him but he moved to the other side and swung the whip at him.
Stank Brent cried out before growling at him. However, he was grunted as the Messenger swung the whip again and again. This forced the stank teen to move backwards and hit the wall. Unfortunately for the stanked teen, the wall cracked and he fell through.
Done with his mission, the Messenger put his whip in a satchel he wore and walked to the others, "Are you guys alright?"
The teens nodded, bewildered by what the Messenger just did.
"Who are you?" Heidi asked.
The Messenger chuckled, "I'm the Messenger. I believe we met some weeks ago with the Ninja when Kim was under that love ray."
Howard opened his mouth to talk, clearly offended Heidi and Randy met the man without him. However, Ward Smith interjected, "It's about time you came here. Where were you all this while?"
The Messenger shrugged, "I've been busy."
"Hey, can anyone tell us why we're taking this?" Heidi asked, clearly getting angry about everything.
The Messenger nodded, "Fine then. Within that case is the most powerful weapon the Ninja has ever possessed. It was made after the second defeat of the Sorcerer by the First Ninja. He and the Nomicon knew the Ninja mask wasn't always invincible, so they made a weapon that only the purest of heart could possess. So it became that the best sword smith in Japan created it and the Nomicon gave it most of her mystical energy. The last touch was a Tengu feather the First Ninja had kept back. With this things together, they formed the greatest weapon in the Ninja has."
"And now that you know you can leave." Ward Smith said, clearly annoyed by their presence.
The teens shot a small glare at him, but shifted it when they knew it would be pointless to a man that can't see. The Messenger wished them good luck before they left to save Randy.
*********************************************************(LINE BREAK)*******************************
The Sorcerer caused much chaos than he ever did. More people were turned to monster and buildings were in ruins. The helicopter that broadcast the fight between him and the Sorcerer was chased away by the villain. The evil man himself laughed into the air as he stood on top of a high storey building with the sky being green.
"Ah, just what I dreamed of." The Sorcerer smiled to himself, "There's no Ninja to stop me and I can finally rule the world." He enjoyed the moment well but he heard the cry of a Ninja attack and became wide eyed, "Oh no." A Ninja air fist came from behind and hit him before he could react. The Sorcerer screamed as he was knocked off the building before hitting the ground. He groaned, "I…should have seen that coming."
The Sorcerer got back to his feet, just in time to turn to his new opponent. Not surprisingly it was the Kunoichi herself, standing in a battle stance. The Sorcerer only formed a small smile at this, "So you've finally come out to fight me. Tell me, do you think you can beat me?"
The Kunoichi didn't reply as she charged at the Sorcerer. The villain wasn't surprise and jumped backwards to avoid her attack. He charged up his stank balls and launched multiple of them at her. However, the Kunoichi moved right and left to avoid them. When it was too much, she jumped into the air and headed straight down for the Sorcerer.
The villain noticed and formed a bigger stank ball to hit her. The Kunoichi got hit and was sent flying to the ground. However, she was able to land on her feet to avoid hitting the ground and charge at him. She brought out her sword while doing so and began slashing at upcoming blast attack. The Sorcerer got worried and stopped his attack of green stank. Instead, he formed red stank fists at her. But the Kunoichi jumped into the air and threw a yellow ball.
"Kunoichi bee ball!" The Kunoichi shouted.
The ball exploded when it hit the Sorcerer's, releasing angry bees at him. The Sorcerer screamed as the bees began to swarm around him and stung him. It was a funny moment as he moved around in a circle, screaming and attempting to move the bees away from him. But the Kunoichi didn't see it funny as she threw a blue ball.
"Kunoichi blue ball!" She shouted.
The ball hit the Sorcerer, freezing him and the bees in a block of ice. The Kunoichi stood in a stance and slowly moved her hands apart and then back together. A green aura formed around her and she snapped her eyes open, "Kunoichi thunder punch!"
The Kunoichi ran, just after she shouted her attack. She hit the ice block the Sorcerer was in, sending him through the air and skidding the ground when he came close contact to the ground. He finally came to a halt and tried to get up but he heard the Kunoichi shout, "Kunoichi air lift!"
Suddenly, the Sorcerer was lifted off the ground. He tried moving to break free but he couldn't. It only got worse when the Kunoichi shouted, "Kunoichi lightening attack!"
The Sorcerer felt electricity race from his feet and then all over his body. He let out a loud scream as he felt the pain. It was revealed that the Kunoichi was in her own powerful form, similar to the Ninja's Ninja rage. The only difference us that her suit changes to glowing white with the stripes remaining red. Her eyes became yellow and her pony tail splits into two.
