A/N: Ok, so the muse got my interest piqued in this story, but it has been a very long time since I've seen the show, so I must apologize for anything that might seem out of character. I really hope you guys enjoy, but either way I would love to hear your feedback! And now: On with the fic!
The walk back to the dorm was quiet. Logan was still shaking to the bone, dripping with sweat, and relying almost entirely on Chase to lead him home. Chase looked down at the smaller boy in concern. His skin was pale and his eyes were hazy. Chase felt his own heart beating twice as hard, as if trying to beat for Logan as well.
When they finally reached the dorm, Chase helped Logan to his bed. He didn't move, just sat there, continuing to stare through reality. Chase watched him for a moment before turning away to survey the room. A note lay on the desk, probably Michael explaining where he was. Chase wondered for a minute if he should turn on the light. Before he could debate it, however, Logan grabbed his arm weakly, tugging for him to sit at his side. Chase complied silently. The two sat there for a minute, Logan, still holding Chase's arm, and Chase, watching Logan. His skin was so pale, so drained. He never looked up, but Chase watched his long lashes flicker off his porcelain cheek just slightly. This moment seemed to to last an eternity before Logan finally looked up at the other boy. Chase felt his breath escape and his heart stop. Those weren't the eyes of the over confident playboy he had come to love; they were far too pained, too fragile, too raw. These eyes begged to know the answer to a question Chase couldn't be sure of. He reached up to brush a lock of sweat drenched hair off his forehead, finding his own hands shaking as much as Logan's. Still Logan looked at him with weak pleading eyes that cut through him, and all he could do was hold him.

"Lola? Lola, are you even listening?" Lola looked up at Zoey in surprise.
"yeah, I was just... Thinking." she frowned. Zoey squinted at her.
"I said I think the groups in a funk. It's been going on for months now, but now with the anti-Logan here..." Zoey trailed off, looking at Lola's raised brow with innocents.
"The Anti-Logan? You mean Dakoda?"
"Yes ok, she's gorgeous, modest, warm, inviting, she cares about her family and other people, she seems to know the value of money... Shes everything Logan's not. Hard to believe they're twins." Zoey shrugged. Lola furrowed her brow.
"I can't tell if you hate her or love her." Lola muttered, sitting on the edge of her bed. Zoey sighed dramatically, sitting beside her.
"I think she's really nice and all, but she's barely been here two days and already she has half the group acting really weird and even has Chase ditching school. I don't hate her, but with our group already unstable.." Zoey looked down at her hands, her face flushing lightly. After a minute, Lola sighed.
"Maybe the groups not unstable, maybe things are changing from the inside, and we just need to remember to be there for the rest of the group. You know, try to keep the group together, but not stop it from changing and growing when it needs to." Zoey stared at Lola in shock.
"So you think I'm over-reacting? That Dakoda coming here and everyone except Quinn and Michael acting like the world's going to end any day now is just 'the group changing and growing?' It's a nice thought, Lola... But I'm telling you.. If someone doesn't do something, this group is going to fall apart." and with that, Zoey threw her dorm key around her neck and stormed out, slamming the door behind her.
"Zoey? You ok?" Zoey jumped at the near collision with Dakoda outside her door.
"Yeah, fine." Zoey replied in an almost suspicious tone.
"It's just, I heard yelling, and then with the door slam..." Dakoda trailed off. "Look, I was just heading back to my room, I got soda and music if you need a place to calm down?" She invited softly. Zoey crossed her arms, an clenched her jaw for a moment, before agreeing. She walked in behind Dakoda, and sat on the edge of her bed with a sigh. Dakoda handed her a soda before opening her own. "You want to look through my music? Or look something up?"
"Oh, that's ok. I don't want to listen to anything usual." Zoey shrugged. She was slowly becoming less and less at ease about her and Lola's conversation moments ago.
"Deftones it is." Dakoda smiled, winking at the blond.
