A/N: Wow. don't even know where to start guys. :) Literally four years later, and I've still been getting the occasional fav/follow/review! I haven't written anything in a very long time, but I was reminiscing with my friend Gaby and she brought this story up, so we looked it up, read through it and were both surprised at how little it sucked :) Other than the random spelling or grammer error there wasn't much I would change. However, I finally realized how terribly confusing parts of it have been, so I apologize for that. I don't plan to go back and fix earlier chapters, but I do hope to get back into writing. It's probably a bad time for me to do so; I'm moving across the country for school, so I still probably will have major delays, if I continue this story at all.
I figured at the VERY least I owed you all a cuter chapter to leave on, even if a shorter one. So please enjoy and let me know what you think!
Logan concentrated on centering his breathing, but Lola was beginning to hover. He let out a small growl before standing up woozily.
"I just need some air." he managed to breathe out before hurrying out the door.
Practically stumbling now, he plopped down on the fountain's edge. The cool air was soothing, and the sound of the fountain washed over him in the absence of other noise.
As the sun set, Chase walked back to his dorm, eyebrows furrowed and hands deep in his pockets. He should have know Logan wouldn't just let it go. Chase winced inwardly. He'd probably never let it go. Eventually Chase would confess his growing love for Logan and Logan would laugh and say something like 'I knew it! I'm so hot and perfect even a supposed straight guy like Chase falls in love with me!' and laugh some more as he spreads the word. At least, that's always how Chase had assumed he would react... But seeing this whole new side of him come to life in the last few days... Maybe he might just let him down easy and never speak of it again. Dakoda had mentioned that Logan might be gay... Chase grunted to himself. There was no way. He must have misheard, or Dakoda must have been messing with him. He didn't know her too well, maybe she just had a sick sense of humor, she is a smoker after all. He sighed, deciding to grab a soda from the vending machine before finishing the trek to his dorm. As he waited for his soda he saw someone practically collapse onto the fountain. He grabbed his soda, starting toward the silhouette. As he got closer he saw Logan shaking and muttering to himself.
"Logan?"Chase asked as softly as he could. Logan still jumped, eyes quickly darting away from him, and breath hitched. Chase sat next to him, placing his hand on Logan's back. "Are you ok?" Chase asked, relieved when Logan leaned into his touch. Logan laughed wearily.
"these last couple days? No, not in the least." Chase nodded, slowly moving his arm over Logan's shoulder. Logan leaned into him, noticing how his small and weak feeling had turned to a feeling of safety and comfort. Chase rubbed Logan's arm lightly, holding the boy close. Neither boy moved until the sun had long set.
