Chapter 30 (Saiya POV)
~Two months pass by without incident~
Today, a Thursday, I had an appointment to see my doctor: Marsha Grissom. I had called in ahead to let ANBU know that I was going to be busy today. Lately, I've been feeling bloated and nauseated a lot. I did some research and it could be CMV (cytomegalovirus). The nausea was mostly at night.
~At the doctor's office~
"Well Saiya, not to worry; you are in tip-top shape," Dr. Grissom replied cheerily. "Nothing is wrong health-wise."
"Well that is good news; I just have one question," I said slowly. "My period is a little late; is that bad?"
"Some-what; and I'm super nauseous every night," I replied fervently.
"Hm, that does sound interesting," Dr. Grissom mused. "I have one more test to run, and then we'll find out."
She leaves and sends a nurse in with a cup and the directions, "Pee in the cup."
Ten minutes later, she was back.
"Saiya, you're pregnant," she said stoicly.
"WHAT?!" I nearly yelled.
"Have you had unprotected sex recently?" she asked sternly.
"Oops…" I said, more to myself than anyone else.
"'Oops' indeed," Dr. Grissom said, then smiled. "Congratulations."
I smiled but inside, I was freaking out; how was Kakashi going to take the news?
~Imagination~
"Kakashi, I'm pregnant," I said to him.
"WHAT?!" he yelled.
I got nervous, and while I was headed home, all I could think about was the new life being created inside of me this very moment.
A/N: AGH! IT'S SO SHORT! I AM SO SORRY! But again I got it posted. School is almost over, and it's the last stretch. I need 85% on my next two exams to pass the class, so I actually have to read my textbook now. Agh, oh well. I'll try to post as much as I can. Thanks so much for keeping up everyone!
