After a delicious meal, made by Mudkip's mother, Bulbasaur and Mudkip went up to the bedroom to rest. Without a doubt, the two are exhausted. Mudkip offered to let Bulbasaur sleep on his bed, but he declined and chose to sleep on the floor instead. Bulbasaur curled up and closed his eyes.

"I'm beat." Bulbasaur said, just as he was just about ready to fall into the depths of his dreams.

"Me too." Mudkip said, also on the verge of falling asleep.

Mudkip's eyes shut. The two had quickly drifted into a deep sleep.

"DON'T DO IT!"

Bulbasaur wakes up in a fright, after hearing that voice again. "Don't do what?" He whispers to himself. Bulbasaur is no longer exhausted, but instead curious. He wanted to know about that voice he had heard in his dreams; maybe, it was just a strange nightmare, but he really thought about it. He came to the conclusion that the voice was from someone of his forgotten past; a friend, a family member, somebody. He wanted to tell someone badly about it. He thought that maybe Mudkip would like to hear about it.

Bulbasaur turns around to see Mudkip, still in a deep sleep. He did not want to wake him up, since that today was so rough for him. Bulbasaur couldn't sleep, so he decided to go outside for some fresh air. He walks downstairs and sees Mudkip's parents having a conversation about the new system of government. Bulbasaur does not want to join in on the talk.

He goes outside and look at the beautiful sunset. Bulbasaur walks a couple yards away from the house and points himself in the direction of the sun. He closes his eyes and takes a breath through his nose and exhales through his mouth. Bulbasaur smiles, just letting the tranquil winds hit his face. He turns around and gets a view of the forest.

Curiousity peaked in Bulbasaur. He was too young to care about government, but he was curious. A new governemt, he thought to himself. He quickly stepped back inside the house to talk with the parents.

"Hi, so you were talking about this new system of governemnt. Can I join in?" Bulbasaur asks the married couple.

"Sure. We're always willing to let someone join in on the conversation." The father Marshtomp said.

The mother started explaining "The system of government, well, changed yesterday from a monarchy to a constitutional democracy. It's kind of odd; the day our son found you, was the day it changed."

Bulbasaur wondered, then asked "Do you think this has anything to do with me?"

"I'm sure it was just a coincedence." The mother replied.

"Why did it change?" Bulbasaur asked, suddenly feeling nervous.

The father explained "A year ago, the Providence of Saur-this country's kingdom-was destroyed; most of the residents there died, especially their king and his daughter. The only ones of royalty who survived were his sons, his other daughter, and his wife: the queen. A year later, everyone dissapeared, except for his older son. He gave a speech and in his speech, he said 'This country is no longer a monarchy, but a democracy' and he just left. Everyone knows the story: non-stop articles in the paper, people running in the streets, horrified. List goes on; everyone's gotten the message."

"Quite a story." Bulbasaur said "What kind of Pokemon were in the royal family?"

The father looked at Bulbasaur, confused "Uh, your breed, Bulbasaur. I thought you knew because everyone else did."

"I didn't." Bulbasaur said, suprised. "I should head back upstairs. It was a long day, today." He rushes back up to Mudkip's room and goes right back to sleep on the ground.

A couple minutes pass; Mudkip wakes up from his sleep and yawns. "Feelin' refreshed." he says. Mudkip walks over to the sleeping Bulbasaur. "Hey buddy, time to wake up."

Bulbasaur opens his eyes, which are bloodshot. He went back to sleep only minutes before Mudkip woke him up. "What?" he said, feeling cranky.

"It's time to wake up." Mudkip said.

"I'm still kinda tired." Bulbasaur replied to Mudkip.

"Alright, then. Get some rest. You've earned it." Mudkip says. "Hey, listen. I'm gonna go put the payment in the bank. So, stick here and I'll be back in a sec'."

Mudkip leaves his room, heads downstairs, to inform his parents that he will be heading to the bank, and proceeds to do so.