When the Kunoichi was done, she released her hold on the Sorcerer and also her lightening attack. With nothing holding him, the Sorcerer fell to the ground with a thud.
"Ow."
However, it didn't end from there. As the Sorcerer tried to recover he looked up and found Kim standing over him with her sword out to strike him.
"After 800 years, this will finally end. I'm not so sure about the Ninja's destiny to defeat you, but this ends now." Kim spoke up with a glare and raised her sword up.
"Not quiet." The Sorcerer whispered with a cruel grin forming on his face.
Without a chance to react, the Sorcerer shot his hand up at the Kunoichi. From it came green stank which entered through the mask and then her nostrils. The Kunoichi felt odd and weird from the entry before backing away as she gasped for air. While she did, the Sorcerer got back to his feet with the grin on his face as he witness the Kunoichi's transformation.
The Kunoichi's body grew to the height of Heidi with some changes. The suit became dark green and white stripes as a dark colored armor covered most of the Kunoichi suit. Her hair grow longer that it was braided with green lines on it. Finally, the Kunoichi's eyes snap open, revealing dark red eyes.
With the transformation complete, the Kunoichi turned to the Sorcerer in a frozen stand. The Sorcerer's grin grew as he put his hand down and said, "Now, bow down before me."
The Kunoichi didn't show a slight display of hesitation and did as she was ordered, "Yes, master."
*******************************************************************(LINE BREAK)**************************************
Back at Norrisville High, the three teens kept running to the former proud lobby of the school. The teens consisted of Heidi, Theresa and Howard. Since Heidi carried the long case, she was in the lead with Theresa behind and Howard at the last.
Finally, the teens got the prison, but Heidi stopped as a thought occurred. Howard stopped behind her, but Theresa ran on top of the prison and turned to others, "What are you waiting for? We have to save, Randy."
"Fowler is right so why are we stopping?" Howard asked.
Without warning, Heidi pushed her hand into Howard's hair. The teenage boy was surprise, but then yelped as Heidi pulled out something. Howard rubbed the top of his head and shot an angry glare at Heidi, "What the juice was that for?!"
Heidi scoffed and rolled her eyes before presenting the thing. When Howard saw it he smiled sheepishly, "Huh, I guess I forgot about that."
"What's that?" Theresa asked, walking to them.
Heidi displayed the item as the Sorcerer's key, "This is the key to the prison Randy is in. Honestly, it isn't surprising Howard forgot where he put it."
"Hey!" Howard yelled, clearly offended.
"So how did you know it was with Howard?" Theresa asked.
"A while ago, Kim told me how Randy acquired the Sorcerer's key. I figured he gave it to Howard since no one would suspect him to hold it. As for finding it in his hair was just dumb luck."
Having explained, Heidi walked to the prison. Howard and Theresa followed and stood behind her as she put the key into the hole and opened it. When she did that, the ground below them shook and not long it went down like an elevator. It turned out it was the entire entrance going into the prison with the teens on it.
******************************************************************(LINE BREAK)*****************************************
Randy sat on a stool he found. He guessed it belonged to the Sorcerer, which added insult to injury. All he did was sit there with his head in his hands as he kept thinking about how much he was beaten.
"I can't believe I failed." Randy muttered, "I was such a shoob that I got thrown here. I wonder how Howard is doing?"
"Hey, Cunningham." Howard's voice echoed.
Randy sighed deeply, "Great now I'm hearing voices."
"Cunningham!"
"Okay, now it's getting creepy."
"Look up, you shoob!" The same voice shouted again.
Randy snapped out of his depression and looked up. To his surprise, he found Heidi, Theresa and Howard levitating down on the seal of the prison. He rubbed his eyes to check that he wasn't hallucinating.
"Am I seeing things now?"
The seal finally touched down on the ground, allowing the three teens on it to come down. Howard rushed out from the girls and got close to Randy, "Of course you aren't, Cunningham."
"Howard!" Randy smiled and embraced him in a hug, "Men I missed you so much. How many days have I been in here?"
"Days?" Howard looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "It's only been an hour."
"Oh." Randy said and let go of him. He looked from Howard and to the girls coming towards him and smiled, "Heidi! Theresa! You're here!"
Theresa grew a smile and ran to him, embracing him in a hug, "Of course we're here. I –I mean we missed you."
