Haley

After about an hour of following the instructions on Allie's map, I arrived at the dojo. Huffing, I rested my hand on the heavy door for a second.

"Darn. I actually followed those instructions and got here an hour ahead of time. Now what am I supposed to do?" I muttered. Suddenly I heard something crash on the other side of the doors.

"Apa! Oh no! Apachai did it again! Apachai is so stupid! Stupid stupid!" Apachai yelled.

"Oh no! Kenichi!" Miu yelled. I heard Sakaki say something but I couldn't make it out. Then I began to hear someone walking towards me. I looked to my right to see two tough looking guys smirking at me.

"What do we have here?" one of them said.

"A rat who ran away huh?" the other said. I tilted my head and looked around. Then, when I noticed they were talking to me, I straightened my back to show no fear.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. The voices on the other side of the doors stopped. The two guys chuckled.

"Tell us, is your name Haley by any chance?" the first one asked. I raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," I answered hesitantly. They looked at each other with big grins and chuckled.

"My my, we've been searching for you for years, little rat," the second said. He disappeared.

"Wha-" I started to say.

"You may be able to run, but you can't hide forever hun," the first said.

"Who are you calling Hun?" I yelled. For some reason, these guys made me feel scared. Visions of my nightmares came to mind. Underwater cages surrounded by sharks, a white room with no way out, being tied up to things that made me feel electricity flow through my body. My stance started to get weaker and weaker.

Wait, aren't there masters on the other side of this wall? If I scream, they might come help. That or just the scream will make these two go away. But wait, where did that other one go? I thought. I frantically looked around me to try to find him.

"Boo," he whispered in my ear. I screamed, but no sound came out. My body wouldn't move. He grabbed my hands and put them behind my back, using one of his hands to cover my mouth. "You're coming back with us sweetheart."

No.

The other guy chuckled walking closer.

No.

"Get her in the car. The boss wants to speak with her before she continues her tests where we left off. That was pretty sneaky to pretend being dead on us. But that won't happen again now will it?" the first guy said, putting his finger under my chin and raising it to up to look him in the eye. I gulped. My head was hurting so much. It felt like there was a huge black wall in my mind, and something was pounding on it.

Whoever these people are, I don't want to go with them. I want to stay here! Please! Someone help me! I screamed in my mind. A small car pulled up and one of the black tinted windows rolled down. The second man turned me around to face the guy in the car. He was wearing shades and for some reason just looking at him struck fear into my heart.

"You finally found her huh?" he said. He got out the car and eyed me up and down. Once again that black wall pounded in my head. "Let her talk, but keep her hands where they are." The man said. The second guy uncovered my mouth but kept a tight grip on my hands.

"Who-who are you?" I muttered. The guy chuckled.

"I see, so you've developed a case of amnesia huh? Well, a few beatings out to get you to remember," he said. He gave a nod to the guy behind me and he let go of my hands. He also disappeared again. I was careless in that moment. I looked away from the third guy to see where the second one went, when I looked back I got a face full of fist. It sent me flying to wall that bordered Ryozanpaku.

"Ouch," I muttered, rubbing my cheek. My body still felt a little sore from the training yesterday. This was not good. The third guy laughed.

"What? Does it hurt? Here, let me show you the mercilessness that will soon become your life once again!" he yelled. He ran towards me and I just sat there. Paralyzed with fear. Suddenly a face appeared in my mind and I whispered a plea without thinking.

"Sakaki. Please help me!" Suddenly the wall behind me exploded. I closed my eyes and shielded my head. When I opened them again, I saw a huge muscly figure, his back to me. I looked even farther up to see that the third guy was being held by the neck.

"Sa-Sakaki?" I whispered. He looked over his shoulder at me and smiled. I felt my heart skip a beat and heat started to rise up to my cheeks.

"Hey Haley, are these people bothering you?" he asked. I slowly nodded.

"Um, yeah," I muttered, trailing off. Sakaki smirked and looked back at the guy.

"Hear that? You three were bothering the lady. Now I'm gonna have to teach you some manners!" he said. The third guy started to whimper.

"Please don't hurt me!" the third guy said. Sakaki's eyes narrowed.

"Oh? And what were you planning on doing with my Haley here?" he asked. I blinked twice.

"Your Haley?" I whispered. He didn't seem to hear me though.

"We were gonna take her back to the factory! She has some unfinished business there!" the second guy yelled.

"Shut up you idiot!" the first guy yelled, stomping on the second guy's foot.

"Is that so? Well then, I guess there's no other option then. What do you say Haley?" Sakaki said.

"Huh?"

"I'll take care of these guys and we can clean up that wound of yours. Unfortunately Akisame and Kensei are somewhere else doing whatever it is they do and Miu's healing Kenichi. So I'll have to do it. Just wait a sec. This isn't something a lady like yourself should see," Sakaki said. He walked over to the other two and grabbed them by their collars, dragging them away and around the corner.

"What does he mean a lady like myself? Isn't he the one training me? I don't get it," I muttered. I felt my cheeks. "Why do my cheeks feel so warm? And why does my stomach feel weird, like there's butterflies in it?" Then I remembered the wound he talked about.

And what wound? I thought. I felt the top of my head and felt that it was sticky. When I brought my hand down, I saw that it was covered with blood.

"How can that happen? I was only hit once. Well, I was punched then I hit a concrete wall but still," I trailed off.

"Okay Haley, let's clean that wound of yours," Sakaki said, coming around the corner with his hands in his pockets. Wordlessly I nodded. I attempted to stand up but my body wouldn't obey me still. He sighed. Then he picked me up and carried me bridal style, causing me to blush even more.

Why am I blushing? What's going on with me?