Mudkip walks on the trail towards Pokemon Square, when suddenly, he feels a sudden, numbness. He had been paralyzed by a Thunder Wave.

"Look who we found." the voice of a familiar one said.

Mudkip sees in his field of vision; those bullies: Plusle and Minun. Terror struck through him like a dagger. Immeaditly, Mudkip knew that these two were infuriated, due to his recruit, Bulbasaur snapping at them earlier.

"So, little Mudkip, where's your big, strong, Bulbasaur now?" Minun asked in such a malice tone.

"Nowhere in sight? All alone?" Plusle said, grinning such a sinister grin.

Mudkip wanted to shout at them. He wanted to run, but he couldn't. He wanted to shut his eyes, so he wouldn't have to see what the two are about to do to him, but he couldn't.

Meanwhile, Bulbasaur was sitting down, staring up at the ceiling, thinking about what Mudkip's father told him about. His curiousity peaked again. He wanted to learn about the kingdom's history: it's people, it's rulers, especially, the older brother. "Big Leaves." Bulbasaur unconciously mumbles to himself.

He kept on thinking and thinking, until he heard the door open and the sobbing of his leader.

Bulbasaur heard Mudkip's mom asking "Are you okay?" in worry and his dad asked "What the hell happened?". He went downstairs to see Mudkip and his parents comforting him. Mudkip was covered in bruises, tears rolling down his face. Right there, Bulbasaur knew what happened immeaditly.

"Those fuckers." Bulbasaur mumbled to himself, just about ready to snap.

"They took the money." Mudkip shouted, before going back into a sob.

At that moment, Bulbasaur furiously barges out of the house. The parents were too worried about their son to stop him.

But, the mother asks "Where are you going?"

Bulbasaur answers "To make sure this never happens again." He quickly walks into town.

There was no sign of the Plusle or Minun, just yet. Bulbasaur kept walking through the trail, until he saw an empty hut with a "For Sale" sign slapped on the door and left of it, a hut that appeared to have been purchased-recently. Bulbasaur had to keep his attention on finding those Plusle and Minun, but he was curious about the house. He thought that maybe the two were in there. He looked in all direction to make sure no one would see him and then, carefully opened the door.

"No key?" Bulbasaur whispered to himself. After opening the door, he sees the grass on the ground and the inner walls. No Plusle and Minun, but he couldn't help saying "Place looks nice." Bulbasaur had taken interest in that hut, but he had to keep his focus on those two rotten twins. He remembered the pain and humiliation that they inflicted on Mudkip; seeing his bruised up body.

He slams the door in a heat of rage. The slam alerted three passerbys. Two of them, he recongized, the other one, he did not. It was the same Chikorita and Charmander he had met the day before and a Squirtle. They wore pink scarfs on their necks: Pecha Scarfs.

"Oh, hey." The Chikorita said, happy to see a familiar face.

Bulbasaur flirted at the sight; nodding at the Chikorita. "Uh, hello. So, you got a new recruit, I see?"

The latest recruit quickly introduced himself "Yeah, name's Squirtle."

"Obviously" Bulbasaur snarked.

"So, did you settle that issue with Mudkip?" The Charmander asked quickly, before the Squirtle could bicker at Bulbasaur.

"Yeah." Bulbasaur quickly says. "Listen, I have to do something right now. I'd love to stay in chat, but it's really important."

"Well, okay." The Chikorita said, feeling disspointed.

"One more thing; have any of you seen a Plusle and a Minun?" Bulbasaur asked desperatly.

"Actually, I saw a Plusle and Minun at the bank." The Squirtle replied "I wanted to explore town and I saw them turning in money to the bank."

Bulbasaur nodded and proceeded into Pokemon Square. He jogged over to the Persian Bank, to talk with the one in charge there, obviously, a Persian.