Randy was startled a bit, but accepted her hug, "I missed you guys too."
Heidi stood from her position and remained quiet. The reason was because she felt depress from the scene. Why is that? It's because she was in love with Randy. She has come with terms with her feelings for him, but now she wasn't sure about herself. It sickened her that she felt jealous for Theresa, but decided to brush it off and speak up.
"Hey, Mandy." Heidi said with a fake smile.
Randy let go of Theresa and so did she. He looked at her for a moment before looking back at Heidi, "Hey, Heidi. What are you holding there?"
Heidi let out a soft sigh as she tried to keep herself from frowning, "Kim and the Messenger wanted us to give you this. They said it was important." After saying it, Heidi removed from her body and walked closer to Randy. Theresa gave way for Heidi and watched her open the case to Randy, revealing the weapon inside.
"I-it's a sword." Randy looked at it. True to his words, it was indeed a sword but he had a faint glow from it. It had the same structure as the first one, but it had fiery streaks running from the top of the blade to the tip. Randy admired it for a while before looking away with a smile, "There's no point. I shouldn't have it because I failed."
Heidi was shock by his words and so were the others. She put the case down to his feet because of its weight and stood back up to Randy, "You didn't fail."
"Yes, I did." Randy muttered. Heidi tried to place an assuring hand on his shoulder, but he brushed it off. He noticed what he did to her and apologized, "Look, I'm sorry, Heidi. It's just that…I don't know. I've failed."
There was a small silence within the group with no sound interjecting. None of them were sure about the next move, except Howard who decided to speak up. But before he did, the sword within the case began to make a humming sound and glow brightly.
Confused, Randy looked at the sword, "What the juice is…"
Randy would have continued but a strange force came over him and he fell to the ground. The girls gasped in shock and were about to run to his aid, but Howard stood in their way.
"What's with you, Howard? Let's help him." Heidi tried to push her way pass Howard, but he wouldn't allow it.
"You don't understand." Howard said and then pointed at Randy, "He has the same look when he goes into the Nomicon. He's alright."
Theresa seems hesitate and scared but asked, "Are you sure?"
"Positive." Howard nodded with confidence. But after that he whispered to addition to his reply, "I think."
Howard was actually right about Randy. He had the same face look when he went into the Nomicon, but the experience he will go through will be very different. None of them noticed or could even see Randy's spirit fly up into the air and into the sky. This was a different experience than going into the Nomicon because his consciousness would have gone in with some small detail of it remaining back.
**********************************************************(LINE BREAK)******************************************
Randy flew higher into the air until he oddly found himself hitting watery grounds. It was strange because he was flying up and next thing he fell and hit something. But that didn't stop him from standing up and looking around. He found he was in a strange looking forest. The trees around were transparent and had a faint glow.
Randy also saw strange animals, most of them were a cross between one animal to another. None of them bothered him and went their way, but he was still confuse about his location.
"Where the juice am I?" Randy whispered to himself.
Suddenly, he felt a strange magnetic feeling over him. He would have ignored it, but it was the only lead he had. So instead, he followed it and went deeper into the forest. At first he thought he was lost, but he was wrong as he found himself seeing the view of a large palace. He soon got to a clearing and saw the palace in full view.
Randy awed at the height and beauty. He never has seen such a building in real life. But the experience changed when he felt a ghostly hand on his shoulder, making him to shudder.
"You like it?" asked a voice from behind.
Randy yelped and forward before turning back to the person. He stood in a fighting stance in case the owner of the hand tried to attack him. But when he saw the person he dropped it. The person resembled an old man, wearing a Kimono that had the same design as the Ninja suit with the Norisu Nine symbol at the chest. He had a Chinese grey mustache and brown beard with grey hair on it. He also had brown hair with grey hair on it which did not pass his neck. Lastly he had brown eyes, eyes that Randy found recognizable.
"It's good to see you again, Ninja." The man spoke with a deep voice.
Randy blinked with a confused expression, "First Ninja?"
The man didn't answer but nodded with a pleasant smile. Randy was surprise at first, but then exclaimed, "This is so bruce!"
"Indeed it is." First Ninja chuckled.
"So where am I anyway?"
"You're in the land of the dead."
"What?!" Randy shouted, becoming wide eyed.
The First Ninja sighed, "Don't worry you're not dead."
Randy breathed a sigh of relief, "Oh that's good. I didn't want to be dead yet until –you know- old."
"I know." The First Ninja voice came somewhere else. Randy was confused and found the First Ninja no longer stood before him. Instead, he found the dead Ninja sitting on a large stone in a meditation style.
