No one in particular

Kenichi kneeled next to Ashley and shook her.

"Ashley!" he yelled. Then he looked over at the other two. "Haley! Allie!"

"What just happened?" Takeda yelled, jumping up onto his feet and going to Ashley's side. Meanwhile, Nijima slowly stood up on shaky legs and stared in horror at who stood in the doorway of the now open sliding door.

"H-hey guys. I think those three might be the least of our worries," he stuttered. His whole body shook and he let out a whimper.

"What are you talking about?" Miu asked, standing as well. She stood next to Nijima and looked at him with a confused yet worried look. Nijima shakily pointed at the doorway. Everyone followed his gaze and whoever was still to the ground and conscious was now standing tall and in a defensive position.

"Who are you?" Kenichi asked.

"And why are you in our dojo?" Miu yelled, jumping so she was next to Kenichi. Takeda jumped so he stood in front of Ashley who was still passed out. The mysterious man laughed and simply pointed at the three girls. Kenichi briefly looked behind him and glared at the figure when he looked back at it.

"What do you want with those three?" he asked. The man didn't answer. All he did was grin with an evil look in his eyes. Takeda automatically stood closer to Ashley, as if silently warning the man not to touch her. Kenichi glanced back at the other two then looked at Miu. They nodded and both of them ran until either of them were in front of both of the girls. Kenichi stood in front of Allie and Miu in front of Haley. Meanwhile, Nijima slithered down the floor again and silently crawled out of the room via a different door. He didn't fully try to escape as he usually did though. No, he wanted to see if this guy was who Nijima thought he was.

Miu growled in the way only a human can: in annoyance.

"We'll only ask one more time! Who are you and what do you want with these three girls?" Miu yelled. Kenichi and Takeda silently showed that they would attack if he refused to answer by getting into offensive stances. The man just laughed again. This ticked them all off enough where they attacked simultaneously.

Takeda was the first to approach.

"Take this!" Takeda yelled. He brought back his left arm and prepared to attack. "This is for hurting Ashley! Sadly, you'll never even see it coming! Phantom left!" He hurled forward his left arm and aimed to punch the man square in the jaw. However, the man just caught Takeda's left arm, pulled it and the rest of Takeda with it, swung him around and tossed him back into the room.

"Takeda!" Kenichi yelled. Miu sped past him.

"You'll regret ever messing with us!" she yelled. She jumped, appeared right in front of the man, jumped again since the man was almost as tall as Elder, and aimed to kick him in the jaw as well. Her attempt was foiled as well using the same method. He grabbed her leg, swung her around, and tossed her back into the room. She flipped and, unlike Takeda, landed on her feet with a skid. At this point Kenichi's body was shaking from anger. Anger from his already three unconscious friends and anger from this guy toying with his other two friends. He clenched his fists and ran at the man.

"You bastard!" Kenichi yelled. Kenichi, much like Takeda, brought back his left fist. However instead Kenichi aimed at the man's torso. "This is for hurting my friends!" He hurled his fist forward and connected with the man's chest. Despite being trained by some of the best masters, his punch was still too weak. The man hadn't moved an inch. Kenichi stared up at the man with a look that said what he was thinking: Um, why didn't you move? At all?

The man stared down at Kenichi with the eyes of an assassin. Then the man grinned and his grin made Kenichi horrified. The man brought one fist above his own head then spoke for the first and last time that day.

"Stupid brats." His deep voice echoed throughout the small room and made everyone awake in it tremble with fear. Even Miu who usually wasn't afraid. He brought his fist down hard against Kenichi's face and sent him hurdling through the room, through the room, and into the brick wall that lined the outside of Ryozanpaku.

"Kenichi!" Miu yelled, quickly turning and running to his aid. Takeda slowed stood up and ran at the man again. This time the man quickly appeared in front of Takeda, brought a leg up, and kicked Takeda through the roof. Moments later Takeda landed beside Kenichi and Miu after she yanked Kenichi's head out of the wall.

"Takeda!" Miu yelled.

"Ow," Takeda muttered, lying still and flat on the ground.

"Oh, are you alright?" she asked, kneeling next to him. He struggled to sit up but did so anyway despite the pain.

"That doesn't matter right now. What matters is that we make sure he doesn't take those three!" Takeda said. Miu gasped, jumped up, and stared at the room they were just in.

"Oh no! I ran out here without thinking! I'll be right back!" she said, running back into the house. Not a minute later did she appear again, gasping for breath. "They're, they're gone! Ashley, Haley, Allie, and the mysterious guy!"

"What?" Kenichi and Takeda yelled. Miu fell to her knees and punched the ground.

"I was careless! I immediately ran out here the moment Kenichi was sent flying! I should have stayed here to protect those three!" she muttered.

"I wonder what's gonna happen to them?" Kenichi muttered, rubbing his head.

"So you're still conscious?" Takeda asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Kenichi asked with wonder. A sweat-drop appeared on the back of Takeda's head.

"Gee I don't know, I would have thought anyone would have passed out the moment their head collided with a brick wall, let alone still be alive," Takeda explained. Kenichi laughed.

"Well, with the amount of times Apachai sent me flying into the wall, I guess my head's gotten used to being hit with hard objects!" Kenichi said.

"This is no laughing matter, Kenichi," Elder said. They all looked towards the entrance of the dojo. None of them appeared to be harmed, but all did have grim looks on their faces.

"Grandpa? What happened out there?" Miu asked, slowly standing up and turning towards them.

"It appears that our guests have some dangerous enemies. Enemies they didn't tell us about," Elder said.

"Elder, could it be possible that they don't even know?" Akisame asked. Elder nodded.
"If what Allie told us is true, then neither of those other two girls know a thing about what waits for them in the near future," Elder said. Kenichi slowly and painfully stood up.

"Elder? What are you talking about?" he asked.

"There's no time to explain. Where are Haley, Ashley, and Allie?" Elder asked.

"Um," Takeda, Miu, and Kenichi said glancing at each other. Miu sighed and looked back at her grandfather.

"Grandpa, they were knocked out and taken from a mysterious man," Miu said.

"We tried to fight him but we were too weak," Takeda said. Kenichi turned his hands into fists and started at them.

"He was just toying with us. We were no match for him," he said. Elder's face grew dark and his eyes were no longer visible. The same with the rest of the masters, especially Akisame and Sakaki.

"I see. Then this calls for a meeting. Youngsters, you'll be joining in on this one. And Nijima!" Elder called up at the roof. The three disciples looked up and saw Nijima clawed to the roof like a scared cat.

"Y-yes sir?"

"You'll be joining us as well. I'll need you to inform your little group of the danger that has come to our town and who to look out for. Understand?" Elder said. Nijima nodded and slid down from the roof. He landed on his butt on the ground but quickly stood up.

"But what happens now?" Nijima asked. Elder clenched his teeth and glared up at the sky.

"They dared to bring the fight to us. They dared to kidnap three of our dear friends. Young man, now we prepare for war."