"Excuse me, there was a Plusle and Minun here earlier. Can you tell me which direction they went after they deposited the money that wasn't theirs. Don't ask questions, just tell me." Bulbasaur quickly said.

"They went right, which is your left, by the way." The Persian said.

Bulbasaur thanked the Persian and headed left into town. He turned to his right and saw a path, leading to a pond. Bulbasaur went over to it and stared into the water.

"Where are they?" He asked.

A Whishcash pops his head out of the pond, shocking Bulbasaur, causing him to jump.

"My apologies for that." The Whishcash says and then asks "Who are you looking for?"

"These spoiled twins: A Plusle and Minun. They assaulted and humiliated my leader. Did you see them?" Bulbasaur asked.

To, Bulbasaur's suprise, the elder actually said "Yes." He then explained to Bulbasaur "I saw them going up the stairs behind me, boasting about how they broke the Mudkip's spirit-the same Mudkip that talked to me just the other day-and are going to the capital to celebrate. Sadistic children, rotten to the core, treating the poor Mudkip like that. Other than his humiliation, it seems that he's found someone: a recruit. Are you him?"

Bulbasaur grew even more suprised and the Whiscash already knew the answer, simply by looking at his facial expression. "No need to answer, I already know. What's your opinion on him?"

Bulbasaur was reluctant to answer, but he said, with honesty "He's not a good leader. He's pretty wimpy and hesitant, but it's his first day on the job. I'm sure he'll grow out of it. He might not be the best leader, but he's my leader and I'll be on his side, until the end."

Whiscash admires his undying loyalty "Your loyalty to him is grand, but what do you plan on doing to those twins?"

"Blackmail." Bulbasaur states "It's the only way."

"I'd say that it would not be right, but teach those children a lesson." Whiscash says.

"I will." Bulbasaur says.

A Gengar with a malice grin pops up "Gonna blackmail'em? Better take this." The Gengar gives Bulbasaur an object made of ice, with a hole in it's center.

"A frism, I think." Bulbasaur replies.

"Yep." The Gengar said quickly before dissapearing into the night.

"That was weird." Bulbasaur said. "Well, uh, wish me luck." He proceeded up the stairs into the upper part of town. He saw the path that led to the diner; no Plusle or Minun going that way. Since the two were rich snobs, they'd obviously not go to a low/middle class resteraunt. Bulbasaur looked up in the sky and saw a Pidgeot flying through the skies, directly above him, in the opposite direction of him.

Bulbasaur thought about for a second, though it may seem to be an irrational thought; maybe the Plusle and Minun were taking a flight transportation to "The Capital". There must be a transportation center nearby, so Bulbasaur decided to explore. He headed north, and later, saw a service booth entitled "Pidgeot Express: Fast Travel". An adolscent Pidgeotto was in charge of the booth and behind him, appeared to be hundreds of Pidgeot on duty.

Bulbasaur walks up to the booth and says; without giving the Pidgeotto time to introduce "Hey, I need a flight to the Capital City. It's very important."

"Alright, that'll be 3000 Poke." The Pidgeotto answered, following his usual routine.

Bulbasaur felt a shock and fear take over him. He forgot to bring cash. Then again, he didn't have any cash for that matter. The rush of many thoughts went through his head. He could get arrested, maybe killed. He thought that maybe blackmailing those two rotten children was a bad idea.

"Y'know, you could use our service for free, if you're a Rescue Team Official. All you need is a valid badge." The young Pidgeotto said.

Bulbasaur's shock turns into relief and he lets out a huge sigh of relief. He quickly flashes his Rescue Team Badge to the Pidgeotto.

"Go on in and pick one." Pidgeotto says to Bulbasaur.

Bulbasaur nods and picks the nearest Pidgeot avaliable.

"Where to?" The Pidgeot asks.

"The Capital." Bulbasaur answers, before climbing on top of the Pidgeot's back.

"Remember to hang on, young one." The Pidgeot informs Bulbasaur, following his usual routine.