Randy smiled and walked to the man, "So can I ask how you still remember me? When Kim was the Nomicon, she showed me when you went for the ultimate lesson."
"Yes, I did." The First Ninja nodded, "But when death comes, a person is allowed to remember all that has been forgotten, even the little memory detail."
"Huh, I never thought about it that way." Randy muttered to himself, though he knew the First Ninja was listening. A thought then occurred to him and he looked back at him, "Why did you send me here? If I'm not dead then I shouldn't be here."
The First Ninja fell silent for a while. Randy began to wonder why and was about to ask again when he finally spoke up, "I heard what you said, Randy Cunningham. The sword shown to you has spiritual properties that allowed me to hear you."
"Oh." Randy frowned, "So you know how much I failed."
"Yes." The First Ninja nodded, but with a frown now on his face, "But if anyone is to blame it should be me. When I defeated the Sorcerer the first and second time I only used a solution that was temporary. You, Randy Cunningham, and every Ninja after me inherited my problem…and mistake. But I believe you can redeem me and save the world from the Sorcerer."
Randy opened to his mouth to reply, but a blinding light came from above. He looked up and shielded his eyes with a small glance at the person. To his surprise, the person resembled Heidi, but he knew it was the first one.
"You've accomplished many things before and you'll accomplish many more. But you can't give up." Past Heidi said, hovering down to Randy.
Randy nodded, with much confidence. It was written on his face as he turned back to the First Ninja, "I won't give up. I've gone through so much to be stop now." He began to float into the air and while he did, different past Ninjas before him appeared around him in a circle. Randy felt more confident that a white bright aura came over him. When he spoke it had the combination of past Ninjas, "I am Randy Cunningham; I am the Ninja!"
Suddenly, the past Ninjas began white energy and flew around Randy. After that it became so bright that Past Heidi used her hand to block her hand and smiled, "Good luck, Ninja. I have a final role of my own."
*****************************************************(LINE BREAK)**********************************************
Heidi, Howard and Theresa stood, waiting for Randy to wake up. The girls were getting worried for him, but Howard held them back. But even he was losing hope that his best friend was alright.
But suddenly Randy's body began to glow before it flew high into the air. From there, he hovered with his hands stretched out and the glow on him becoming brighter. It became so bright that the teens had to turn their heads back to avoid getting blind. While it went on, Heidi felt a strange energy over her body and lost any connection to her body.
The sword in the case brightened up like Randy's body and flew up. The next item was the Sorcerer's key, which flew off from Howard's grip. Both items became energy and flew into the blinding light. Howard and Theresa still had their heads back until he noticed the light dying down. When it was good enough to see, they looked up.
In Randy's place was the Norrisville Ninja but with some new details. The Ninja suit was white with the usual red stripes. The scarf blew into the air like wild fire. The Ninja's eyes were closed and he began to hover down to the ground. When his feet touched the ground, he changed back to his regular Ninja suit and a new sword in his hand.
The Ninja opened his eyes, letting out a bright glow before it revealed his blue eyes. He then stood straight and smirked under his mask,
"This is the most brucest thing to happen in the history of all things bruce!" The Ninja exclaimed, holding the sword up.
Theresa and Howard cheered with smiles on their faces. That moment was a great moment for them. But while all these happened, none of them noticed Heidi's sudden absence. It didn't matter at the moment cause the Ninja of Norrisville is back and is ready to defeat the Sorcerer.
**************************************************************(LINE BREAK)**********************************
That's right everyone, Randy is back in action! Before I go on, I'll like to thank Ironninja3 for allowing me to use his idea, 'the ultimate Ninja mode' in this story. It made a brief appearance when the Ninja suit changed.
Anyway, a reviewer by the name of BlackScyther wants to know why Past Heidi's Ninja suit was blue instead of red like the rest of the Norisu Nine. I thought its better I should explain. Originally, I wanted the Norisu Nine to have different colors to represent them. But then I realized that idea might reference Power Rangers, so I changed it to something else. Past Heidi is the only member of the Norisu Nine who wears a blue Ninja suit because it holds special mystical properties. It allows her to be able to great an incarnation in the future, which is Heidi Weinerman.
I hope this satisfies your question BlackScyther.
Well there's nothing else to say other than these. Please review, follow and favorite. The next chapter will be the final showdown between the Sorcerer and the Ninja. Look out for the next update. Until then, stay awesome.
