Allie

Eventually, they all went home after an interesting day. Ashley and Haley walked on either side of Allie as she limped along in her crutches.

"Ashley! My feet hurt!" Haley complained.

"I don't wanna hear it. Plus I'm sure Allie doesn't either since she's the one in crutches!" Ashley said.

"And who put me in them? Huh, Ashley?" Allie asked, slightly glaring in her direction.

"You should've dodged or blocked when I hit you. It's not my fault you can't keep up with me," Ashley said.

"It's not my fault you're some freak whose better at martial arts than me, even though I've been practicing it longer," Allie said. Ashley sighed.

"Are we going to do this again? Look, it's not my fault you have zero talent for martial arts Al. Well, I shouldn't say zero. You at least have some talent. Not a lot, but some," Ashley said, smirking at Allie who just glared right back at her.

"Well then!" Allie remarked, pretending to pout. That just made Ashley and Haley laugh and Allie eventually joined in.

"So, Ashley. How was practice?" Haley asked, changing the subject.

"Huh? Oh, it was okay. Just a typical dress rehearsal. Nothing out of the ordinary," Ashley said, shrugging her shoulders. They stopped for a second so Allie and Ashley could drink out of their water bottles that they had gotten at a store on the way home.

"Oh, okay. So, what do you think about that Takeda guy?" Haley asked, slightly nudging Allie who got the hint.

Careful Haley, Ashley's not stupid. Choose your words very carefully or she'll realize he likes her Allie thought and tried to convey this thought through eye contact. Haley nodded to show that she got the message.

Ashley blinked twice as she drank from her bottled water.

"Huh? What do you mean? Like as a person?" she asked. Allie mentally facepalmed.

"No, as a guy," Haley said. Ashley just kept staring and Haley sighed. "We say you two talking on your own a few times. What did you guys talk about?"

"Oh, um , well we just talked about my upcoming concert, what he and I like to do for fun, stuff like that," Ashley said, taking another drink.

"Don't you think he's cute, Ash?" Allie asked. Allie seemed to have asked at the wrong time. The water was just going into Ash's mouth when she heard the question and she wound up choking on the water for a minute or two.

"What?" she asked in-between coughs. Allie tried as hard as she could to keep the laugh from her voice. She wasn't succeeding very well though.

"I said do you think he's cute?" Allie asked again.

"Um, I guess. Yeah. He's pretty cute and his muscles are well defined for a beginning boxer," Ashley said.

"Oh? So you were looking at his muscles?" Haley asked, smirking. A blush creeped onto Ashley's face.

"What? No! I mean, at one point he didn't have his shirt on and it was kind of hard to ignore them!" Ashley said, trying to justify her looking. Allie and Haley looked at each other.

"Uh huh. Sure, you had no choice but to look at his muscles," Haley said sarcastically, grinning. Ashley blushed even more.

"Apachai and Sakaki have more muscles and they are constantly exposed yet I don't think I saw you looking at their muscles once, Ash," Allie pointed out.

"That's a good point Allie! So, what do you have so say for yourself , Ashley?" Haley said, smirking at Ashley who was trying to keep her insane blush down.

"I, well I. Oh shut up!" she yelled. Allie and Haley laughed. They continued to walk home and Allie and Haley never stopped harassing Ashley about Takeda.

The next day Haley walked to the dojo by herself about two hours early, just enough time to get there at her own pace. Well, that was what Haley told them she would do.

"Here," Ashley said, shoving a piece of paper in Haley's face.

"It's a map telling you how to get to the dojo and what to do on your way there. Such as jogging, running, and speed walking," Allie said.

"What? Why can't there be lightly walking? And why do I have to run and jog more than walk?" Haley asked.

"That's my version of the map," Allie said.

"Mine had no walking on it whatsoever. It had a few rest points but they were far from each other," Ashley said. Haley looked at Ashley shocked.

"Are you trying to kill me?" she asked. Ashley shook her head.

"Nah, just trying to build up your stamina," Ashley said.

"My stamina is fine!" Haley complained. Allie and Ashley laughed.

"Oh! Don't forget this note! Tell Kenichi to give the inside tickets to Takeda and Kenichi's masters when he gets the chance. I was able to get some tickets yesterday before I left rehearsal. I remember Takeda asking about them," Ashley said. Allie and Haley looked at each and smirked. When they looked back at Ashley she was slightly blushing .

"It-it's not what you think! He asked and I remembered! That's all!" she stuttered. Haley and Allie laughed.

"Sure you did, Ash. Sure you did. Alright Haley, we'll see you after training! Work hard and get strong!" Allie said.

"Yeah, get out of here and quit falling on your face when you train! We'll come by later after I get out of school," Ashley said. Haley nodded and they saw her out.

"So Ash, how's Takeda?" Allie asked, smirking. An angry mark appeared on Ash's forehead.

"So Al, how's Akisame?" Ash asked. Allie blinked.

"Huh? Why ask about him?" she asked. Ashley smirked, which made her look creepy since she still had the angry mark.

"I've seen you two talking. What do you talk about?" Ashley asked.

"Well, um," Allie started. Then she remembered the kiss that Akisame woke her up with and she blushed intensely. "Nothing really. Just stuff like how much Haley sucks at martial arts, how you seem to get along with Kenichi and Takeda, stuff he likes to do, things like that." Allie briefly remembered how she told him about Ashley and Haley's pasts and the creepy Buddha statues and how the Elder scared her out of her wits that one time, but Ashley didn't need to know that.

"Really? So, what does he like to do?" Ash asked.

"Build creepy looking statues and scaring people out of their skins," Allie said. Ashley stared at her, didn't comment, and walked away. They went their separate ways, Ashley to school and Allie bed, strictly on doctor's orders.

I can't believe Akisame actually called here and told the masters to make sure I was in bed for the next few days Allie thought. The masters even forbade her from going into the dojo until her bone was healed. Allie sighed and went under the covers. For some strange reason, that day she dreamt of a room full of Buddha sculptures and a certain jujitsu master with a certain small mustache carving his newest masterpiece.

Unknown to Allie, she was smiling in her sleep as she silently watched him in her dream.