"Obviously." Bulbasaur said.

The Pidgeot, without warning, soars high into the sky; as high as the other Pidgeot he saw.

"It'll be a bit of a trip, but you'll get there; guaranteed." The Pidgeot informs.

The trip, as the Pidgeot said, took a very long time: two hours at least, but they finally arrived at the capital. The Pidgeot landed, just next to another service booth, from the same transporation company. "I will be waiting for when you return." The Pidgeot said, showing his undying loyalty for his job.

Bulbasaur thanks the Pidgeot, before heading into the city. The city has massive structures, made from stone. Some of these are apartments, while others are offices and markets. There are more structures being built, due to the slowly increasing population of the city. He passes a large structure, even larger than the others. This was, without a doubt, where the new government is operating.

Bulbasaur looks at the structure with great admiration, but great sadness. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was something wasn't right.

Bulbasaur presses on though, deeper into the city, searching for the Plusle and Minun. He catches sight of them in the corner of his right eye. They don't notice him, which gives a chance to eavesdrop. Bulbasaur treads from afar, so the two don't catch sight of him. The Plusle and Minun head even deeper and eventually, they arrive in a more ominious section of the city. The structures of rocks are covered in moss and mold, some with dried blood. This was the ghetto section that Mudkip mentioned earlier.

Bulbasaur began to wonder why these two-who are essentially billionaires-are doing in a crime infested neighborhood like this. Some of the denizens were glaring at them, along with Bulbasaur, but they ignored them. The Plusle and Minun stop at a door, outside one of the molded structures and the Plusle opens it and gestures Minun to go in first. She smirks a devious smirk as she enters the molded structure; Plusle follows and closes the door.

Bulbasaur walks over to the door and opens it slightly. He sees the Plusle and Minun entering a room on the left side. As they enter that room, Bulbasaur quietly opens the door and enters the scrunge heap and after, gently shuts the door. Bulbasaur convinently notices that there was no door leading into the room on the left, so he hides just outside the enterance. He takes the frism out of his bag and quietly breaths on it, and it starts recording.

"You should have guards out there." The Plusle shouted at whoever he and his sister are talking to.

"I don't want to arouse suspicion. Besides, any punks around here see a tough guy, they won't hesitate to strike at 'em." Said the mystery Pokemon.

Bulbasaur was wondering who the Plusle and Minun were talking to. He wanted to take a quick peak, but he did not want to get caught, or even be seen in the apartment for that matter.

The Minun asks the mystery Pokemon in a serious tone "So, are the distributors set? Our boss is on a deadline."

"They will be tomorrow." The mystery Pokemon assures "Also, tell the Electrode that our slave trade is up and running again."

"We'll do that." The Plusle says, before going into a shout "Those distributors better be up and running tomorrow, or we'll be up and down your ass!"

"We'll be on our way now. One more thing, if you're even a block away from our father's bank, you will die." Minun informs the Pokemon.

"I promise; I will not." The Pokemon says.

Bulbasaur was shocked by all this. Plusle and Minun-the children whose father owns the bank-is involved in illegal activity. They are spoiled douchebags, but this takes it to the extreme. Bulbasaur had to get out of there, before he was seen. He quickly breathes on the Frism to shut it off and quietly and quickly procceds to the door.

"What are you doing here?" The Minun shouts; growing enraged.

Bulbasaur slowly turns around; realizing that there was no chance of getting out of this ordeal. Instead of Bulbasaur whining or begging to be let go, he took this opportunity to blackmail those two. Bulbasaur gives off a smirk and shows them the Frism.

"Oh crap." Plusle whispers; growing nervous that Bulbasaur will likely turn him and his sister in to the police. "That frism: give it to me." He orders Bulbasaur.

"Nope." Bulbasaur says; growing exicted. "I'm gonna take this chance to blackmail both of you."

"Give us the Frism, or else!" The Minun scolds at Bulbasaur; becoming irritable from Bulbasaur's refusal to comply.

"Or else, what? You gonna try to kill me?" Bulbasaur shouts "Trust me, you wouldn't try; what I'm capable of, it would make you run in the opposite direction."

"Oh; Blah, blah." The Minun says; growing more irritated. "You're just a pain in my backside. Besides, you're not capable of killing us. You're a novice."

"You're still not taking this Frism." Bulbasaur barks.

"Plusle, I'm gonna kill this prick." Minun growls, now at the brink of exploding in rage.

"Calm down." Plusle demands her sister.

All rational thinking that Minun was capable of if gone. Sparks of electricity fly out of her, like a dysfuctional machine. She yells out "Die you 'Bulb on your back' piece of shit!"

She blasts a huge body of electricity at Bulbasaur; he quickly evades it by rolling right. She starts shooting smaller bodies of electrcity; Bulbasaur manages to evade them all by: dodging, ducking, rolling, and jumping. She shoots one last body of electricity at Bulbasaur; this time, there was no way to avoid it, so Bulbasaur does the only thing he can think of. Bulbasaur gets out his vine and hits it right. Bulbasaur's lost sensation in his vine, as he sheathes it back into the seed on his back.

"I wonder how mommy and daddy would react if they realized their children were in the crime buisness? Not too happy, so if you mess with my leader again, I'm ratting you out to your parents; maybe the cops." Bulbasaur threatens.

"Now he's involving the cops; wonderful." The mystery Pokemon says. "Perhaps, I should take a look at him."

A Miltank, with a scar under his right eye, walks out of the other room and takes a look at Bulbasaur.

"A mere Bulbasaur." The Miltank said indifferently. "I am not a man of violence, but I don't want any cops involved. Let us form a peaceful arrangement. Plusle and Minun will not harass or harm your leader, in exchange; that you do not rat us out nor meddle in our affairs."

"I'm not agreeing to this." Minun scolds at Miltank.

"I think we should." Plusle says; suprising his sister. "Besides, Mudkip's just middle class trash; no need to be tormenting him and stuff. Alright, underling of Mudkip's, we won't mess with him, but we will go after you sometimes."

"No deal. You won't harass me, or my leader." Bulbasaur says.

"Better do what he says. He's got a frism." Miltank says.

"Fine. No you; no Mudkip. Whatever." Plusle says; feeling dissapointed.

"Then it's a deal. I won't mess with you guys and you don't mess with my team." Bulbasaur says; proceeding to exit the scrungy structure.

"Give us the frism first." Miltank demands.

Bulbasaur did not want to give him the frism. He certainly did not want to get the mob after him either. Bulbasaur reluctantly takes the frism out of his bag, as the Miltank walks up to him. Bulbasaur hands the frism over to him. Miltank thanks Bulbasaur, as he leaves the apartment.

Bulbasaur is outside of the structure he was in. He looks down at the ground for a couple of seconds; feeling anxious, yet relieved that Plusle and Minun would no longer harass Mudkip. Bulbasaur waited a couple of seconds before heading back to Pidgeot, and flying home to Pokemon Square.

It was awfully late at night. The town was empty; due to all the villagers in their homes, asleep. Bulbasaur walks back to Mudkip's home and goes up to his room. He gently taps Mudkip and wakes him up.

"Mudkip. You alright?" Bulbasaur asks; worrying about Mudkip.

"I'm better." Mudkip answers quietly; not wanting to wake anyone up.

"Well; I've got some news that'll make you feel much better. Plusle and Minun; they won't be bullying you anymore." Bulbasaur says; feeling triumphed.

"You killed them?" Mudkip asked in a fright.

"No; I blackmailed them." Bulbasaur informs.

"Blackmail is bad, Bulbasaur; not as bad as murder, but still bad. Try not to do that again." Mudkip orders Bulbasaur. "Now get some rest, for tomorrow's mission."
